After a few very long moments, Riku finally came out of his unconsiousness. He growled and muttered something as he sat himself up, holding his head. He was going to kill that girl. He was going to kill all of them. He staggered to his feet, paused a moment to get his bearings, then lept onto a nearby building to try and find someone. Anyone. He just wanted to rip someone appart.

The laughing lunatic emerged from the building of his current ally, a broad smile on his face. From here, he needed to be solo for a little. He needed to mass up a small army, like what the phony Luthor had done when he had gotten Queen Zazzala to join the Society some years back. problem was, normal villain armies fought like crap. They were too similar to one another, so once you figured out how to kill one, you can kill them all. The Joker wanted something different. But what? If he didn't do something, chances are he wouldn't be able to play in Luthor's game. Then he had it. He needed to pay a visit to a new friend, then an old friend. Several old friends, actually.

A small red spark appeared on the ground, and suddenly burst to life. Once it died, Kenji stood where it had once been. He glanced around a moment, then sighed and streached his arms. Alright, time to get to work. Greed and the others would be appearing in New York and Gotham and everywhere else soon. Time to find Deadpool, among other little jobs. He doubted he'd be able to get paid from Arcade for Deadpool's head, but X would certainly give a nice prize for it. He also needed to find Riku and help him out. Even if that meant helping to take that girl out. And he'd have to find an actual boss. Blackstone was around here somewhere right? Even that Fisk guy would do.
After a moment, Kenji sighed, then bolted out of the city.

Running nearly full-tilt, the Joker ran as he shouted back to Deathstroke, who was doubtless not far behind him at all, "Yeah, IN RETROSPECT. That's where figure out where the plan went wrong so you can do better next time," Irritation growing in the clown's voice, something that doesn't happen often when he dealt with the mercenary. "Jeez, here I am, trying to come up with ideas to help YOU out... And do you have ANY idea how much hassle I went through between the super-Bat and the overgrown Boy Scout to try to get you out of trouble? It wouldn't have even worked if I hadn't gotten Prometheus to help out!"

The Joker stopped running, and waited for Deathstroke to reach him. "Terminator, through a bizarre twist of fate, we're a team. An ACTUAL team. A team made up almost entirely of heavy hitters, and that one that ISN'T, well..." The clown raised his hand, acknowledging himself as the physically weaker member, "...At least makes up for it by being psychotic, murderous, smart, and incredibly good-looking. As much as it goes against my usual M.O., Slade, I'm going to help you. I'm not going to attack you, let alone try to kill you." He offered out his left hand to shake; Slade had been present when the clown had loaded the joy buzzer on his right hand.

Deathstroke looked at the hand for a moment, then shook it briefly. "If you change your mind on this AGAIN," he added coolly, "You're loosing an arm. At the elbow, most likely."

Suddenly, the Flash appeared, propped up against the Daily Planet. Slowly, he brought a hand up to his head and groaned softly. He hurt. Everywhere he hurt.

Steel Spider was soon kneeled down beside him and gently put a hand on his arm. "Are you alright?" she asked with a bit of consern in her artificial voice.

Steel paused a moment. "You...you were wanting to show me that you could go fast enough to break things and he stopped you?' she replied. Thinking about it now...why didn't she do something? Why did she ask to see that?

"It was just Superman and that other man. Is it possible one of them did something to make you do that?" Steel asked. She really wanted to help, but she had no idea how to take care of human injuries.

Flash blinked, still looking pretty dazed. "I guess." Then he blinked again. "Oh, I almost forgot. The Goddess--remember, the one who brought you back to life?-- she offered me a choice. I didn't really think it was mine to make, so she left it up to you." He thought there had been some reason why he hadn't brought this up before then, but he couldn't for the life of him remember what it was. "Something about... if you want to be completely human, or stay a robot but have human feelings (don't you already, though?), or stay just the way you are."
