Solaris Sorry......I'll be taking my leave now.
{Traverse Town : First District}
When the man (Elde) had grabbed Enyb's head, Sol focused his magic towards the head of his staff and gripped Enyb's feathers tightly. If Enyb was going to be hurt...he would protect his new friend.
When Elde let go, Sol released his grip on the feathers and instead started to pet him. He still kept his magic contained around his staff, not fully trusting them. "Is...is there anything you want to do Enyb?" Sol asked, mumbling again as he continued to pet Enyb.

Souzourou {Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}
[Traverse town :: First District -> Second District]
Souz looked back as he was whisked away, hoping Orielle was following. But before he could really get his bearings, he was in the Second district, outside the Cafe. He checked back again, hoping to see Orielle...but didn't yet.
"Of course I'm hu- ..." He thought about this. "I'm not really a gambling man... so I would prefer not." He said. He couldn't think of any good contests anyways. And plus, he was too hungry, tired, and weak, to think straight."

{[Elde]} "Why does fortune seem to strike the most kindhearted people? Is everything just pre-ordained?"
.:[Traverse Town: First District->Second District]:. Elde frowned his head slumping very low and his arms hanging about him. “But-but I’m so bored…” Elde looked up a certain sort of fire in his eyes as he stared straight at Sou. He stood perfectly straight and with an overly deliberate motion he reached his fist upwards and then flung it down placing it in front of Sou. “Rock.Paper.Scissors. Right now.” He noted Sou’s reaction but whether he liked it or not it seemed the game was on.
With that Elde began to pump his fist once, he thought about his decision carefully, expertly. He lifted his hand a second time, the excitement was building, he had it firmly set in his mind that his next choice could not lose. Then his hand descended like a meteor from the heavens and exploded into a spread palm. Paper.

Souzourou {Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}
[Traverse town :: First District -> Second District]
Elde seemed intent. "Very well." Souzourou was much less enthusiastic about this contest, and thus didn't even bother thinking. He put out a fist, and looked down to see...he had lost. He sighed. "So...I guess we're treating you." He checked again for Orielle. He didn't want to go in without her, but he supposed those other would bring her shortly.

"He better not be expecting me to follow him," she stated bluntly. "I'm not up to chasing after anyone."
Turning back towards the Swallow-wielder, she sighed and grabbed the sleeve of his dark-green jacket. "Come on," she grumbled, leading (more like dragging) him in the same direction Souzourou and Elde had gone not long before. [Absolute bollocks.]

 [Traverse Town : Third District] Yuffie gave a thumbs up and, before waiting to be told about Merlin being home, was running for the door, pulling out the silver lighter from Cid's. With a few clicks at the door, the flame ignited, and the massive wooden barricade moved out of her way, allowing her passage before closing behind her.

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : First District -> Second District] "Well, alrighty, let's get going," he replied to Suzu and Kuu, grinning lightly before turning to face Alex. He was about to wave for her to come along, only to have the young girl grab him by the sleeve and drag him. Surprised, he immediately pulled away and straightened his shirt.
"We're coming, don't be so impatient," he said, looking at the girl with a raised eyebrow, somewhat indignant as he continued walking toward the Second District. "You know, you really shouldn't be so rude. You'd get what you want a lot easier with courtesy."

NalΘ
[Traverse Town::First District->Slumberland] Nalo looked over to Solaris with bright eyes. With that, Nalo, felt his eyes start to well up and flutter shut. Every shallow breath he took forced them open again until he fell into a deep sleep curled up next to Enyb. Nalo's blue eyes flashed upon as he sat upright in his own island, a little slice of peace. It was a sprawling mass of grass and rock with a single fibrous tree with roots that curled around and slid into every crevice in the ground. As the island casually drifted through space Nalo laid back against the tree and stared up at the stars through the branches. The lights twinkled off in space and Nalo felt at peace. Slowly, little pieces of the island crumbled off and disintegrated into nothingness. It wasn't much, and it wasn't noticeable, but it was happening, and Nalo could feel it. The world was slowly slipping out from him.Nalo's dream was swept to the back of him mind. He didn't continue to dream, but he did toss and turn as he slept. Soon; however, he lied still and let his body rest. It was cut and bruised and scuffed all over.

