The Lieutenant looks up at the Corporal that was over shadowing him, slinging his rifle over his shoulder at the same time. He laughed slightly at the Corporal's quesion, "Heh I know your not blind Corporal" He said pointing to the silver bar on front of his helmet signifying his rank as 1st Lieutenant, "At ease, what do you need Corporal?"

"Alright Corporal Gangrel, you should report into the Major first, see if he needs anything, if not, report back to me..copy that?" The Lieutenant asked sternly, though looking up at the corporal.

He yelled to rocket carriers "Two of you take on the covenant comeing from the forest, the rest of you, take care of those Banshees. My snipers, take out covenant form the forest." he took aim with his battle rifle and started to fire at a advanceing group of jackles, they had their sheilds over lapping, so he pulled the pin from a granade and chunked it over the wall of sheilds and watched as they exploded.

((hey LAAG, like i said before, it was only the banshees attacking. And the attack by the covenant infantry had already been repelled before the banshees came.))

Mathias pulled off his helmet and scratched his buzzed haired head, taking in a deep breath and slowly letting it out.

He figured he should be out with everyone else, but he knew he had responsibilities. He made up his mind, in the end, so that he could walk around and reply to any incoming messages. He addressed the COM Techie once more before leaving. "Don't forget. If any messages come in, inform me and relay the message to my COM."
He turned and strode out of the COM Station. He relished being out of that place and where he thought he was truly needed. He slung the BR55 off his shoulder and held it tight, just in case.

He slowly took in the sight of burning wreckage and corpses. He had known he was missing a good deal while he was in the COM Station, but this wasn't what he was expecting. He turned and looked at Lieutenant Twombley as began to address him. He replied with a simple "Lieutenant" as he was still taking in the scene and thinking over ways to deal with the wreckage.
A moment later he replied to the other part of the lieutenant's statement. "Yes. They got us pretty good, but we'll pull through just fine. We'll need everyone accounted for. Everyone needs to report in. We need to compare the list of those who have reported in with the list of those who are supposed to be here. We will need to make a list of MIA and use the collected dogtags to form a list of KIA. We can search for the MIA and also repeatedly remind everyone to report in, just in case some people forgot."

*Gangrel heard the lieutenat on his COm and answered* This is corporal Koniko.

The Lieutenant nodded to the major, "Yes sir, my guess is that we are only down to about 75% strength, still enough to defend ourselves. Ill give the order to the platoon leaders to send in a report of their missing or dead..." At the same time another voice came over his COM speaker in his helmet. Mathias replied,

'This is Lieutenant Twombley, go ahead.'

He waited for a reply, he couldnt exactly tell who it was on ther other end of the radio from the static that was flooding the link in random intervals.
