After the explosion, Mackenzie still didn't feel at ease. He wandered around, and finally found the nearest Pokémon center. He walked in, and rushed to the counter. "I need my Staraptor healed" he said with a slight pant. The nurse looked at him up and down, "By the looks of things you might need some care yourself" she said with a slight worry. Mackenzie noticed finally that his left elbow and knee were scrapped up and slightly bleeding. "I didn't notice, I just want my Gale better" he said bluntly. She then looked at Mackenzie again, "Hmm, aren't you Mackenzie?" she asked. He was puzzled, "Yeah, why?" he asked. She smiled, "I've seen your battles on T.V. and you are one of the Battle Tower leaders in Sinnoh, so you can say you're somewhat a celebrity" she said. "Oh, I forgot about people possibly knowing who I was" he said with a tone of amnesia. She escorted him and his pokéball into the back room, "You can sit back here while we treat you both" she explained as 2 Chansey took over.

After feeling the ground shake and seeing an explosion, Ember immediately made her way to the nearest Pokemon Center. “Miss, I need a video-phone. Do you have one?” Ember said in a rushed and demanding voice after bursting through the door. “Right over there...” Nurse Joy replied, “Thanks Miss.”

“Dad? Its Ember. Whats going on?” Ember and Max were now sitting at a video phone, her father's face on the screen and in the background a dozen phones ringing. “Ember? I'm glad to see your ok. A missile seemed to have launched...we don't have that much information right now. Everyone is panicking and calling us. I don't know what they want us to do though, we'er the local police, not the international police.” He rubbed his temples as more phone began to ring. “You know how panicked people are dad. Where did the missile land?” Ember replied getting right to the point. “...Why?” Her Dad said in a suspicious voice. “To see if I'm in danger here...and what not.” He stared at Ember for a moment before replying, “It was actually extremely close to were you are, a Giant Tree just down the road.” “K, thanks dad. Bye” Ember stated quickly, “Don't even think about go-” She had hung up before he could finish.

“We need to go there and check it out, don't you think?” she inquired to Max. “Growlithe!” he replied. “right, but first we need transportation...” Ember looked about the center, trying to find a trainer with a flying pokemon, One big enough to carry her.