[ F α u s † ]Character(s): Maximillion Alexander Faust II [Faust]. Status: Fine, albeit slightly confused. Location: Traverse Town: First District - Hefin's House. ---"Mister, I hope you get your job done - so you can meet my Ronso... I like you." The words seemed to echo in Faust's mind as he politely edged past the man in the doorway - Hefin - and strode out into the cool air of the street. The relaxing breeze was a delightful relief to the warm temperature that was inside the house, but Faust barely noticed it as he walked slowly down the alley, the little girl's stuffed animal clutched in his hand. Looking down at it blankly, his mind was partially awhirl as it focused on the entirely unexpected events of a mere couple of minutes ago.
"I like you." How long has it been since someone's said that to me - I can't remember... The last rational part of Faust's mind was berating him, telling him that a little girl would like anyone, especially if they were friendly enough, but Faust brushed the nagging thoughts aside without a thought. And this girl asked me to simply find her Ronso, and I said no. Startled by the small trickling of guilt that was worming its way into his thoughts, he shook his head severely and, turning slightly, walked towards the nearby gutter. I have more important things to deal with right now, especially compared to an irritable child. Despite his resolve, his fingers almost refused to open, feeling leaden as they parted and dropped the toy into the gutter. His eyes followed it, almost as if in slow-motion, as it hit the hard stone with barely a sound, and crumpled into a desolate heap. Tearing his eyes from the sight, he turned quickly, and began to redouble in speed towards the awaiting intersection.
"I like you." But his mind was distracted, and, as Faust fought an internal battle for focus, his thoughts turned almost involuntarily to the words of that second girl. She's definitely not human - no girl that age speaks in that manner - but is she dangerous? I'll have to keep an eye on her, in case a bounty emerges. Unlikely, but so is that girl. “Do you fear me? Surely you are the stronger of us - you could easily break me if you wished. I do not understand your feelings.” Faust's expression hardened almost imperceptibly at the thought of it. It was sinister, almost - at least that's how it sounded... like she was... displeased? Why would a young girl be displeased that I didn't break her - never mind, I have other, more important concerns right now. Finally forcing focus into his head, his steps slowed, metamorphosing into his natural scout's lope, and his expression reverted to complete neutrality. Then he stopped dead.
"I like you."
Turning slightly, he caught the sight of the stuffed toy, lying dejectedly in the gutter. The wind caught a little, and he realized with surprise that it was cold. I'm going to regret this, I can feel it. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he made his decision.
---
Two minutes later, he walked back into Hefin's kitchen. His expression giving nothing away, he pulled out a hurriedly-cleaned stuffed toy from under his cloak and tossed it lightly towards the little girl, before turning towards Aerith. His neutral expression almost daring her to comment, he waved an impatient "hurry-up" signal to the little girl. "If we're going to find your Ronso, girl, then I'll need a description - I can't hun-- track a ghost."

Ͼѻɫѻɍaɨ "Where's my Ronso?"
[Traverse Town :: First District :: Hefin's House]
Colorai sighed as Faust left. He was a nice guy and she really liked him. It was too bad. Colorai hugged her arms together and stared at the door that the man had walked through.
Minutes later Faust came back and Colorai grinned from ear to ear and her blue eyes twinkled. She caught her kitty and hugged it before looking up at the man.
She ran to him and grabbed his hand, leading him towards the door. "He's a big blue kitty." being only six, she still knew how outrageous that sounded "Ronso are kitties...but they walk like you and me...his name is Xifan." she shrugged her shoulders and looked up at the man.

Turning her gaze back to what was in front of her, Orielle chuckled to herself, the sound carrying a jaded note. Did he honestly think no one had ever said that to her before? Hell, did it look like their words had helped? Orielle's silent laughter didn't cease till she raised the back of her hand to her lips to silence it. [Absolute bollocks.]

