Zanio was hesitant to answer Sara's question. He knew about what was in the chest, and what it was. But how it talked, he didn't know. "I-It's a weapon of the Seven. They are powerful weapons who try to take control of their wielders and if the one who wields it is able to keep in control, then the weapon stays with them. If not then well, the person goes berserk and tries to kill everyone." He shook his head, as if trying to clear it of a few thoughts. "They try to Goad you into taking it up by saying things such as giving you your hearts desire, or causing you great pain and suffering by bringing back horrible memories. Only those with a strong will can control the weapon." Zanio looked at the tent and saw that the two where unable to leave the tent. "Judging from the size of the chest, its a sword in there and it seems to have chosen its next wielder."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I don't know." Varnis replied as he drew his daggers and struck at the barrier a few times wondering how to get out. "Obviously we can't get out this way." Placing the weapons back in their sheaths, he thought for a moment. "Maybe it has trapped us, and doesn't wish us to leave." He looked at the chest, as its voice fell silent, as if it was waiting.
((Sorry for being gone. My Internet keeps failing))
"Teleport...hell, I've done it myself. You just need a strong stomach to keep from upchucking at your destination. Speaking of which, where the hell are we going?" Erik was calling on a small bit of mystic power to protect himself from any ill effects of teleporting...it had happened to him before.
Kiri followed the woman’s eyes to the bartender and then to the waitress, but she did not stop there, she glanced around the bar at all of its patrons. She let out a soft chuckle and brought her gaze back to meet the woman that sat across from her. "I see no people... only corpses." she spoke without emotion but her gaze suddenly became much colder.
The room did the same; the temperature dropped ten to fifteen degrees Fahrenheit. Several quiet grunts echoed through the bar and only Kiri and the unknown woman remained. Everyone else in the bar had been fatally skewered by pikes of ice the moment Kiri's eyes froze over. Kiri let out a deep breath and watched as the white cloud that escaped from her lips disappeared. Once it had the bar nearly returned to its previous temperature. The ice pikes were gone leaving gaping holes in their victims. Those who were standing or off balance fell to the ground, the others slumped down in their seat or fell face first into the top of the table.
Kiri didn't say anything, she merely kept her gaze continually set on the female opposite her, the widest grin she had shown so far planted on her face.
Kiri was more interested in the woman than whatever she tried guiding the conversation towards. Kiri wanted some concrete information on her now that she had revealed some details that she didn't want well known. Kiri had spoken about her relationship with some of the gods; also, this woman knew she was responsible for the attack on the Air Nation. Yet, Kiri knew nothing about her, she did not like that. So, now, Kiri wanted some information that would level the playing field.
Sara looked at the two through the open tent flap, as the wind picked it up and tossed it about. "Is there any way to help them or does the chosen one have to open the chest?" She asked Zanio her eye's crinkling angrily at the chest her sword clearing it's sheathe in her hand. Her feet set shoulder's length apart.
((I'm gonna take control of Krious back, if you don't mind Varnis. I got an idea to bring him back into the fold.))
Krious sat at his desk, examing a map of the world spread out before him. The one thing most people forget when they come close to their goals is that everyone will be out to stop them. I must proceed with caution. The almost silent moving of the doorknob to Krious's office was nearly deafening to Krious. "Sir Krious, we have a report on Erik's location." Krious looked up from the map. "Ah, yes. Bring it here." The Hellspawn messanger handed over the report, and Krious looked it over with a smile. "This should be quite interesting. You are dismissed, messanger."
(Oh sorry I took so long, I ment to post yesterday, but got to busy.)
Mia looked back at the chest. "Damn I don't know how to get out of this mess, without opening that chest." She walked over to the chest and started to lay her hand on it. Then all a sudden Mia started to have a vision, it showed her standing in the Stone City. The people living there were doing what they would do on an normal day, but after Mia blinked the City was burning and she saw lots of dead people. She then found herself in the forest of the elves and before she knew it, the forest was also burning to the ground. She kept seeing villages and cites of different nations, burning to the ground. Mia then found herself back in her village her mother and father were smiling at her, and she saw her little sister and other village children playing. She started to hear screaming, and before she knew it, her village was burning and her family was draped over each other, dead. Mia removed her hand so quickly that it caused her to faint.
"The whole preventing them from leaving thing is new." He said as he looked over at the tent. "Usually just let you leave if you wish, and they slumber until another one crosses their path." Zanio shook his head. "Maybe it wants one of them to use it so much its willing to harm them..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing Mia move closer to the chest and placed her hand on it before fainting Varnis ran over to where she was. "Mia! Are you all right!?" Varnis asked as he knelt down besides her and rolled her over on her back hoping she was fine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The woman shook hear head as Kiri did what she did. "You like death, don't you? Once this city finds this it will place it on high alert but should at least be long enough before some one does find it. My name is Marria, and I am sure you have heard of the Doom-Sayers, correct?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We are going to that mansion over there." She pointed over at the building that they where walking to earlier. "Only one way there and its to teleport. No one but me and the royal family lives there should make it easier to study this letter with out alerting the rest of the air nation. Ready?"

