Stephanie, the old one, was not one to strip for some guy. Even some guy she loved.
However, James had pretty much been Landons opposite, as by her choice. He pretty much changed her ... a lot.
"Yeah, could be fun if I was allowed to uhm, touch you?" She sighed heavily before looking at the basketball as it bounced.
"God, you know I'm not an NFL star."
Wait, NFL? "I mean, NBA." She shook her head.
She was, by no means, an idiot. But she knew diddly scwat about sports, much less their leagues and abbreviations. "Yeah, I'll go first."
She smirked, snatching the orange and black ball before managing to dribble it and walk right up, front and center of the court.
Stephanie looked back at Landon before throwing a granny shot, definatly on purpose.
And guess what? Considering her front and center placement, "SWISH!"
That was what they said, right? Yeah. It was. Okay.

Landon didn't respond to the first thing... Just um, easier not too? It wasn't that she just couldn't touch him at all, but... eh, whatever. No use getting into it with himself.
Besides, the next thing she said was funny.
"Good thing this is basketball instead of football then eh?" he said, grinning broadly and trying not to laugh. He failed as she corrected herself, letting a few chuckles escape.
He watched her come up and just take the ball, then turned as she found a spot. And just about the easiest one you could possibly find at that. Actually, she chose well though, because most people would go right up to the basket when they wanted an easy shot, which usually ended in either an over throw, or hitting hard against the rim.
Landon did know a little bit about basketball...
"Really Steph? Really?" he inquired when he saw her take the granny shot position- and whaddya know, she made it.
He retrieved the ball and took up the same spot where she had been, but before shooting he said, "Ya know, you'll be naked real quick if all you can make are granny shots hon" stuck his tongue out at her, and shot, coming to the tips of his toes without his feet leaving the ground, and made it.

Stephanie rolled her eyes. Football, yeah her a**. Okay?
She watched as he got the ball, and took her shot. "Hey! Don't be hatin'! At least I made it, right? Right. So neh!" She stuck her tongue out at him before tossing her hair back into a messy bun.
He, of course, made it. "Swish Swish.." She mocked. "Suck my d**k, okay?" She retrieved the ball and went back a bit, and off slightly to the side.
"Granny Shots are not the only shots I make, babe." She set her arms up, holding the ball in the air. Maybe two required years of Physical Education would pay off?
Stephanie stuck her tonuge out at him, before turning back to the net and shooting.
It hit the backboard, then the rim and then bounced right off, smacking the floor.
"Oh, ******** me." She grumbled.
"Soo, does that mean I have an H?" She wasn't sure. They had played horse in school maybe once or twice, but that was years ago. Did you get an H if you missed but you picked the shot? Or not? She was so confused, and contridicting herself.. it was just easier to ask.

Landon shrugged. "And so did I. So neh." He stuck his tongue back out at her too and wriggled it around just to tease her some more.
He could get pretty bad about teasing, so this was nothing yet.
"Heh, no thanks-" it seemed kinda stunted there, because he cut off from tacking "but you can suck mine when I win" or some such on after. "Oh really?" he waited as she moved back and to the side a bit before taking a normal shot.
"Maybe you should have stuck with the granny shots" he joked, catching the rebound.
Then he shook his head. "No, you only get a letter when you miss the other persons shot- but you do have to lose some clothes, or try one of their uh, dares. He said if you missed a shot."
Hey. He was just playing by the rules.
So while he waited for her to decide, he looked around, trying to choose where he wanted to take his shot, since he was lead now that she lost it.
Of course, he could take any easy shot and probably get her to lose a lot more.... Maybe to start with, but it wouldn't be any fun if he didn't try some hard ones and miss some.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie laughed. Right, he'd sooo suck her c**k if she had one. She knew it. But she refrained from saying so as he told her to stick with the granny shots.

