Ammut looked down at the table and picked up his plate and Cia's and got up and turned away from cia so s to not have him see him blushing alot more then before. "Thank you darling" he said grinning to himself "stay here and I will go get the main course" he said as he went back inside.
Upon reaching the kitchen he walked over to the oven and saw that Kuri was a total god and had dished out the main meal before heading back upstairs to Ward and his children and silently vowed to thank that rabbit later. He pulled out a large tray and put the two meals on there with another knife and fork each and grabed the mint sauce and gravy and placed them on the tray also and walked back out to Cia.
"Here we go sweetheart, roast lamb with all the trimmings" he said as he put the tray on the table a bit and picked up Cia's plate with a knife and fork and placed it in front of him, knife and fork beside the plate and did the same for himself and then added the gravy and mint sauce to the middle of the table. He put the tray on the ground and sat down, knowing he will need the tray later "enjoy my love" he said smiling at the demon, blush still slightly on his cheeks and waited for Cia to take the first bite before he did.

Ciaran smiled, then took a bite (after putting the sauces/ect on), dreamy look returning. "If I had a ring, I'd ask you to marry me." He knew it sounded really, really odd, but that's how he felt about the cooking. Yes, the cooking. Nothing else. Seriously x3.

Ammut picked up his knife and fork and cut off a bit of roast pumpkin and ate it before taking a sip of wine and looked at his mate grinning to him "you saying that might be odd but seriously, that is sweet in a strange way. Thank you" he said sincerly yet giggling before taking another bite and blushing a little. If he keeps up with the compliments he would so never lose the redness in his cheeks. He cut off another bit of pumpkin and ate it just so he could try and hide the blush

Ciaran chuckled softly, "Sweet? Well, no time like the present to try something new," he took another bite, "It's true though, Ammut, you have amazing culinary skills," he took a sip of wine, "Never thought I'd meet someone who could cook this good."

Ammut grinned at the demon and cut off a bit of lamb and pumpkin and ate them together "thanks though wait for desert and the after dinner fortune cookie and then see what you think" he said smiling a bit more secretivly now after saying the fortune cookie part.

Ciaran raised an eyebrow, "Really?" he said, trying not to betray too much interest, "Why's that, lovely?" he asked, taking another bite of his dinner, and feeling the warmth slide down his throat. His tail snaked under the table, rubbing at Ammut's leg in hopes that might help him get an answer.

Ammut giggled at the feel of the demons tail on his leg yet loved it "now that would be ruining the surprise" he said as he ate some more of his dinner and swollowed it "I just hope you dont think it will be to inaproprite or wrong of me for giving you what im going to give you..." he said softly trailing off with a bit worry in his voice hoping Cia wouldnt hate the gift or think it inaproprite or whatever. He ate some more dinner and chewed thoughtfully before swollowing and taking a sip of wine.

Ciaran pouted, but smiled, "Aw, ok." He continued to rub up his leg though, smirking evilly, "Well, I'll wait then, though...I am so awfully curious now," another few bites, and he was nearly done. He was just hoeing through these meals.

Ammut was getting full, he hadnt eaten a meal like this in ages so he had forgotten how filling they could be. "I'll tell you what, you can have the cookie before your dessert ok?" he said to the demon sweetly as he ate some more of his meal before pushing his plate away, to full to eat anymore. "I guess that you deserve that much" he said smiling sweetly as he finished off his wine.

Ciaran grinned and nodded, "I think I like that idea," after a few moments, his food was gone and he pushed the plate forward a little, taking another sip of his wine, draining the glass, keeping his eyes on Ammut, soft expression in his eyes. Probably the wine.

Ammut picked up the tray and placed the plates and sauces onto it and carried it back inside "be back in a second with desert and the cookies" he said to him as he entered the kitchen and placed the tray on the beach and cleared it. Walked over to the fridge and took out a medium sized bowl of chocolate dipped strawberries, two slices of irish cream cheesecake and the fortune cookies and stuck them onto the tray and then grabed the plate of chocolate merange cookies and placed them on the bench before grabbing the two chocolate ice cream sundaes from the freezer and stuck them on the tray also.
He picked up the tray and cookies and held them as best as he could and walked out to the table, going carefully so as to not spill everything. Unpon arriving he placed the tray on the table and started unloading everything. "Right we have got a sundae each, a plate of chocolate merange cookies, a bowl of chocolate dipped strawberries, a slice each of irish cream cheesecake and the fortune cookies" he said as he had finally unloaded everything and put it on the table with the tray on the ground once again.
Ammut sat down and looked at the food "I love baking more then i do cooking so I guess i went a little overboard" he said grinning at his boyfriend and picked up his fortune cookie, the one that was much smaller then the other. Ammut thought of the ring that was inside Cias and started nibbling on his cookie, he was scared Cia would think it was inaproprite and/or hate it or something and he just didnt want to be there when he did.
Sure he was assuming things but with Cia and his thoughts of commitment he just had this feeling that Cia would think the ring would be more of a mate type gift or a more serious boyfriend/boyfriend type gift then what they had and would scare Cia off and he didnt want that, the ring was just a small token of how much Cia meant to him and how much he had enjoyed being with him. He shook his head, maybe this was the wrong idea after all to bad he cant take the cookie back now, he had to follow through with this no matter what happend ad just hop for the best.

Ciaran was practically drooling by now, then grinned at what Ammut said, "I am definately not complaining. His hand reached out for the biggest fortune cookie (obviously) and he leant back as he broke it open. The ring stayed wedged in one half, and the demon stared at it, the blue stone glinting a little. Putting the empty half down, he removed the ring, blinking at it and turning it over, "Ammut, I..."

Ammut had absent mindedly chewed his cookie into something that looks almost non ediable now and put it down and bit his bottom lip and blushed "it was a ring that I had made during one of my many travels around this world. In the thousand years I have been alive again I had seen many peices of jewlery that I liked but none that seemed to pull me in and make me want to buy it and so I decided to do part time jobs, besides the whole slut thing, to pay for it to get made and its one of my most precious items that I own. I am now giving it to you just to show you how much I appreciate you and care for you and how much I love your friendship besides being your boyfriend.
I guess it might be a little over the top in the way of gift giving but I just wanted to show you that I am willing to put in the hard yards to to make this relationship work. Which means this ring also backs up the promise I made you when I said what I did to Ly's mate." Ammut said softly while smiling at him and realising his cheeks were now starting to heat up, he got up made he made his way over to the telescope and stood with his back to his boyfriend as he tried to compose himself and get rid of the blush that he had now gotten.

Ciaran was shocked, and he didn't say anything while Ammut was at the telescope, just stared down at the ring. After a few moments, then slid it slowly onto his finger, still looking very much surprised, "I...uh..thanks, Ammut...this really means alot," his voice was soft, and holding an unreadable emotion that he'd never used or experienced before.

Ammut took a few deep breaths and shook his head slightly as he made his way back towards Cia "your welcome" he said softly, nearly a whisper, as he bent down and kissed Cia's head and made his way back to his seat. His cheeks so hot but he knew he would cope with it and sat back down and looked at the table in a shy mannor yet still had half his face towards Cia and smiled at him, glad he liked the gift. He wanted to say something else but he couldnt, he just wanted to let Cia calm down a litte first before saying anything as he knew Cia wouldnt exactly be quick to get over this as Ammut was sure he hadnt recived anything like this before...well...anything like this that didnt come from a boyfriend or whatever. He sat there trying to get the rest of the blush vanish and would allow Cia to speak the next proper sentence when he felt like it.
