Jason lugged his bags up the pathway towards the mansion, which was much bigger than he had expected it to be. He paused for a bit on the path, staring around him and taking in his surroundings; it was like he was entering a whole new world for the very first time.

Anne was sitting outside, reading a book. She hadn't noticed the newcomer yet. She was leaning against a tree, tucking her hair behind her ear as a breeze blew.

Every part of him wanted to jump a step back when she landed so close to him, but he held his ground. "Yeah..." he stammered, a bit surprised. Jason had never been all that great with meeting new people, his past experiences with people made him generally nervous around strangers.

Anne swallowed. If she could have blushed, she would have. "I...um...I-I don't..." she sighed. "Alright. What do you want to know?"
