Jagger watched as Xera's hand gripped hers then fell back to his side,her eyes became full of sorrow.She leaned towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck."When you wake,I will not be here...But do not worry...I will save Midnight and Onyx,even if it costs me my life." she whispered into his ear,then leaned away,and rose to her feet.

Without another glance,she turned and walked away,knowing that she would never see him again."By the angel,I give my soul to the Devil."she said the ancient vow,allowing her soul to be the devil's when she died."LUNA.Come here."she called out to her friend.

Midnight stopped running and pulled Onyx off her back. A wave of nausea swept over her. She closed her eyes and clutched her stomach, waiting for vomit to spew from her mouth but instead everything went black.

Midnight's eyes turned black as the real midnight was hidden away inside her own mind. She turned to Onyx and grabbed her hand making her eyes turn black. Onyx smiled wickedly at her. Midnight half-smiled back. Onyx frowned "RESISTOR!!!!" Onyx yelled in a demonic voice. Midnight crouched defensively but Onyx had already taken a swing making her black out.

Midnight sat up quickly with a loud gasp. Pain shot threw her eyes and her hands flew up to cover them. She ran until she found a small pond using only her hearing to guide herself. She dipped her hands in and splashed the cold water onto her face. She looked at her reflection in the water and gasped. She could barely see the three long bleeding scars that stretched from the top left corner of her face all the way down through her eyes to the bottom right. She backed away from the pond and looked around. Her cloudy vision only allowed her to see about two feet in front of her. she dug in her bag until she found a black silk scarf and placed it over her eyes, tying it in the back. She sniffed the air faintly smelling Xera. She ran right past Jagger and Luna quickly grabbing Xera before either of them noticed. She ran up to a tree and flung herself to the top. she put Xera on a branch and sat beside him. She brought her knees up and wrapped her arms around them. Putting her head in her knees she started crying, thinking about how her own daughter made her blind.

Onyx ran up to Jagger and bowed. "I have come to serve you master." She said not standing up, her fingernails dripping with her mother's blood.

Xera slowly stirred awake as he felt Midnight holding him then hearing her weep. He reached up and felt along the side of her face feeling silk. And by it's temperature what color it was, black. She couldn't see through a black blindfold so why would she put it on unless she was blind. He also felt the blood dripping down her face. Xera felt like weeping to but couldn't because he had no eyes. But his sadness was replaced by anger. He knew his Daughter had done this but he knew who had made her do it. Filled with furry he grabbed the tiny plastic sword he always carried in his pocket. The small fragile blade turned into a dark large one. He held it so tight his knuckles bled from reopened wounds. "Stay here Midnight. Your hurt enough I'm going to kill Rose and Hades. Rose has turned on us and I will see to it that she dies a horrible death." He said getting up, ignoring the pain in his muscles he jumped down below and ran around Jagger, Luna, and Onyx. He ran and as he did so the tree Midnight sat on grew around her making a larger tree holding Midnight inside it to keep her safe.

Xera flung her over his back making her fall on the ground behind him and kept on running. "Xal l' roots valbyl dosst khel..." As he said this roots from under the dirt came up and wrapped around her arms legs and torso. "May you lay here until death Petit Diable..." He said referring to her demon side he ran back into the brush.

Xera turned. "Please, your not my daughter you spawn of Hades. Jagger will release you but only after I have killed Rose..." He said running back into the brush.

Xera fell to the ground with a thud and looked at her. "Weren't you trying to kill me five seconds ago?" He said feeling like a girl's doll how she was wrapping herself around him.

Onyx smiled and hugged him harder. "Yah sorry about that." she said smiling.

Jacob awoke suddenly when he smelt the soft lavender scent of Jagger and smiled. He got up and looked down from the tree. He saw Jagger in front of the castle's entrance and jumped down behind her. He walked up right behind her and put his hands on her waist. "Long time no see." He whispered into her ear, smiling seductively.

Jagger froze at the sound of a familiar voice.She slowly turned around,knowing who held her.Her lips parted at the very sight of him.He was like a dream made from her memories.Slowly she raised her hand and touched his cheek with her fingertips."Jacob.."she whispered softly.Then,before she could stop herself,she wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest.He's real...she thought to herself.
