She shook her head as she sniffled, still wiping her eyes on her sleeves. "No, it's just that… I was expecting you to reject me. I'm just… really happy…" Looking at him, she noticed his eyes going blank. "N-nemo?" she hiccuped, taking a cautious step towards him. When he stepped away from her, she shrank back, afraid that she really had offended him in some way. "You… you did nothing to upset me, Nemo." she said as low as she could, wiping the last of the tears and snot (ew!) away. Her eyes and nose were still red, but they weren't running anymore. "I-I'm sorry. It seems I've upset you instead." she whispered, watching his back as he walked away from her.

♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

As the blade hits her she is engulfed in flames due to his abilities. Raine then pulls out and is about to stab her again when he hears a large amount of footsteps coming from all directions so he freezes time "Raine:Ace this is not over. I will come back again and when I do you will die but until then goodluck because you will need it." With that Raine disappears and time is put back in order "I'm sorry Alessa." Ace says grabing her trying to help put out the fire as he bleeds out onto the ground with a pale face knowing he will most likely die any minute now. The other security members get to the scene in shock at what they see "Security member:....Alessa?" Birdie comes back with a worried look flapping wildly above the two knowing full well what will happen if Ace dies now. Ace cannot come back this time because the wounds were caused by another time controler.

♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡

"You should be more worried about yourself." Alessa's voice rang through the air as she appeared to the group's left. When she did so, the clone in Ace's arms faded into nothing. She stumbled over to where Ace was, panting as she did so. She and her clones both shared the pain from critical hits; she was feeling the damage from the boy's last attack. "Someone get a medic. NOW." She told her comrades, giving them a look that told them not to question her. "You did nothing wrong, Ace. Right now we have to take care of that wound of yours." She cringed, her hand flying to her chest. Even if there was no wound, her mind still registered the pain from the wounds the clone had sustained. Still, what Ace had suffered was considerably worse than what she was feeling.

"Lie down. We gotta stop this bleeding." Turning to her back up, she waved him over. "Help me put pressure on his wounds. Get me some sort of bandaging material too." She took a ragged breath, trying to steady herself. She didn't know how to help Ace; he was so hurt. Don't you dare die on me. She thought as she applied pressure to his wound.

Tsukiko had wondered around for what seemed like forever. She had been back to get another smoothie. Once already and was threatening to go back if time did not speed up. Her afternoon classes still hadn't started, and she was more then bored. Tsukiko had found her locker, and got all the junk she needed for her art, and music classes. So now she roam the sidewalks aimlessly.

Seeing is how must people where in classes when she head footsteps from around the corner she wanted to see who it was. She was surprised to see Nemo fall down, and she stayed pressed against the corner of the building hidden. She still felt bad for what she had did. After debating several seconds with herself she reached into her bag. With her last smoothie she had gotten several pastries as a snack for later. Tsukiko slowly walked over to the boy and sat down next to him.

"Are you okay or do I need to fly you over to the nurse real quick." Tsukiko asked in a quiet voice not wanting to scare him. Her voice held concern, she actually didn't want Nemo to lose consciousness. Even if it did mean she wouldn't get to see Palian again. That why she left her precious locket with the only know photo's of her with her mother as a small child. Then one with her brother weeks before the mentor. The brown bag in her hand forgotten about now. Tsukiko didn't feel she had to make things right, she felt more that she needed to at least show there was someone that wanted to help, not harm.

"No. . . I don't. . . need . . . a nurse," he managed between several pauses. Head kept between his knees, Nemo tensed when he felt the nearness of someone. Upon hearing a voice, he knew right away who it was. A mixture of panic and frustration filled him.

"I'm just. . . I'm just," he ground out, unable to finish the thought. Lifting his head, he looked straight at Tsukiko.

"Tired." He practically spat the word, as if it explained everything with sheer vehemence. In truth he was exhausted, in more ways than one. He was losing an uphill battle and the fight was costing him more than sleepless nights. His mental stamina was dwindling and his sanity was beginning to feel the strain.

"Not that you care," he murmured as an afterthought. His eyes swept away to look out into the cresting hills of the far side of the valley. Pulling his legs closer, he rested his chin on his knees and sighed.

Nemo kept looking ahead, his mind set on refusing her offer. Then his body betrayed him. A loud growl from his stomach made him remember that he had hardly eaten yet today.

He resigned himself to his body's needs, another lost battle. One hand reached over and snatched the bag after a moments hesitation.

Maybe had everything all wrong? His original impressions of Tsukiko had not been overtly noteworthy, and he thought even less of her when she made it known she was on Palians' side. But could she really be all that bad while still earnestly trying to help him? As he thought about it, he gave her a sidelong glance. A shadow of a smile graced his lips at her sarcasm before he delved into the bag and grabbed a blueberry scone.

"I never knew witches existed til you," he replied before taking a small bite. "But don't you all believe in the rule of three?"

