Leaning on the wall,"So what's your story?"He asked refering to her background since she was a counterpart.

"Alright then." she sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Well, I was in the park, Central Park. When it happened. It felt like the Universe was tearing apart. The Phoenix Force freaked. It felt like every voice in the universe had multiplied, everythought magnified ten fold. It lasted for a moment...then I felt new minds entering the astral plane. Powerful people. It hurt like hell. I ended up shutting off the telepathy for awhile, until I could handle the noise. I've been trying to figure out what happened. Anyways, I opened my eyes, wound up in this multiverse." she twisted the bottle in her hand. "I haven't found anyone I know yet. And it's not easy being seventeen and finding a job in this place, apparently. So, I've kinda been wandering. Before that, I was learning to control the Phoenix Force with Charles. And finishing up school at the mansion."

"She was 16 and a bit of a mastermind at times but still kind of umm..she just had a different vibe."John said really unsure what to say, of course she was a mastermind always invading people minds on accident and using it against them.

Jean raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. Kinda sounded like her back in her tomboy-short hair-anger issues days. "I'm sorry... I sound kinda like a jerk" she said. Realizing she was still in her uniform, she ionized the clothing and turned them into jeans and a tank top.
