Mordatus accepted the Imperial Agents hand. He currently had no knowledge of this agent, though if he had the power to request Deathwatch - and get Deathwatch - he was probably worth at least this much respect. Not risking to take his helmet off, knowing how creatures like this could use that to great advantage, Mordatus spoke through his External link.
++ My name is Mordatus, this is an interresting stucture you have. ++ He commented, noticing the lack of many details that were usually common in Imperial Structures. ++ So, we are using their own Synapse against them? ++ He inquired. There had already been some low level experiments like this against the Tyranids, though all they usually did was attract Splinter Fleets to the planet or ship test such things.

"Indeed, Mordatus," said Telor, shaking the psyker's hand, "This place is the very definition interesting."
Telor sat on the carcass of a downed Zergling and began wiping guts off himself.
"As for this beastie here," he gestured toward the hovering Overlord, "It's ventral sack is full of Zerglings. Not enough to do much damage, but enough to cause one hell of a distraction."
He rose and paced in front of the Librarian, pushing his glasses up along his nose and gesturing again toward the Hive. "And the Overlord has decent psionic energy, so we may be able to use it as a weapon."
The creature began to squeal at this.

True, the beast did have much energy. It felt to him almost the same as a Zoanthropes. However, judging by the fact that they didn't have to run for cover when it appeared, it didn't seem to have as good of a control over its power. When he heard the Xenos squeal, it was all he could do to make sure he didn't blast its head apart with his Plasma pistol. He still had little tolerance for Xenos, and as soon as its use was over, he'd make sure it was killed.
++ What are we going to do about him? ++ He asked, gesturing back to the other person in the Warehouse, who was standing over the corpse of a few Xenos. By the throne, he had barely noticed he had done any action against the Xenos. If it wasn't for his Occulobe, he would have sworn the Xenos had fell apart for no reason. Even with his highly enhanced eyesight, he barely made out any thing at all, except a very slight glint of silver that lasted for less then a fraction of a second. If the stranger survived the mission, he'd have to inform an Inquisitor about such a fine subject for the Assassinorium Temples.

He noticed the marine looking in his direction. "You don't have to worry about me" He said to him. "I can hold my own" As he said this fine wires appeared from his gloved hands and circled by his feet. The wire was sharp enough to cut just about anything, and he had practiced enough so that no harm came to him while wielding it. "My name is Alexander" he said re-adjusting his toothpick. "Former Zerg garbage disposal." ((two guesses where that quote came from. O: ))
After his brief introduction, he ambled over to join the marines and telor, the so called ownr of the warehouse.

Telor could tell that there was something odd about this Alexander person, but nothing necessarily bad. He did seem to want to help.
"We shall have to see whether he poses us a threat," he sent telepathically to Mordatus to avoid eavesdropping, "If he does, then we shall have to neutralise him."
Aloud he addressed the man with the toothpick in his mouth. "Pleased to meet you, sir," he extended his hand in greeting as he had done with the Librarian, "I trust you know your way around the Zerg, from what I've seen."
He looked toward the Hive in the distance.
"It's gonna be one hell of a fight..."

"It's been a while but yes, I guess so." he says shaking his hand while clasping the other behind his head in typical sweatdrop fashion.
"Nice to meet you too anywho." He said after. "One hell of a warehouse you got yourself here."
"What's with the overlord?" He says quizzically while looking at the squealing overlord. "Aren't we supposed to be killing those things?"

Mordatus nodded to Telor after his brief telepathic message. Shaking off some of the blood from his hand, Mordatus looked toward the Hive like Telor had. He doubted that there would be much trouble, considering what his Marines had done so far. Still, confidence leads to Damnation. Checking his Plasma Pistols Power Cell, he had about 4 more shots before he'd need to reload.

The Hive was close to Transcendence.
Its power had grown exponentially inside this place, feeding off the many interesting artifacts to be found in the various crates that were strewn about the Warehouse.
Yes, it had grown much since it had hatched a Drone from a single egg crammed in a crate full of mineral resources and valuable Vespene gas. It had filled the Warehouse with it's children, and they as well had grown strong.
Only one thing stood in the way of it and ascension. Well, eight things. These creatures, the six Marines, the one called Alexander, and the Owner of this Warehouse.
One of the Marines had powerful psionic ability, as did the Owner. The Hive, being Zerg, scanned these lifeforms for infestation compatibility. Only one of the Marines was genetically compatible, and their enhanced physiology would be both an issue and an asset. The Hive touched it's mind, it was called Cornelus. The psionic Marine was invalid, as were the others. The Owner seemed to have no genetics to speak of, which puzzled the Hive greatly. The other humanoid, the one called Alexander, was vastly compatible.
The Hive decided it must possess him and the one called Cornelus.
It sent a psionic message to it's children. They unburrowed from the Creep in thousands and rushed toward the intruders.
This was the strength of the Zerg. This was the might of the Swarm.

((Hm, is the mind DIRECTLY touching his mind? 'Nids have proven to do such, trying to lure them with their own free will into the Armies. Usually they resist, as Cornelus would. However, the Resisting may cause him to hesitate in some situations. So therefore...))