He listened to her words, eating his scone with silent relish. He agreed that she had been stupid, but knew she was sincere in trying to make amends. It was clear by her tense body language and her fidgety hands as they found the page she wanted in her spell book.

Eyes widening, he couldn't believe the offer. A potion that made him not sleep. That took away his feeling tired. Much more interested, he looked at the old text with renewed interest. He always loved books, but contained his curiosity. Now was not the time to peruse through things that were not his to explore.

Eyes averting quickly, he took note of Tsukiko kneeling before him, body tense and wary. Nemo didn't think she'd hurt him, but he felt guarded anyway. Lifting his eyes slightly, he caught her smile. It made him feel uncomfortable in an odd way.

Seeing that reassuring face made him want to smile back, and beg her to hold him, and not in the romantic way. He felt frail, weak. The weight of his recent ordeals made him realize again that he was only just a kid. Kids shouldn't have to deal with this. Hell, even most adults aren't equipped to handle this sort of thing.

Nemo wanted to be tucked away and let others who were stronger take control, but he knew that was impossible. And despite that, Tsukiko along with Fyte and even the weird boy Ace had all in their own ways shown that they would be there to help.

"Thank you," he said softly after a long pause. Closing the book gently, he handed it back to Tsukiko. "But I cannot accept. I appreciate the help, but I came here to try to control my power. I cannot do that if I use means other than my own self to achieve this."

"I know that by not sleeping I am only allowing him to grow stronger. But until I have a better idea of how to take control, the least I can do is fight him myself," he explained with an air of defeat.

"But I'm glad that our goals are the same, at least. To prevent harm befalling the innocent when the worst should happen." Looking down at the half eaten scone, he quickly popped it into his mouth.

"Well I guess if you ever need me you can come find me." Tsukiko said placing her book back in her bag. "Just know that even if you want to fight alone. There are people who still want to be there to cheer you on." With that Tsukiko began to walk away. Her goal had been to set things some what right, she felt that she achieved it somewhat.

"Your still scared though, aren't you Kiko." A voice said that grabbed Tsukiko's hand and held it as they walked. Ryo had watched her the whole time. Just in case...

"Ryo I'm not going to have control over myself when that happens. The best I can do is to leave, but I think it will trigger it if I try." Tsukiko said holding her friend's hand tightly in her grasp. She may not love Ryo the way he wanted her to. Tsukiko did love him with her whole being though.
"Just know I'm proud of you, even if your heart was the one in the end that broke. Please know that, because if you didn't do it now then you would have gotten more attached." Ryo paused and looked at Tsukiko. He wiped away her tear that had formed. "Maybe one day you'll see each other again, but I'm glad you know helping that kid is more important then your love."

"I just hope everyone will forgive me once this is all over." Tsukiko said hugging her friend. She was scared, scared that she was going to murder every living thing in a area of the school. "That's why witch's don't exist anymore. Because they can't get past the first real witching hour."

(What in the world are you talking about Ace? lol ^'^ And if it's alright I'm going to do a time skip. Give everyone a chance to breath/heal. lol >.<)

It had been five days since his last episode. Classes had taken up most of his time, what with trying to catch up from his recent absences. Nemo was still very popular among the girls in his cooking class, but with each day he grew a little more accustomed to their chatter and affections. Not that he truly enjoyed being mauled by them. But the white haired boy didn't run away anymore hyperventilating. He merely took it with silent grumbles, knowing that they'd leave him in peace sooner than if he made a fuss.

In that time he had seen little of the others. A passing glance in the halls, mostly. He thought he saw Fyte entering a building once, but she was too far away for him to be certain. He wanted sorely to talk with her again. Their last meeting had been too brief and they hadn't gotten to talk much.

A mighty yawn forced Nemo's jaws apart, making his eyes tear up as he exhaled in a rush. Rubbing his tender eyes, he rolled off his bed, landing with a thud on the floor. He hadn't been sleeping, but studying. However, lethargy was making him feel fuzzy so he decided to get up and find some coffee.

He looked at his clock, the red numbers glowing an evil 3:47 am. Groaning, he got to his feet and went to the mini fridge by his door. Opening it, he pulled out a bottle. Popping the seal, he gulped down a few mouthfuls of the iced coffee before slowing down enough to actually taste it. A light pounding of his head indicated that he was right about getting the caffeine, the last rush was quickly dropping.

Going back to his bed, he looked at the textbook he had been attempting to read. Astrology 101. He liked reading about planets and stars, but for some reason he felt like for the last hour or so he had been reading the same paragraphs over and over.

Deciding he needed a break, Nemo grabbed his jacket and keys while heading for the door. The rest of the dorm was silent, typical for the time of night is was. He let himself outside with a soft click of the door. With a sigh of relief, he turned to look at the fog covered grounds, hands in the pockets of his hoody.

"Nice," he whispered softly. After a decisive sigh, he began walking along one of the deserted walkways, the only light a few streetlamps and the dim predawn horizon.
