She raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, how much I wish I could go dragon form to really prove you wrong. Still you're probably right, I could burn it off easily, but it's always a waste of good liquor, and I'm not exactly a fire breather even in dragon form."

Ishira watched as the two spoke. Yahhhh right! Reeve had been so wrong about her sister! She held back a laugh, quickly placing a wide grin on her face as she walked from the door and into the bar.
"Old men would probably never out drink you sis... Im surprised that theres anything here myself.." Ishira walked to the bar, running her fingers on the top. She left clean streaks as the tips of her fingers were dirtied with dust. It had been a while since she had been in a bar, and obviously they were the first in this one in a long time.

As the alcohol works its way through his veins, Reeve's native speech pattern- and bravado- begins to work its way out.
"Aweeh lookit ya, havin' to change oot f'r keen drinkin'! At least I can leave me ears an' tail at home f'r it."
He coughs oddly, blinking a few times.
"For, rather. Not f'r."

She tilted her head at her sister.
"I'm not a heavy drinker anymore, haven't been since brother's death."
She chuckled.
"Besides this body isn't quite up to the old days just before I had all this. I mean small body plus healing factor and you find yourself 25 mugs in and the only one sober."
Lina blinked a few times at Reeve's words.
"Started off a bit too strong Reeve?"
She looked through a few bottles before picking up her second.

Ishiras white ears went back and she stopped. She looked at the two, a bit confused at what Reeve was talking about and regretting that she had brought up the past for Lina.... Maybe.... One drink wouldnt be too bad....
"Lina, do you have any sake? " She asked, looking at the bar, and not them.

"Trust me," Reeve says, managing to control his speech. "If I start talking like that and you can still understand me, I've got a long way to go yet."
He blinks, wiggling his feet a little as he looks at Ishira.
"Why so somber?"

Lina fliped over the bar and oepend a cabinet, it wasn't quite as dusty as the rest of the place.
"It may be a bit older then you'd like"
She pulled out the bottle, and a sake set.
"Microwave's just a generic one if you want the sake heated"
Her attention returned to Reeve.
"Ahhh"
She sips at her bottle.
"I'll probably be a bit.. foggy after another bottle, given what we're drinking."

"No need for heat, and sis after 400 years im sure its not as old as i would like." She said, taking the bottle, and ignoring the sake set. What the hell, nothing too bad could happen could it? She popped off the top easily and lifted it to her lips, now looking at Reeve as he spoke. "Somber? I didnt think i was being that way." She smiled, showing one fang before taking a nice gulp of the old rice wine. The silky liquid warmed the back of her throat and she almost wished she had taken more, but she put the bottle down seconds after she had lifted it and licked her lips.
"Nothings better." She said looking pleasantly down at the bottle.

"Ishi probably felt like she upset me, that part of my life isn't my proudest anyway. Right sis?"

Ishira closed her eyes, taking another drink of her sake. This time she let its sweet silk travel down her throat longer. Well hell, everyone seemed to be reading minds now. With a couple gulps she opened one eye and looked at Lina.
"It wasnt the proudest of many peoples lives im sure of." She lowered her drink looking at both of them now. "Obviously i was wrong with the thought that i could possibly get any reaction from you sis."

Reeve is starting to feel out of place, and he shows it as he rocks side to side awkwardly.
"An' whit kind o' reaction were you hopin' for?"

She sighed.
"Brother's death comes up far too often these days. It's something I can't let bother me."
She tilted her head back.
"Negative emotions are to be suppressed, I can't say I'm following that statement as well as I should. He's been dead for so many years it's not like I could shed a tear anymore."

"Wasnt expecting much~." Ishira hummed and then took another drink. The drink was now, not only warming her throat but traveling up to her cheeks. Her cheeks were just starting to get a light rose pink in them. She hadnt tried anything, she didnt even mean to bring up their brother....
"I didnt mean anything by bringing him up Reeve... And why are you rocking like that?" She asked, before taking another quick drink.