She couldn't help but smile though, at the sight of herself...being herself. She really did love Landon, but she loved how he brought out the best in her even more.
"Right." She looked around, no one was there. But that didn't say anything about cameras. She shrugged and pulled off her grey tank top, tossing it to the floor.
This left her in a bra, short jean shorts and her shoes. Actually, she needed to lose the shoes. But she was going to be smart about this. She had considered how little clothing she was wearing, like not even socks. The shoes would be her safe haven here.
"Now stop drooling and take your shot white boy." Stephanie put her hands on her hips, standing rather cutely, while waiting on him to shoot.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James wasted no time. He went into the room, dropped the blanket, and quickly went through his suit case. He made sure not to make a mess and only set things aside as he went through it, so that he could neatly place them back inside with no hassle.
When done with that, only a minute or two had passed and he had slick black jeans and a blue button up shirt that fit him snugly.
He had grabbed some boxers as well and proceeded to put them all on as quickly as he could.
In fact, he was still buttoning up his shirt as he exited the room and went back out to find Kaitlyn standing there, still in his shirt and her own barely visible shorts.
"Katy?" he said, as he finished to do up the shirt.
He went over to her, and stepped around so that he was facing her.
"We need to talk I think..." he glanced over at the guy still here, "When we're along. Or now, in some other part of this place..."
There was another thing he was wondering about to. Was it good or bad that he didn't feel the slightest bit of regret toward his rash actions that lead to sex, or the sex itself, in the least? He had just cheated on his second most long term girlfriend with ex... shouldn't he feel some kind of remorse?
Maybe because it hadn't just been sex. Or at least, he hoped that wouldn't be all it was.
Stephanie... And him just didn't work. She was a sweet girl that he cared about, but Katy. That was a whole nother level. Yes. They really needed to talk.
Although... James had a nagging feeling he was going to just lose. Lose everything, came into this with everything, and would leave with nothing.
Fortunately, he often had such pessimistic thoughts that didn't always mean anything. But this foreboding feeling remained. The question was- Did Kaitlyn love him as much, want him as much, as he wanted her? Or did Landon still hold the superior piece of her heart?

When James said her name, she was surprised to hear it so close. Her head turned, her body ready to follow in movement, but he was already in front of her.
Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, what was going on? Glancing at mr fix it, who seemed to lean in on the conversation more. Now would be good, he might take his time to get something juicy. Taking a hold of his hand, "Alright. Um, I guess back in the room?" She asked him as if that's where he wanted, but it was far enough away the other man will not hear, even more with a door closed.
Walking with James she headed towards the room she was just in not more then three minutes ago, and closed the door behind her. "Alright, what do you want to talk about?" The memory of the last time she said that flooded into her mind. Her house, her room. Closing the door so her parents couldn't hear. Her heart tightened at the worse memory she had of all. But that couldn't be the case now. She couldn't loose something she didn't have.
Crossing across the room, she took her place on the bed she deemed as her own for the duration of the say. The furthest one from the door, just the way she liked it. A nagging kept entered at the back of her mind, something was going to happen, and she wasn't going to like it. It was going to mess up her emotions and her state of mind, which just got recently fixed and leveled out. So maybe not that much of a difference will occur, wouldn't know until he said something.

Landon shrugged his shoulders exaggeratedly, and could help the chuckle that escaped.
"Hey, stick with your strengths I suppose.... if you be a mad granny with skillz den do yo" he ended all wannabe gangstah, puttin' out the moves with hand signs and all.
Should someone have observed that, it probably would have been hard to tell which of them going all "gangster" was more ridiculous. Both perhaps.
Oh! But it was "rule following" time. Meaning she had to lose something. And look at that, shirt the first one to go.
There it was, another peak at that smooth flesh of her flat stomach leading up to those perfect curves, cleavage right between the bra....
Landon blinked, turned away, "wasn't drooling... per se..." he murmured, grinning a little at his addition. Damn near drooling probably. And that was even after having seen her in a wet bathing suit not that long ago.
Yeah. He was definitely not good with the look and no touch, especially in these circumstances.
Landon immediately made a decision and moved back to the three point line in one would be a fairly easy shot for him, though it was also a bit to the side so the back board wouldn't save him if he was off too much. Played a fair bit of basketball in high school, though he had refused to join the team when asked.
He took a stance, checked out his position, and jumped, the ball falling on his drop, bounced on the rim, once, twice, score! Ha, let's see her make that, when she couldn't make the closer one!
He turned toward Stephanie with a smug look of satisfaction and stood there, waiting, marking the exact spot.
"Come on, right here babe. Let's see them skillz eh?" he stuck his tongue out at her, obviously teasing.**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie's face fell as the ball rolled over to her. She bent over, purposely not facing Landon as she did and then spun around quickly when he spoke.
She lowered her eyes at him as she moved over and nudged him out of the spot. "Move over babe. Lemme show you how dis is done, fo shizz?" She couldn't help but smile over at him.
Steph dribbled the ball a few times before smirking and running up, tossing the ball over her head.
It bounced off the backboard, against the rim twice then rolled inside.
"SCORE b***h!"
She turned, her blonde locks falling out of the bun a bit s she did so.
Yeah, so technically that didn't count. But in her world, it so did.

