seth woke up a few hours later in a hospital bed with a really bad headache.
he sat up and saw the same lady he saw the first time, waiting for him to wake up. "good morning," she said, "why did u go and try to leave, when u really should be on bedrest. You still have serious nerve damage to your legs, and we can give you the best medical treatment possible."

"i wanted out of here, i don't like being stuck in a chair for very long, even if it is the best thing for me."

"so, u would rather risk dying then be in a wheelchair for a few days? We've given you some stuff that will cause the nerves in your legs to heal much more quickly than they normally would."

"i thought that i was gonna be stuck in the chair longer than that. By the way, why was Jake taking Red out of here in handcuffs?"

"no-one told you? Red is the reason why all you guys are here. without him we might never have been able to re-capture all of you."

"Red betrayed us"

"i guess you could put it like that, although if he didnt bring you here then you probably would have died from loss of blood and extreme nerve damage"

"can i at least get something to eat, i m starved."

"sure, would you like me to help you into the wheelchair, or would you rather crawl"

"ha ha, very funny"

"I had my suspicions, but the people higher than me denied your existence. I never listen to denials that something exists. Then again, our Intel on you and your people is limited, to practically nonexistent." Red had to give them credit, they were good at hiding.

"You guys are good to have avoided the notice of the School, then again after what I saw in the School down here, that doesn't sound like a hard thing to do. That Eraser that shot us, he was one of the only ones from the South School. He was suppose to be the South School's insurance that we weren't going to take over on them. Now I see how they expected to try that, by killing me and hoping my team wouldn't say anything, or kill them off as well." Red felt betrayed by the Schools, well only the South School.

"Are all the other Schools as horrible as the system down here?"

(You leave this very hard for anyone else to post with, one of the reasons no one reacted to you in the beginning most likely. How did you dodge. Did you dive out of the air duct trying to avoid the attack? What happened to the flash light? Did you drop it? Or even the gun you had? Remember an air duct is tight quarters.)

The creature swung down hard towards the light source, but ended up hitting air duct with a resounding 'thud'. "SCREEE!!!" The creature let loose another screech of protest as the stranger rolled out of (or is that deeper into?) the air duct.

Laurn smiled widely. "I should thank Brad more often. Him and his two brothers." Then she listened intently as Red talked. When he asked his question Laurn sighed. "Yes. Most of them are. There is only one I can think of that are close to being civalized, and that's yours. The South American school is the one that really is the worst, I'm sure." She sighed.

Jake grunted. "I didn't think there was any other demonic schools; then along came Red." He grumbled, before sitting up right. "I remember every week, one of us would be dragged to the labs for testing. We'd always come back bloody, or hurt. Our friends, and siblings died every day. There was never a smile...well a true one. The school wanted to believe we were happy, and we let them believe it. The more naive the prey, the better to kill it." He hissed, slumping down again.

Laurn nodded gravely. "I remember during my time there, I was always shot at; didn't matter what it was. My skin deflected most of the bullets. My friend was drowned because they thought she could swim since she was a Great White Shark Morph." Laurn whispered, turning slightly to see Kolby and Kayla nodding off. Laurn stood slowly, and opened a little cupboard above the bed and got a blacket and two pillows. She set up a sleeping place for the two children and set them to sleep, before sitting again. "I'm guessing you want to know why Jake and I have them, don't you?" She asked Red. Jake grunted, before shoving his hands in his pocket.

"That would be a start, but I think I would rather hear more of these other schools." Red looked at the kids with soft eyes. "I never knew. Not until you took on your own father. I'm sorry for you, the two of you." Red was sincere when he said this, however if it would be taken the right way was a different matter altogether.



Meanwhile. Someplace else in America...
"Hello my son." A figure walked closer to a glass enclosed area. "Well, sorry that your real father couldn't be here, but I had to send him away down south. If I didn't he would have gotten suspicious." He placed a hand on the glass, and a resounding thud and snarl came from the other side.
"Yes, yes. I know. The animal parts of yourself have taken over for the moment, well more like forever. With this though, comes great strength. If only those fools knew the true power of the morphs."
Another snarl and snap came form the other side.
"In time my child. I'll have you hunting those that have forsaken the School and all it's gifts. First I have to make sure you will obey." The man presses a button near the glass, and gas enters into the chamber. At first the snarling and snapping continue, but soon turn to whimpering and finally silence. With another button pressed, the figures speaks again. "Get the stretcher in here. We have had a misshape. Oh and, pull out the chip. Yes, that chip. I think it is about time it gets tested. Oh, and ready the surgical room."

(This last part is story related only. No one knows about these events as of yet, if any of you ever find out.)

The red eyes darted closer and closer, then the soft 'tink tink' of the smoke bomb bouncing off the vents walls alerted the creature that something might be wrong. The orbs stopped for a moment then it hissed as smoke spewed out of the bomb and filled the vent shaft with its pungent contents. Screeches and clicks chased after the fleeing intruder down the corridor.
