Arcus smiled. finally, something i can actually learn, he thought as he prepared to mimic the shinobi. He made to jump into the air, but the weights pulled him down, causing him to jump only about a foot into the air.

He landed with a grunt. atch, hell. This is going to be harder than I thought. were the words that floated through his mind as he thought of a way to get passed his leg restrictions. He lifted his legs slowly, one at a time and spun around on each, making sure the movement was done correctly.

He then practiced his jumping, although with the added weights, it felt almost impossible for him to get off the ground. He wasn't used to physical training of this sort. His bugs generally helped him with everything. As he landed from his jump he figured out what he would do.

He released several hundred bugs from his body and they crawled down his legs. He stood up on tip toe and let them gather under his heel. Going through the motion in his mind he played out how he was going to perform the kick. He jumped into the air from his tip toe position, letting his bugs give him an extra push as he lifted.

With efforted he lifted one leg into the air as he began to spin. He spun 540 degrees into the air and then cried out "Konoha Sempuu!" as he lifted his other leg out and used the momentum from his first leg to bring his kicking leg slicing through the air. As he finished the kick, he crashed down, awkwardly and had to kneel to regain his balance. "How'd I do?"He asked, panting as his bugs climbed back up his legs and rested on his chest prepared to move should he need them again.

((ooc: Sorry took so long. super busy. also, i know he didn't do it by himself, but aburame aren't exactly known for their taijutsu skills. I was going for something similar to how naruto needs a clone to do rasengan even though he shouldn't require one.

Also, there are two different moves that go by the name 'konoha sempuu'. The one under the gates page and the one under the universal taijutsu page))

Tia watched silently.She looked at Tai."The weights are supposed to make you faster. I think that's mainly what they do."She said."The longer and heavier I believe the faster you become."

((Where's Blade when we need him to train ninja?))

Tia smiled."I can tell you. I don't think he's made me do it yet though."She said."Well the weights put extra weight on your body. If you train using them sure it slows you down but when you get used to them it's like they don't even exist. When you take them off you'll be much faster from training with extra weight.I'm not sure exactly how it works but that's basically what I've been told. I believe the mist ninja also used to do that to train their ninja."She said. She sat on the edge and turned enough so she could watch Tai and the others."When you're done you'll understand."

Arcus frowned deeply. His insects were rampaging within his body. There was no way he was going to get through this training with his bugs on edge as they were. He began to think. I currently have no mission. My goal was to learn the gates, but to what end? I have no reason to use them. He bent over and unshackled the weights on his legs. "Lord Hokage. Meaning no disrespect, but as it stands now, I will no longer be able to continue your training. My heart and my mind tell me to go elsewhere, and find the true goal I am looking for and the true means to achieving it."

Arcus walked across the rooftop to the edge and looked at the hokage, and his student. I get the feeling I will be seeing you guys later. He said. And Tai....if you become the hokage....we will definitely see each other again. Just don't forget who helped teach you your jutsu. Arcus then stood on the edge of the rooftop and spread his arms out. His body fell forward, as if he was trying to bellyflop the ground below. As he neared the ground, the bugs along his body took flight, carrying him toward the gate in a shimmering black cloud.
