Bruce looked at Reaper when he cut himself off, and asked, "Something wrong?"

Reaper's attention went back to the other man a moment. "Oh, no. Fortunately nothing wrong this time. I have duplicates outside this building, and if something important happens with them, I can usually feel it or get it. Such as new abilities..." he said with a small grin.

Reaper's gring grew a bit. "Yes...I believe I just did." he replied, looking back at his hand. His fingernails soon became green and quite hard.

Bruce watched Reaper's nails with interest. "But how did you get it, if you're here?" Professional interest was beginning to take hold.

"A small connection I have between my duplicates and I. I leave it open so that anything they recieve, comes to me as well. Then what I have, is sent to the rest of my duplicates. It's a little hard to explain." he replied. It was just sort of how his powers worked. Perhaps a mix of being experimented on and his new powers. Then again it could be the stone. Matter of fact that was probably it.

"If you want hard to explain power origins, you REALLY need to sit down with the Fantastic Four sometime," Bruce said, in a semi-joking tone. It was true, though. How does the same individual phenomenon give four people in the exact same place different results? "Or I could tell you about my own incident." Another good one. He should have died in that explosion, or if not there, then later on from radiation poisoning. Why didn't he? Who knows? Some things, he just didn't know the answers to.

Bruce decided his own story would be easier to explain. "Well, how I got my powers is easy enough to tell, but you can't EXPLAIN it. I was caught in the explosion of a prototype gamma bomb, and the resulting radiation gave me my powers. The problem is, I should have died in the explosion itself. On the VERY slim chance that I survive the initial explosion, which obviously happened, radiation poisoning should have killed me before the week was out. But you see, I was fine. Except that now when I lose control of my emotions, I turn huge, green, and somewhat stupid. I become the Hulk."
