Arriving at the old giant man's home, Erron was surprised to see such humble surroundings. Simple cooking pans, wooden furniture and quaint fireplace were the norm in this abode.
"I don't know who told you I knew about the arts, nor do I care," his voice turned from its gentler tone to a far more serious version of itself," You are either here for help or harm. Now reveal which is the case before we proceed. I do not want to have to repair my door tonight from throwing another would-be upstart through it."

Erron waited until the man motioned him in, respecting that it was his right to allow or not him in, being given the sign and the the direct command for him to be open he replied. "I wish to further my understanding so that I may better protect others from the darkness which seems to be poised to engulf the peninsula." He fell silent having stated his desire and awaited judgment: He was but a student as far as technique and understanding went, it was not for him to decide if he was ready or not.
((Didn't realize up till now that monks were so Jedi-esque))

The old man nodded in approval.
"Then I assume you know that I am Edge. I am only a master of the arts, however, I still prepare my mind and body each day to the teachings I've lived by. I sense a potentially powerful aura about you young one. Come, let us spar, I would like to see your capabilities."
Edge pushed aside the table in the kitchen and revealed a hidden trap door. Leading down the stairs, he uncovered to Erron a dojo-style arena, one that was far more decorated and well-kept than the modest abode above. There was a large arena circle in the center of the room.
The large man stepped within the bounds of the ring, beckoning Erron to do the same.
"Come then, show me what you know. Show me your Stunning Fist, I assume you know that much. If you'd prefer me to make the first move, I will... Choose quickly."

Erron quickly tied off his robe and deliberately bowed to his opponent, readied into a fighting position and concentrated neutral chakra into his fist to deliver a stunning blow! "Kya~!"

Edge's eyes flashed for a moment as the incoming strike flew in.
1-3 Edge catches Erron's arm mid-attack and pulls him over his head, throwing him against the wall.
4-6 Edge blocks the attack but is only able to make a light retaliation, sending a quick jab into Erron's abdomen.
7-9 Edge barely dodges the attack and is unable to retaliate.
10 Edge is struck by the Stunning Fist, though he resists the stun itself.
Results: The older man brings his right arm to bear as Erron's fist flies in, he blocks the attack with his wrist and glares into the younger monk's eyes as his left hand swings low and strikes Erron in the stomach lightly, though still knocking the wind out of him.

Erron takes a knee from the light blow and tries to gather some air into his lungs, he decides it best to switch tactics, taking a retaliatory stance he prepares to counter whatever attack Edge send his way.

"If you can strike me, even once, I will show you what separates yourself from a master."
Edge brought both fists to bear as he invoked his Flurry of Blows.
1-3 Erron is pummeled by Edge.
4-7 Erron avoids most of the attacks, though a few strikes get through.
8-10 Erron avoids all the attacks and Edge is left off balance and vulnerable.
Results: Erron skillfully is able to dodge most of the blindingly fast strikes, though roughly three punches made their way through his defense, sending him staggering slightly.

Erron disengaged Edge before he was able to execute another flurry of blows and swept his leg at his middle: a feign, attempting to get him to be forced to step back in mid-evasion and then catch him with his own concentrated flurry!

Erron unleashes a swift kick followed by a Flurry of Blows of his own!
1 Edge dodges all incoming attacks and launches a Stunning Fist counter
2-5 Edge dodges half of the attacks but is forced to block the rest
6-9 Edge is forced to react on his toes, leaving him completely unbalanced after blocking the flurry
10 Edge misses a block, taking a single hit from the Flurry.
Results: The master monk is unable to dodge anything other than the initial feigned kick, he is forced to block the rapidly incoming attacks, throwing him completely off balance.

Erron takes advantage of Edge's loss of equilibrium and launches another Stunning Fist at his opponent, concentrated on landing the blow rather than disabling or injuring, the final result is...

Erron launches a Stunning Fist at Edge's unstable form!
1 Edge blocks the attack.
2-10 Edge is struck by the attack.
Results: Erron swings in, his fist connecting with the older monk's abdomen! He staggers backward slightly.
"Congratulations. Now you will see what separates us..."
Edge closed his eyes for a moment and when they opened again, light shined outward, almost glowing a shade of silver.
He adopted a stance then that made him descend his lower body, while keeping his arms pulled back tightly. His hand opened in a completely rigid point.
"Quivering.... Palm!"
Moving at a speed too fast to detect to even Erron, Edge soared in and his palm connected with Erron's chest. As Erron looked down for a split second, air seemed to gather around the point of his palm and then simply burst into energy as he was flung against the wall, where he collapsed.
Edge approached the half-conscious monk.
"You have done incredibly well, young one. When you have recovered, I will teach you the Quivering Palm technique and you will be amongst my own echelon of those who study the arts of mind and body."

Erron manages to smile and put his palm against his fist in the traditional form before losing consciousness. "Teacher"

Selce carefully keeps away from the small beast, as her lightning bolt soared in and left it dazed for a minute she began to cast an ENCHANTED WEAPON spell. As it materialized in the form of a sword she slashed down at the Lava demon.

Selce slashes down at the stunned lava rabbit!
1-4 = Win
Results: Selce plunges the magical weapon into the magma bunny and it simply shakes and shudders with a painful squeal before it explodes into tiny bits, revealing a Chaos Fragment.
