 Zane was glad to see Aaron relax once more. 'I really need to keep a better watch on my tongue.' He clicked his tongue, thinking. 'I hadn't meant to say that. Oh well. It's done and over with now.' He gave a mental shrug, the blush fading from his cheeks. The purr was a soothing sound, relaxing his mind.

Aaron was completely content staying like that, still purring. His eyes were only half open at the moment, just staring at the ground. His cat tail happily flicked around. The only thing that worried Aaron was that he might transform into a cat soon.

Zane watched, amused by how relaxed Aaron was. 'Just like a big kitten.' He chuckled at the thought. 'Course, most people described like that don't have ears, tail, and all that.' His fingers moved in a slow, steady circle at the base of the ear, were soft fur met hair.

Aaron felt his eye lids close a little more and he continued to purr. 'It's so...soothing....ah....so...good....' He thought, feeling a lot now like a cat, praying not to transform...
((I'm still debating whether or not to let him transform now confused Hee, hee his thoughts made me giggle. [both of theirs] ))

Zane chuckled. He couldn't help it. It wasn't everyday you got to see a cat-boy sitting in the grass, purring. 'You know, he said his changed were triggered by emotions. Is relaxation considered an emotion? Or maybe peaceful would be a better way to describe it. Would this cause his to transform?' He still wasn't entirely sure just how strong the emotion had to be before Aaron changed. Or what emotions could trigger it. 'Could any emotion? Or just specific ones?'

'Oh jeez....I'm getting to relaxed...that's...not a good--' Before Aaron could finish his train of thought, he transformed into a cat. He blinked a few times, noticing he was closer to the ground and made an upset meow, as he was displeased to know he just transformed. 'Greeeaaat.' He thought, irritated.
((Hee hee, I love bugging my characters...and oh, yeah, he looks like a cute little kitten with fur hanging over one of his eyes just like his hair! X3 ))

Zane blinked in surprise when there was a sudden lack of fur beneath his fingers. He glanced down at Aaron, hearing the meow. "Well, that answers that question." Without thinking, he reached out and picked up the dark-furred kitten. He cuddled the soft fur, then his mind registered that this wasn't just any kitten. "Oops! Sorry Aaron." Gently, he placed the kitten back down on the grass.

Aaron blinked a few times, meowing softly in responce. It took him a moment to realize he couldn't speak, and hung his head for a moment. He looked back up at Zane and let his tail flick around happily, trying to tell the boy it was fine. 'Now...if only there was a pen and a piece of paper lying around here somewhere....' Aaron though, his head turning as he looked around. He really looked like a fluff ball and the only thing that stood out were his eyes, which looked the same as his human form, even with the greenish color around his eyes.

Zane watched Aaron for any signs that he was irritated. There were none. 'Actually, if he'd been a real cat, I'd swear he was happy. Though, looking for something.' Carefully, he reached out once more and picked up Aaron. As he did so, he was ever alert for any sign or signal that the boy-turned-cat didn't want this. "You looking for something?" Zane remembered to phrase the question in a yes/no format so that Aaron could answer easily.

Aaron tensed when he was picked up, only because he had been surprised, but quickly relaxed. He gazed at Zane with his big cat eyes, and nodded, mewing softly. 'I need a pen and paper so I can write so we don't have to talk like this!' He thought, wondering where he could find a pen and paper when they were outside.

Zane paused when he felt Aaron tense then relax. Assured that all was fine, he nodded. "Okay....Now is the issue. What are you looking for? But how do you tell me?" The teen was mostly thinking aloud. Holding the kitten-Aaron, he scratched at the base of his ears, thinking. "Um....Guessing game time. Maybe twenty questions will work?" He suggested, looking down at the kitten in his arm.

Aaron purred softly then at the question, he almost laughed, that is, if he could laugh. He nodded. 'Worth a shot I guess...' He thought, really hating that in cat form he couldn't speak. Although, Aaron bet that if he was better at shapeshifting he could make his voice be of his own voice...hmm...maybe he should try that one day...

((Yeah. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.))
"Alright." Zane nodded, thinking of his first questions. "I'll do a couple at a time so it isn't too slow or time consuming." He paused, trying to phrase his questions correctly. "First, is it alive? Then is it big? Is it common?" He decided to stop there so he would be able to remember what Aaron was answering. The teen shifted so that he was petting the soft fur on Aaron's back, rather than scratching his ears. He figured it would make it easier on the kitten, for responding.

Aaron listened, his back arcing slightly as Zane pet him, feeling pretty content again. He shook his head at the first question, then shook his head again for the second and nodded slightly for the last. 'It's pretty common...I think....' He thought, hoping he was thinking correctly.

'Alright. Small, common inanimate object.....' He kept that in mind, thinking through the next set of questions. "Let's see then....Is it found inside a house? Is it found in a purse? Is it something useful? As in, not just for looks?" He hoped this bunch would give him insight as to what Aaron was searching for.
