"Well, that was quite the show huh?" Seth said turning to Salazar. They had caught a glance earlier and saw the whole thing. "I guess there are some forces you just don't mess with."
"I never thought I'd hear that from you. You're into all that magic mumbo jumbo right?" Salazar retorted with a chuckle.
"Yes, and very good at it." Seth paused a moment before continuing "Ah, I see what you're thinking. You want to know if I have more under my belt than that Phantom girl."
"Bingo." Salazar said with a smirk.
"We'll have to find out. Come on, let go group up with everyone and head on back, I'm sure the extra man will be welcomed." Seth said as he began to walk back to where they had come from. "Oh and Salazar, let me give you a bit of advice. You and I both know what you aren't willing to accept. When Kirai gets her soul back she'll go for Edward faster than you can blink. So if you fight this war for anything, fight for yourself. We aren't her personal army brother. We are not her weapon, remember what we fight for, we fight for power."
Salazar sighed and followed. "I hate it when you're right Seth. I really do." A sadness piled up inside him for a moment and then vanished, turning to rage. "You have a point, that b***h is the cause of this whole god damn war in the first place. It's her war, not mine."
"True, but don't forget what this war has to offer you. Save your anger Salazar, we'll need it soon." Seth said as he spun his revolver. "Don't let this little realization effect your composure. Let your rage come silently when the time is right."
Salazar swung his claw at the nearest tree, leaving four huge gashes in the wood. "Very Well." He said with a grin on his face. "I can wait."

((A hop skip and a jump later))
Salazar and Seth emerged from the trees back into the clearing they had been in earlier. Salazar walked up to where his sister, Zai and Lily were. "Hello ladies, me and Seth are heading back up to the castle. Feel free to join us." He turned to Lily and said. "Also Lily, Seth wanted to talk to you before we left. You should go talk to him."

"Alrighty. Should go see what they've been up to since we left anyway." Sam said before she jumped up and swung on a branch into a full rotation then jumping down. "Sorry, boredom gets to me."

Salazar went on ahead and started off with his sister for the castle. "I'll catch up with you later Seth, you go on ahead and do your business." With that being said he made his way back to up to Haven, dragging his sister along with him.
Seth waved goodbye to Salazar and then turned back to Lily. He spoke quickly. "I am simply curious as to your...loyalties. If you are unaligned with anyone I would very much like to take you under my wing. Not as student to master, but as equal partners. Interested?"

She thought for a minute. "Maybe I am. Just depends if you will kill me when I am not looking." Lily was being cautious, as she usually was. She still didn't trust very many people, even after all the years.

Seth chuckled. "I wouldn't dare kill such a valuable asset, especially in times such as these. The choice is yours, but you have my vow i will not lay a hand on you so long as you do the same for me."

"Well, as of now you're my ally. Those are very hard to come by." Seth said as he began walking up to the castle. "You're free to do as you please, but I'll let you know when I need you." He paused for a moment then continued. "Ah yes, if you want to find me I'll be at Vaclav Castle." And with that being said he quickened his pace and made his way to Haven

"I think I will go with you guys. I haven't got much else to do." Lily suddenly got very anxious. Inviting herself along wasn't something she had ever done before. She was doing a lot new today. "That is, if it doesnt bother you."

Avarice entered the forest, flipping his pocketwatch around in his hand. As promised, he was alone. Approaching a thicket of thorns, he reached out and plucked a dying rose. Pricking his finger against the thorn, he grinned and watched the blood well, absorbing into its stem. The withered bud began to bloom once more, a vibrant red instead of black. He didn't specify where he wanted Kirai to meet him in the forest, but he didn't think he'd have to. Knowing her, she'd find him without an ounce of trouble.

Kirai appeared suddenly behind him, and said in a monotone unbothered tone, her hands folded together with her black dress flowing in the wind delicately along with her long blonde curls, "You requested me here, Avarice?" Her eyes were almost like two holes in her head, her pink lips the only color to be found on her skin. She felt no need to show emotion when, at the moment, there was none. Not even a need or desire to know, just existance.

"Even without a soul, my Wrath, the shell is still tantalizingly breathtaking." He smirked, returning the bud to its thicket. Adjusting his glasses, he said, "You're learning necromancy, yes? It is an assumption, seeing Lanius and Edward are alive and well."
