Welcome everybody, and BigCam... I must say you're the first person to apply to this guild with "I love AvP2 and am in a clan" mentioned in their application. It's actually surprising, many of us have the game and I'm sure somebody else is in one. confused

hello all, my fasination with teh xenomorphs and minor interest in the predators as well. i have a marine equipment guide book here, but i have limited accsess to it, and therefore wish to further my knowledge of all three, hence why i joined the guild, anyways, oh yeah! if you have found me, please let me know as soon as you can, thanks.

Kira the blood howler hi im new and i noticed in the exenomorph page ur missing 2 breeds evolved from predatorions the Ravager and the Carrier A Ravager is an evolution as a direct result of the introduction of heavly armed exo suits standing at 10 meters tall. there strength and "hull bades" make it easy for them to rip open even the heavist armor, there hardened exo-skeloton make then alot harder to kill then drones or worriors, however the way they attack leaves the ememys body usless Carriers standing at 6 meters(i think) have only one purpous to carry face huggers to the enemy, with the ability to carry facehuggers come the lose of the ability to attack, however the carrier can fling face huggers on the enemy. Both of these evolve from the predatorion (i prefer the Ravager myself i am requesting permission to use one)

But I'm not sure if AVP: Extinction is considered canon. That could be the reason why its not on there. Plus if the Revager is derived from the praetorians, then it'd fall under the Praetorian class. Irving's report dosen't go into specifics like that. Its more divided into classes such as queen, drone, crap like that.

Extinction isn't such a bad game in itself, but really I see it as being an even less credable source than the movie Alien VS Predator, which as most people here already know the entire AvP community seems to agree cannot be considered cannon. Ravagers and carriers were made specifically for the game merely because the aliens didn't have enough classes, and the entire game is not only illogical but doesn't go along with the films, novels, comics, or other games.

Let me put it this way. Stepping on an ant hill dosen't make them sprout wings and shoot fire. Animals adapt to long term problems in their environment. It'd take hundreds of years to the xenomorphs to serously adapt into somthing else because of the exo-suits. Evolution takes even longer.
