Tori jumped in shock and moved to take a step back but tripped and landed on the floor. "I am so sorry!" She quickly stood up. "I wasn't spying or being a stalker!" She explained quickly. "I heard you singing 'Once Upon A December' and I wanted to listen! I'm so sorry for the invasion of privacy please forgive me! This is my first night!!" She fixed her glasses and went silent backing up so the female could walk out. How embarrasing. She thought staring at her toes.

Teddy listened to the older man speak, her face tightening as he mentioned the real world. She guessed it was different for those who weren't raised around mutants and humans equally but she didn't really see the need for the subterfuge. It wasn't something they could hide and she had always found hiding her abilities pointless.
She did her best to smile compassionately but knew that she couldn't pull it off. She hated being here away from his so called 'real world'. She did however try to sooth over her obvious opinions with a smile. "Yes, you did." she answered, though it was partially a lie. She had her answer so there wasn't really a point in correcting it.

Damian jumped as the phone flew past his head. He was a very jumpy creature when it came to normal situations. Someone could come up behind him without his realization and he would practically jump up a wall. When it came to a phone whizzing past his head, his reaction was a bit more normal.
As soon as the phone passed him and struck the wall, he turned to look at it before slowly turning to look back at Eve.
"What...was that about?" he asked, cautiously. He didn't want to dig into something that she didn't want to talk about, but he didn't know what else to say. Logan nodded his head before bringing his hand up to the back of it.
"Sorry if I talked too much. I tend to get carried away. You should hear my lectures," he apologized before turning and walking again.
"But on the same point, I would suggest going out there at least every now and then. I think it's good for you, even if you dislike it."
He paused in his speech, though he kept walking. He turned and looked back to Teddy.
"I don't suppose you'd really mind leaving though. Am I correct?" he asked her, going off a hunch. She had just transferred there that day and had gotten frustrated when she didn't find her room. The first day of transferring to a new school could be stressful, but he found that most people would react nervously rather than in anger. The fact that she had gotten angry showed that there was something she was mad about. Either she didn't want to be there, or she had experienced something that had angered her earlier. Either way, he thought he would ask her.

Luna laughed, "No sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I'm used to people popping out at me now." She held out her hand for the girl to take, "I'm Luna DeLena, shapeshifter dash vampire. Nice to meet you." She had a pleasant smile on her face but she couldn't help but let her thoughts wonder off to what was Cole doing. Probably sleeping stupid.
Eve yelled in frustration and then realized what she did, "OH MY GOD! I'M SO SORRY!" She ran over and checked his head, "Are you okay?! I didn't mean to hit you I swear! It's those stupid reporters that are always calling and trying to pry a story out of me or just make my life hell. It's worse that movie stars cause mines a horror story." She petted Damian's head, forgetting he was human right now, "I'm sorry I really didn't mean to do that."

Victoria shook the womans hand. "Nice to meet you! I'm Victoria Garcia and I'm a normal full born human!" Wait...her brain clicked what Luna said and then what she said and her faced visibly paled. She's just kidding. Vampires and shapeshifters don't exist. She's probably just a genius trying to pull my leg. Yea that's it. Victoria was one for mythology and superstition, but now that she's actually meeting it...she kinda had her doubts.
Like her subconscious right now going 'OHMYGAWD I'M GUNNA DIIIEEEE!! THE HELL KINDA SCHOOL DID THAT F_CK_SS FATHER OF MINE SEND ME TOO?!' or something along those lines.

Luna smiled, "I know we have two other humans around here. And I think a new one as well who is pregnant, I knew her from school." She smiled even bigger and you could see her pointy teeth, "Don't worry, I've already eaten." She looked around, "We're pretty alone up here did you want to go down stairs or something?"

Damian's ears lowered in response to her hand on his head. It was a reaction that he didn't even notice anymore. They didn't press against his head, though like they would when he was angry or afraid, they only lowered slightly so that her hand could fit easier on his head.
"It's alright," he said. "You didn't hit me. And even if you had, I would have forgiven you anyway."
His bright green eyes lifted to look at her after he spoke, thinking about what she had said.
"Reporters? Horror story?" he asked, a bit confused. He didn't know much about her at all and he had couldn't say why reporters would call her. Unless to ask why a human was going to a school filled with mutants...but somehow he doubted that.
Cole let out a loud sigh that could have been taken as a snore as he slept. His bed sheets were tossed into a rather messy bundle to one side of his bed while his blanket was on the other side of the bed. Cole lay on the very edge with one arm hung over the side and one leg teetering on the edge. He was a very eccentric sleeper, never staying in one pose for long. Perhaps it was because he didn't sleep much, so whenever he did, he went into a very deep sleep that would take an atomic bomb to wake him.