[ ȤęҟνƴƦ ] {Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.} [Castle Oblivion : Common Room] Zekvyr circled around the group as they spoke. He had a strange feeling, an unusual sense of being watched. Like someone knew he was there. It was only instinct, but he had learned to trust his instincts over the years. There didn't seem much to these three, nothing truly alarming, and yet, the hairs on the back of his neck were sticking up. Was someone in this group aware he was there? He allowed himself room to believe they might be capable of such a thing. Experience had taught him never to underestimate people, although it was so easy to do with these lower creatures he sometimes slipped and assumed they were incompetent upon seeing them. Masenko, point in case. The potential for chaos was present, and hard to pass up. Ölüm had already made a new friend. This female was attractively built, had startling green eyes, and held herself with a certain confidence, a deadly air about her. Zekvyr found her perfectly disgusting, but he was well aware that she was attractive by virtually everyone else's standards. An attractive deadly woman always invited chaos. Speaking of which, Haruko had entered the room as well. He noticed she had changed again, and was wearing more traditional 'Conclave' clothing instead of that tight fitting dress. He had no idea why females changed clothing so much... that was the thought most predominantly in his mind, when he felt the intrusion, along with other things.* It was there. Someone was reading his thoughts. And he was aware of it. Such a thing had happened to him before, more than once, and it was never a good sign. Power. It spoke of power. He immediately threw up a defensive wall, hoping to block this person out. One of the new ones, probably. The female? The heterochromia, with one blue eye, and one brown? Which one of these people had invaded his mind? *A strong sense of elitism, disgust towards those around him, and a coldness, a complete coldness. Like he could kill everyone in this room, and not even feel one ounce of regret or sympathy.

[Narration]
The minutes dwindled by around the universe.
The group of fighters in the First District who were headed into the Second District made it to their destination - the Cafe underneath the Hotel.
Merlin quite literally appeared from thin air in the center of the First District, and began to work his magic, mending all the damage- he would still be there for a few more minutes, fixing the buildings, repairing the groundwork.
Aerith's group arrived in the center of the First District in the midst of Merlin's mending efforts. They still sought 'Xifan', who was likely nearby.
Meanwhile...

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}
[Hollow Bastion : Grand Hall] Within the abandoned castle of Hollow Bastion there was a large, ornate hall. The ceiling was easily three stories high, much of it hidden in shadow. The entrance of the area was indeed shaped like a hallway, with six massive blue crystals adorning the sides of the path, three on either side. The floor had an old red carpet laid out, heading toward the center of the room, which was far grander than the hall itself, for a multitude of reasons. Circular in shape, with a large blue crystal (like the others) lodged in the center of the wall directly in front of the walkway. On either side of the wall, a staircase led up on to a ledge, filled with machinery. But the one thing impossible to miss was the massive, multicolored ethereal symbol on the wall, formed by massive machinery... a Heartless symbol. In front of this strange anomaly, two beings cloaked in black robes met. Both were tall, but despite their similarities, they still held quite the contrast. One was more elegant, her cloak draping around her like a dress of shadow, with skin a strange shade of green. A raven was perched on her shoulder, and both hands were resting on the head of a staff, which she held in front of her against the ground as he glanced at the unconscious form of a girl in blue. This woman held herself with a strange dignity, a superior air about her that demanded respect. The other was more efficiently cloaked, the jacket zipped up completely, though leaving enough looseness around the legs for movement. A hood covered his head, enveloping his face in a strange, almost tangible shadow that could not be penetrated by any light. His arms were crossed as he leaned against a nearby piece of machinery. The way he held himself contradicted the fae-witch before him; he seemed apathetic to her power, carrying a strange respect of his own. Neither would submit. "You've retrieved her faster than I anticipated," Maleficent spoke, a light smile playing at her lips as she used the tip of her staff to prod at Alice's form. "We only made our agreement just this morning. I didn't take you to be so dedicated to a goal not your own.""We do not take our work lightly," he responded, his tone empty, devoid of emotion. "The Conclave of Ruination is dedicated to achieving its goals by whatever means necessary. Helping you helps us.""So you continue to tell me," she spoke with amusement, though within was a bit of contempt. Once again, she found her eyes sweeping over the cloaked form. She knew so little about him, and yet he seemed to know volumes about her- it irked her to no end, but she let it slide- he was doing the dirty work for her. "But never how, nor why. We have agreed that when the Princesses are gathered, I am to obtain Kingdom Hearts. What does your little 'Conclave' get in return?""Answers," came his cryptic reply. "Indeed, you will reap what you sow by the gathering of the Pure-Hearted Princesses, that was our deal. We will not ask for obedience, nor submission. But we will ask something of you. When the time comes, we expect our end of the bargain to be fulfilled.""And if I find the price too steep?" she questioned, chuckling lightly- this man carried threats more hollow than his chest. "When the time comes, we expect our end of the bargain to be fulfilled," he repeated, standing to his full height, almost as tall as Maleficent herself. A Corridor of Darkness slowly enveloped him as his form faded into the shadows. "All that has been done can be undone. Remember this."
And he was gone, the tear in the Realm of Light vanishing from existence with the strange echoing of his final words.
