Luke jumped up onto the now broken down wall. "..what the hell..this only after a few minutes?!" He said as he kicked down two demons that crawled towards him. He senced a strong demon nearby and decided to check it out. He ran toward were marrianna and Dealthi were currently fighting.

Marrianna's eyes cracked open slowly as a massive headache hit her like a stone hammer. She couldn't move, hardly breathe, and she was most likely bleeding internally. The worst part though was that fact that she was still hungry. "This bites..." She attempted to say, but was only able to form the words with her lips. She looked to her left to see Kaleel. But something was odd. His movements were incredibly fast, erratic. Even subtle movements looked like sudden changes. He must have gotten stuck in Marrianna's spell. She began to weigh the options...
I could release the spell and return him to normal. She thought. But chances are, a simple spell at the moment would most likely cause me even more injury... I don't plan to die yet. She mulled it over in her fuzzy head for a moment, then formed the words "You owe me big time." She did what she could to raise her hand as the spell vanished. Bad move. Marrianna seized as she coughed up even more blood than last time. Her eyes rolled back and her sight faded to black.

/ooc= Well I must be going. With Marrianna laying unconcious with internal bleeding, I'll leave you guys to see how you handle medical emergencies. Later!/

if the main villain of the story and a main character had an even fight at the relative beginning of the rp, what would be the point? I know your character was made a fool out of, and if you feel immensely frustrated right now, (like Relgan would feel immensely frustrated,) then i'd say i probably did a good job rping as the villain, because you know what? THE HERO DOESN'T ALWAYS WIN, nor does he always manage to land a blow on the villain. I'm not being unfair (even though you probably think i'm being a s.o.b. right now) from my perspective because I'm trying to make this rp interesting.

The hero and main villain can't always be on equal terms, and in this case, they clearly weren't. Just like in life, accept that there's someone immensely stronger than you, and move on. Or are you roleplaying just so that you can always land blows on the villain? Cause that just doesn't make sense. Pick up any fantasy book. Does the hero win at the beginning? No. Because if he/she did, what would be the point in the story? It's not the win that counts, it's the journey, and the experience. Relgan's character (I'm assuming from the profile you posted) is one of loss and redemption, where he lost everything he had, and now he's struggling to build it up again. He's NOT going to be the biggest guy on the block when he's just gotten here. I mean, come ON it's the DEMON EMPIRE. If the PRINCE of the empire wasn't tough, the Tyan Empire would've been squashed years ago when the war started. And then there wouldn't be this rp and I wouldn't be having this rant.

Honestly, I for one think that Dealthi's character is unreasonably strong at this point in the rp, but stepping back, I don't think that it's unfair the level I set his strength at. Because you know what? No offense to Relgan, but Dealthi was conquering EMPIRES before Relgan was even BORN. And honestly, if you think that the LAST (or not) descendant of the STRONGEST DEMON FAMILY (the Silverfalls) is going to get a SCRATCH from a Sovani general that lost his kingdom, you're seriously mistaken. Relgan's not meant to be able to land a single hit on Dealthi. Cause you know what? He doesn't have the QUALIFICATIONS to. The main villain HAS to be UNREASONABLY STRONG at the beginning of ANY fantasy story.

Take Lord of the Rings for example. Sauron. If he was changed to the level you're thinking at, THERE WOULDN'T BE A NEED FOR THREE FCKING BOOKS TO DESTROY HIM!! The Alliance would've done it at the first battle in mordor! Frodo would've kicked his a**, for gods sake, cause frodo's a 'main character' and there's no 'unfair dodging'...

And you know what? I'm sorry if this offends you OOC, but right now, YOU are the FRODO and I am the SAURON. That's just the way this RP was set up. (actually i'm not the Sauron but I'm pretty dmn close) Read the character description. And you know what? Right now, we're still at the beginning of the first book. And thus, Dealthi has the qualifications and the capability to KICK RELGAN'S a**. Cause if Relgan and Dealthi were equal in strength, what would be the point of the other characters? Relgan would just walk to the Demon Empire, wading through seas of dead demon bodies that he slaughtered, he'd fight an epic battle with Dealthi, and the RP would end. BUT THAT'S NOT THE WAY IT IS. This is a story, not Mortal Kombat, where they have a fight, and then the end. This is a growing, developing, changing story where your character can grow, develop, and change. I think that's part of the importance of rping, which some people just don't care for.

If you see my logic, then say something and I'll explain this reasoning some more. If you don't, then I'll quit the rp right now and teleport Dealthi to some far off land where he's going to spend the rest of his days, and Relgan can slaughter all of the demon empire like sheep.]]

Dealthi sat on a log, quietly munching on his apple that was so rudely returned to him by that despicable girl. "Here, Purity" he whistled, as Purity obediently came trotting over. "You know, I learned something today." He commented dryly, looking over his apple. "Life is like an apple. One moment, you're munching along happily, and another, you're sharing it with a human girl. Then the next thing you know, some crazy girl shoves it right back in your face," Dealthi sighed. "And I had so politely asked her to talk with me after the fight..." He stood up, dusting off his tunic. "Anyways, I'm so glad that this assignment is over. Now I can finally get back to my villa and take a nice long ba-" "Sirr..." a weak voice groaned somewhere in the bushes. Dealthi walked over. It was his second in command, trapped in a pit and impaled by spikes. "Hellpp mee sirrr..." it implored piteously. "Here," Dealthi chuckled, tossing it the apple. "Have an apple." Earth, swallow, he thought. The pit magically closed back up like a mouth closing after a yawn, and the demon was no more. Dealthi checked to make sure his armor was still on Purity's back. Sighing, he mounted, and closed his eyes. "How about we go home now, girl?" Purity whickered in agreement. Soft tongues of white flame licked around the two, as they soon disappeared into the now quiet night.

Kaleel rushed through the forest until he found the tent with the strange aromas coming from it. He bursted in shouting "Kuro!"
An old man in gray robes turned around. "Welcome Kaleel. Did you do as I asked?"
"Yeah I got him." Kaleel tossed over a ring onto his work table. "But this lady needs help. She saved me but now she's internally bleeding I was hoping you could help her.
"indeed I can." Kuro said as he put his hands on Marianna feeling for where she was bleeding from. Once he found the spots his hands glowed and he began to seal Marianna's internal wounds.