Kaitlyn took his hand, so James followed easily, turning back around and come abreast with her as they went down the hall.
He was surprised though, because as they went, and entered the room, the door closing behind them and her question.
It seemed like his heart rate had gone up. Why was it affecting him like that? They had just had sex and he already knew what he wanted to say. Sort of. Mostly. A general idea?
It wasn't until she plopped down on one of the beds that he thought of the irony of this situation. The familiarity of the last time.... But now. Now it was a whole nother story on a completely different level.
He went over to her, bypassing the first bed, and set down right next to her with little space between them.
"Well... it's easier to talk around the point, but I just wanna talk straight. I mean, I have no right... to say this to you, but...."
He took a deep breath, bracing himself for her response before he even said anything, and then, went for it. Sort of straightforward, better then it could have been anyway...
"What happened... between us just not... well... it shouldn't have happened, but... It's not...." the rest came out clearly but kinda fast, "It's not enough. I know, I know you love Landon, and I'm the one that left you, but it was stupid and I'll always regret it, but, but I want you. I want your body, your heart, to be with you, like we were, even if we're not the same anymore, I know we're still right for each other. At least, I... I want to try... If- if you'll let us. Or even just think about us!"
He sighed, and took her hand, but looked down and a little off to the side rather then meeting her eyes. ..And even when your hope is gone

Of course it wasn't going to be a fun talk, if they couldn't do it in front of another person. She braced herself for whatever he was going to say, not breathing, no moving, just listening.
She exhaled a few seconds after he finished, and yet was still frozen. He didn't just say that. What was she going to say to this? It wasn't fair to ask this of her. True they just had sex, but that was closure for her. That allowed her to fully be attached to Landon. And let the past be the past. And now, he was asking this. The words she wanted to hear two days after he left, not years later.
"Oh James...." Kaitlyn said softly. Her eyes not even looking at the head that wasn't even facing her, but rather at her own hand that he was holding.
She couldn't choose between the two. She loved Landon, but it wasn't the same as it was with James. Weren't as carefree and silly. But Landon was more, well, more physically. That's a selfish reason to love a person. James had a nice body, Landon's was more defined, that's all. But considering what she just did with James, Landon might not like that all that much. Plus he said that he's never stopped loving Stephanie.
That took a big toll on this thought process. She bit her bottom lip slightly as thoughts continued to turn. Her eyes trailed off of the hand he was holding to her bad arm, neatly bandaged, and pain free. Landon is who she wants. She wants to marry him. Have a future with him. But hearing those few words out of his lips broke her confidence in herself. She wasn't good enough for Landon, and certainly not James.
"I'm not good enough for you. You left once, you can do it again." Still in disbelief this conversation was actually being had between the two of them.

Yeah, the blonde that was playing HORSE shirtless, sooo sweet and wholesome. Yeah..
"A lap dance? Bullshit honey. That one counts." She walked over to him. "Plus. Giving a lap dance kind of involves being on your lap. And since we can't touch, that would be a tad difficult."
Stephanie smirked. "But like I said, it counts. Your shot." And with that, she stepped back, away from him, still holding her smirk.

"Oh, is that what you think?" he looked at her with mock snobbishness. Had to say, he could get it down pretty well. Ya know, until he couldn't help it anymore and a smile broke through.
"Sweet? When you want to be, but wholesome? eeeh..." he teetered his hand back and forth to emphasize his words, and of course, looked her over again as he said it.
After that he just stood there, waiting for her to go on and finish before breaking the news to her.
"Well, see honey, the ball does need to go into the hoop. But it doesn't count if you don't shoot from the spot I did. Starting there and running most of the way, doesn't count." And yes, he sounded like he was explaining it to the child.
"Here, I'll help you out." He got much closer, and scooped her up in one arm by putting it around her waist, and walked back, setting her down at about the right spot.
"See, gotta shoot from here. If you want a running start, you gotta go back even farther, and then jump here for the shot. Get it?"
Oh and he hadn't let her go all the way yet, which he promptly did once thinking about it.

She leaned into Landon, just as he let go of her. She even stumbled a bit too, her smile falling a bit as she did. With a sigh, she looked up at the hoop and rolled her eyes.
"It doesn't matter dude. I'm just gonna miss it." She bit her bottom lip and tried really hard to focus on it as she went to shoot.