Her eye's focus on the form on the ground, nearly hidden by the shadows inside the tent. "Mia?" She said aloud unsure if she was the one or if her on the grounf meant she wasn't. She moved closed to the tent flap and swung her sword at the tent door, she didn't swing it hard but enough to numb most people's hands. seeing the sword turn and deflect off of whatever was before the door she sheathed the sword and experimentally threw a quick punch at it.

Erik smiled as darkness formed around him. He wanted to seem as if he was more powerful then his new found companion. Trying to work with those more powerful then you when everyone's out to get you leads to double-crosses and betrayals. As only Erik knew, he was using the darkness to warp himself to the mansion.
Krious read the report with an intense eye. A mansion that can only be reached by teleporting...one that houses the royal family...this could be very interesting For a moment, Krious mentally congraulated himself for having dispatched spies into nearly every location on this world.

Mia opened her eyes to see Varnis over her. She then slowly got up and rubbed her head. "I think I am ok Varnis, but I don't really know what happened. I just laid my hand on the chest and then I had a vision of the stone city, the forest, different villages of all the nations, and my village.....They were burning to the ground. I think what ever is in that chest, showed me the future, and is telling me that if I use it those places won't burn." She looked back at the chest then at Varnis. Varnis, do you think I should open the chest, or you, or do you think we should try to get out of here still.

Sothe decided it would be best to leave the City and head to the Air Nation. He jumped up on the roof and started jumping across the roofs, looking for a way out, without being spotted. Sothe stopped when seeing a cart with hay leaving the city. "Ah a perfect getaway." Sothe then, before the guards saw the cart heading to the door, jumped to a roof near the cart and jumped in the hay. When the hay cart had gotten a good distance away from the city's door, Sothe jumped out of the cart. The man riding the horse, that was pulling the cart seemed to be an old man, so he didn't hear Sothe get out of the hay. Sothe then started on his way to the Air Nation. "This is one tricky man to find, this might take me a month."

Kiri nodded. "Sure, I've heard of them, but only rumors. You mentioned belonging to a group called Shalarash before, now you bring up the Doom-Sayers... how are they connected?"

As Sara tried to attack the barrier that was preventing the two from leaving, both of her strikes just went past the barrier.
Zanio looked over at Sara as she did her thing. "Thats odd... It will let you in but not them out..." He sighed as he watched them and stood up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sighing a sigh of relief as Mia opened her eyes and said she was alright, he stood up, and gave her a hand up. "If it really can do what it claims then... We could but, we can look for another way out...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Well... I bring up the Doom-Sayers because thats what most, if not all, people know us as. The Shalarash is the official name of the group. Out of curiosity though, what exactly have you heard?" Leaning forward, the woman looked at Kiri for a moment before taking another sip of her drink.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Nice try but... Only the Royal family can teleport to it. Its a protective ward around the mansion. Ready, lets go." At that moment, winds around the two had picked up as the two had vanished from sight only to re-appear inside a garden with many flowers and many people of the royal family strolling in the garden enjoying the scenery, paying no attention to the two who had just entered.
"All right, now to my office for some more privacy. No one will bother us there."
Sara frowned and listening to Zanio's words tried to force herself through the barrier. With nearly no resistance she stepped inside the tent and studied the inside. "Odd would be an understatement..." She studied Mia and Varnis. "It seems the barrier would let me in but i'm not sure if I can get back out." She said slowly her eye's glued to the chest. "Well since we can't leave we might as well open the thing right? I mean we could just close it again if we decided not to use is." She hoped something would work or else they might be stuck in the tent.
"I don't understand...I get to ignore the rules of most barriers when using the darkness...It usually allows me to drop myself behind most barriers...you'd be surprised how easily that works, to." Erik smiled. He had cancelled his dark teleport when he found that darkness couldn't send him in. "Anyway, what's the subject for today?"
