^ Befriended a cow
< Befriended a duck named Ahiru
v Befriended... a duck cow?!

((I think of potstickers when I think of anything. :3
Seems a bit unfair to judge Jack-in-the-Box on that though. ^^;; I mean, they can't control each individual employee, and while they could, in theory, have a system to check every bit of meat, that's just not realistic, and I doubt many other restaurants do that. Plus, I'm sure there have been far more cases of salmonella from grocery stores than fast food chains.
Oh, well we do have a lot of Taco Bell/Pizza Hut or KFC/Taco Bell or KFC/Pizza Hut combinations here, but none that actually, you know, combine the food. XD;; Just two places that share a building.
Female ducks are actually evolving to have more and more complex 'entryways' though actually... like to stop sperm from making it to fertilize. Not sure why, but the male ducks are compensating by evolving to have more and more elaborate penises. XD;;;
Probably not worth the gas money to just get a free pretzel, but I will at least check the stand out next time I'm at that mall. XD))

^ Is a duck cow...a zombie duck cow

< Spent they day reading children's books.

v Is thinking body paints would be quite fun right about now.

((I may always like potstickers. However when I think French food, I think onion soup, not pot stickers. When I think Italian, I think of pasta, but no postickers. When I think German, I think kraut, no potstickers. When I think Iraq...well...I don't know what they eat, but I bet it's not potstickers.

Yea but the thing with samonella it's about cooking. If you cook the meat it kills that bacteria, it's not a very strong bacteria. So grocery store it's your bad, but when you go out to eat you are trusting strangers not to kill you. So, I kind of understand that. Just like now with Toyota and all the recalls, I mean, I have to trust my car to not kill me. Sure they'll probably try harder in the future, especially after snubbing so many customers and saying it was their fault at first. However one mistake really can cost you. If Jack in the Box had great food I'd be more inclined to over look that. But they don't, so I have no qualms about being unfair to them.

Oh we didn't combine the food to sell to customers, no no no. Hahaha, we the employes in our freetime played around and combined the food for our own desires. I bet the joint things you have around you probably have customers doing that too, they just won't be serving it to you. Just like they probably save the best quality stuff for themselves. The way I made pizza I was going to eat was much healthier and much more delicious than the way it was made for the masses. Took a lot more time and was more expensive ingredient wise too. The one upside to being the one behind the grill/oven/etc.

Probably for more selective mating. Right now multiple ducks can pretty much hop on a girl at once. And several ducks can just fertilize various eggs. An inferior duck might sneak into the orgy, this would perhaps prevent that.

Probably not, like I said, we'll do other stuff. And as we have 60+ stands in CA, we can probably just decide what we want to do that day and there will just be a pretzel there.

And now to go watch House!))

^ Has decided that zombie duck cows go "Mwaaaack..."
< Is, admittedly, getting a bit tired of this ^ < v game because she is bad at staying into little forum games like this ^^;;
v Likes yogurt and cheese

((I must just be potsticker obsessed. XD
Aren't there often cases of salmonella on vegetables? Like lettuce and spinach? Or am I thinking of something else?
Either way though, the Toyota thing was a complete design flaw that it would be expected to check over and over again to make sure nothing's wrong. Jack in the Box had one batch of undercooked burgers, which the corporation can't directly control. It's like how car companies are more easily forgiven for just having one car with messed up breaks than a huge load of them. It doesn't excuse what happened, but it's at least more understandable. Either way though, I can't really argue with not liking their food anyway. XD Not like I care for it either. Defending Jack in the Box more on principle than anything.
Oh, I see. XD Sounds like a lot of fun then, all those food combinations.
Reread that article, and it says that yes, it is for selective mating, though not so much to choose the most fit duck during an orgy, but instead to prevent pregnancy from ducks that are raping. Female ducks choose partners as well. Here's the article, and it has er... videos that are... quite interesting. XD http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/loom/2009/12/22/kinkiness-beyond-kinky/ ))

^ Like JK, has only gotten sucked into the ^
< Is completely willing to just stop with the ^
v Dreams of being a professional dom (gotta throw something funny out there if this is about to end ^_~)

((And yet you failed to explain to Morgey? And that's why I'm ashamed, after your assertion here forgetting there, tch tch!

Salmonella is primarily zoonotic, and it's primarily found in raw meats and eggs - chickens, number one source of salmonella (how this pertains to fast food is that ground hamburger meat usually has eggs put into it for texture and flavor, although again, other raw meats on their own can be responsible). I have a feeling that as far as vegetation goes, you are thinking of something like E. coli, that would be my guess. I probably wouldn't worry about a burger if it were me though, because I wouldn't eat it if it was pink so chances fo my being infected is slim.