That was so comforting. Tori nervously chuckled but she smiled. "Its alright I don't mind." Course she was. Vampires were tricksters weren't they? "I can meet them in the morning." They could read minds too huh? Better stop thinking. "Sure we can go downstairs. You know you're good at singing, I can sing a few songs but I'm kinda off tune since I sing deeper, what're those people called? The opposite of sopranos?"

Teddy smiled, this time a toothy grin, and nodded at the teacher's question. She was actually a bit suprised he had picked up on it. 'Must be a teacher thing,' she decided, running a bit to keep pace with the taller man. "Actually," she started to explain, "Yeah. Though I didn't think it was so obvious."
Teddy's hand clenched slightly at her next words. The thought of her parents were a constant source of anger lately. If they had just listened to her she wouldn't be stranded in the middle of nowhere, miserable and confused.
"I mean, it would be different if I was here of my choice, but my parents decided for me in one of their 'self righteous, your not safe' decisions they seem to pull off so well." she spat out, repressing the urge to actually spit on the ground in contempt.

Logan put his hand up to the side of his head with both his pointer finger and middle finger extended towards his skull. He pulled it away quickly so that his fingers were then pointing towards the ceiling.
"Intuition, I guess," he replied. "I'm pretty good at making conclusions, picking up small hints in things, stuff like that." He gave a small shrug, continuing to walk forward. "Perhaps it comes with loosing the nerve connections that lead to my left eye. The plasticity of the brain still amazes me..."
He paused, both in speech and in walking to glance back at Teddy.
"Sorry, you probably don't care about all that. There's a reason I'm a biology teacher."
He listened to her as she spoke of her parents. He couldn't exactly relate with her feelings since he had never had much of a problem with his own parents. But he did remember what it was like to be a teenager. It hadn't been that long ago, after all.
"Well..." he began, pausing to gather his thoughts. "I can't make any conclusions, since I don't know your parents, but it sounds like they just wanted what was best for you. Even if it wasn't what you wanted, or even what was best for you. Think of it this way, at least they're trying." At this, he stopped and turned to face her directly.
"I know that there are students in this school who's parents didn't give a hoot about them or their lives. They just wanted them and their strange abilities out of the house and out of their lives. Now, I don't want to sound that I'm lecturing, but just think about it. Maybe their intentions were better than you think."

Eve plopped down on Damian's bed and put her head in her hands, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have even thrown it in your area." She listened to him wonder about the reporters and the horror story, "I killed two of my best friends, put one in a coma, and then just before she woke up I got pregnant with her, technically, ex-boyfriend's baby." Laying back on the bed and cocked her head so she could look at Damian better, "So you were born with the ears and tail?"
Luna kinda froze when she realized what she said, "Oh... your a human!" She had her hands up to her face as she walked down the steps, "Well I'm sorry you found out about our kind like this but you are safe." Then she truely processed what the Victoria said, "Well I can show you around the place later too. I'm trying to find Cole, he's a shadow minipulator." She said it like she was his mother and was so proud, really she was just happy to have a friend, "Oh a balto? My mother sang balto, I sing both ranges."
She turned to Victoria, "Do you have a nickname? And I'm sorry if I'm talking too much, I've never really had friends before and this place lets me have friends with people like me. We have one werewolf, me being a vampire at night, and I think we have another animal around here cause I can smell her." She was smiling the whole time, hoping not to scare the human specially with her teeth being pointy.

"Its allright, if people talk more then me it means I don't need to talk much. And yea I have more nicknames than I can count. Vicky and Tori are the two main ones though so your pick." What Luna said next caused not only Victoria's face but her hair color to become a shade lighter. "Werewolves?" The girl merely laughed as thought it was a joke.
Yup, I am going to die. I better be careful to not ut myself around her, or do god knows whatr infront of werwolves...wait... Victoria looked at Luna. "I thought vampires and werewolves didn't get much along?"

Luna cocked her head to the side as they left the stairwell, "Me and Luke got along fine considering. Ohhh your thinking of the movies and stuff. I don't really think that applies here cause he was raised by wolves but he's the only one I know of that can transform into a human." She sat down on a couch in the lobby and rubbed her eyes, "My eyes are tired from not being closed... Tell me.." She looked at the human with great wonder, "Whats sleep like? I've forgotten."