Oh Jack and the Box has had more incidents than that, that was just the cap. It wasn't one batch, it wasn't one offense, it was just finally an instance of death that was like ok ******** we have to clean up now or we are screwed. The fact that someone (multiple someones actually) has to die before they take care of their issues is what pisses me off. Toyota at least didn't wait for someone to drive the car off a cliff before making a recall. Danger should be enough of a motivator, it shouldn't take a body count. Again this was a long time ago, and even if they hadn't become motivated FDA laws have become quite the b***h (which is fine by me if strict food laws keep me from dying) they would have had to complied anyhow. But again, I would let it all go if their food was good, it just isn't so I don't - that and I HATE Jack, I wish I could punch him everytime a commercial comes on.

It was fun...and delicious...well there were a few not so delicious experiments, heh, but mostly it was good.

Well yea, I mean again rape implies a level of consent that I don't think ducks capable of. Female ducks try "choose" fit sperm donners to have choice ducklings. Not because of the sort of emotional attributes people deal with. I didn't mean most fit duck during an orgy, I meant to prevent orgy from influncing mating. The article is interesting but there isn't much scientific proof, it's speculation. Which is pretty much what it always comes down to when someone tries to assess the motivations of animals. They aren't Animals you know razz . We can't even nail down the motivations and impulses of people, who we can communicate with and study, if we can't figure out ourselves, what's the chances we are going to figure out them?))

Okay, totally for the embracing the tradition thing. By for now game! XD;;
I don't think I'd be a very good dom. >_o
I'm a very forgetful person... D:
Oh, that's right, E. coli was totally what I was thinking of. XD;; *fails*
Well in that case, your grudge towards Jack-in-the-Box makes way more sense. Sounds far more reasonable to me, if there were multiple problems besides just this one death. Yeah, that definitely pisses me off as well.
Ahaha, it's because we can't understand animals that the speculation is considered science. XD Still though, I think when you spend enough time with animals, you see differences in individual ones that show a level of emotion separate from their natural instincts. Not a lot, mind you, and often it is more instinctive than anything, but I can't help but feel a cat is giving off love when it follows a person around all day, when instinctively, it should be solitary for the sake of hunting and survival.

Bye indeed. Good riddance too!

You don't strike me as someone who would...no offense if that offends you? Hahaha, had to go out with a bang though.

*sigh* excuses excuses. At least the pot sticker debacle is all sorted now.

Haha...I KNEW IT! CSI Miami did a think on E. coli a few episodes back which is why that all sounded strangely suspicious. It was on my brain...not literally, that would be ew. Get off mah brain bacteriums!!!

Yea...but again it was all in the past and they do seem to be a better business now. While I still think on that it's more the dislike of the food that halts me now.

I agree with that, but I think that's part of learning domestication. Animals, like ducks (or feral cats), when left to their own devices and not domesticated I think run off mostly instinct because it's what they know. Who knows though, maybe they just try to fool us. And like I said, rape is just too tricky a subject to be definitive on. It's hard to rule on compulsion.

XD
Nah, not offended. XD I don't really consider it a compliment to be domineering to people in bed. It just seems mean to me.
I really should've know it was E. coli, because my family was all freaking out about the spinach thing half a year ago or so, but I just related it to the first bacteria I heard, I guess.
Fair enough. ^^
Yeah, I think in domestication, animals don't have to work so hard to survive, so are able to calm down, rely less on their instincts, and let themselves develop love or attachment. In the natural world, animals are always just trying to get by, so that attachment can't develop so easily, perhaps. I mean, that's how humans become when they're thrown into survival situations. Fighting and killing just to get food... but then again, maybe when they're in the safety of their dens or whatever, animals can show love and attachment like pets do, and without it being just a way to stay in the pack or attract a mate? smile You're right though, we really just have no way of knowing.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:44 pm

Yea, but doms are dominating those who are into it, so it's not mean, it's fulfilling a fantasy.

Kind of like people, don't have to rely on instincts...can be stupid and thus end up driving while drunk. Tch...~_~. Also, while we don't know, I think the biggest issue with humanity and rape is morals...I'm not sure ducks have a morality to thus particular care about anything. Other then, "hey dude, you're interrupting my dinner!"

Yes, and I don't see other doms as mean, but I would just feel mean if I did it. XD
True, true. Haha, ducks call each other 'dude' all the time.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 15, 2010 4:40 pm

Ok, YOU would be mean, only you...hahahaha.

Yea dude, yea they do. Totally! Everytime I went to the arboretum, I'd hear all these mutters of "dude," but nobody would be around and I realized it was totally the ducks man. Like I'm super cereal! (crap, you won't get the ceral thing, darn you not watching South Park!!!)
