Vadász just fell quiet, locking his emotions in again, trying to not get his own mixed up with hers and with what he was sending out to her. He let the warmth flow out of him again, they both needed it if anything. "I may or may not ask. But I will remember that. I wouldn't expect it to since I know I never will answer some questions." He said softly, smiling gently down to her, closing his eyes as he rested his head against the wall. Some things were better left unmentioned....

Cori nodded with a faint smile, relaxing as the warmth enveloped her. She let her eyes shut, asleep within a minute. She leaned lightly against him, head resting against his shoulder as she was completely unaware of what she was doing in her sleep. Just shifting closer to the warmth and a chance of sleeping more.

Vadász blinked a little as he noticed her fall asleep, opening his eyes to look down to her. When her head rested against his shoulder, he blushed faintly, placing a gentle kiss on her head, light enough so she wouldn't wake. Yes, this is all I can do... You're old enough to be her father. And you wouldn't want anything happening right? He sighed lightly, remaining awake to watch over her, glancing in the direction where Eve was. He let the warmth cover her like a blanket, making one appear as he carefully pulled it from the shadows, doing his best not to move since he didn't want to wake her, placing it around her since he had his cloak.

"Aww, so sweet!" a small mouse shifted into a girl(red head), grinning ear to ear.
Cori woke up at that, setting a hand on the ground, or Vadász's hand without realizing it, and pushing herself up straight. "Kaely?" she asked sleepily, blinking to wake herself up.
"Yep! But that's so sweet! Kissing you on the head and the "all you can do and old enough to be her dad and not wanting anything to happen". It's like a book it's so sweet!" she squealed.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"Oh! Just wanted to make sure you hadn't died or anything. But you didn't and you fell in lo-"
"Kaely, just go away."
"Fine, be rude. And just kiss 'im Cori. Probably as good as you think." Kaely winked, dissapearing.
Cori sighed, falling back to where she was leaning against him again. "Why do I know people who do that?" she mumbled, slipping her arm through his without really realizing what she was doing. "Wait, what?" she mumbled, finally realizing what the girl had said and blushing faintly. She hadn't known she had been thinking about it.

Vadász blinked a little noticing her hand on his, looking at the woman that appeared, resting his other hand on his sword, watching her warily. He grimaced, letting go of the hilt with a heavy sigh. He stared at her blankly when she accidentally linked arms, patting her shoulder in comfort, allowing his warmth to run over her. He gently slid his arm out from hers, knowing it must be making her uncomfortable. "Are you alright? If I may, who was that girl?" He asked quietly, knowing that his faint blush was fading fast.

The king only nodded silently in response to everything Roran had said, obviously distracted and upset. With the horses brought to them, he let out a whistle. Almost in immediate response, a horse with a white mane and tail and a golden coat, ran up. The king stroked the creature's neck gently before hopping up onto it's back. "We should hurry and catch up with the rest of the army. Evangeline is waiting for us." He murmured quietly, looking to be in a great state of grief at the moment.

Cori nodded, her gaze dropping as she moved away again, crossing her arms lightly over her stomach. "Fine. She's one of the Rangers, believe it or not. Usually she only interrogates, though she tends to follows us, namely me, around. Especially after..." she trailed off, sighing softly. Why do I keep doing this? Going too far and making us both uncomfortable because he's right. We shouldn't... she thought.
"Why? Because you wanna know if any of that's actually possible normally. I mean, you were made to believe you'd always been in love with hi-" The girl had reappeared where she'd been before, watching Cori and ignoring Vadász for the most part.
"Kaely." Cori said quietly, interupting but her words, and glare, went unnoticed.
"him. And you don't know why he had to go and torture you and all first before messing with your mind."
"Kaely."
"Seriously though. You won't have to leave the Rangers for this one like you did the other. And Cedric gave you everything back imediately. Probably cause it's the first time any of us ever saw you cry-"
"Kaely." Cori snapped, her tone finally catching the shifter's attention.
Kaely froze, realizing what all she'd said aloud. God she'd screwed up, she'd only heard Cori's voice that upset and angry once before. Right before she'd killed the one she'd mentioned. "Sorry..." she mumbled, before teleporting away for good this time.
Cori didn't say anything for a minute, not looking up or facing him. "That would be why I can't stand telepaths. Because they do that, or what she'd said." she murmured, voice perfectly calm with none of the pain in it. She wasn't going to say what the girl had told her telepathically, no point in making him feel guilty. She knew he'd feel bad enough just from feeling what she did.

Leena looked back to the king sadly, she was trying to distract herself from Anira, watching him as he climbed onto the horses back. She nodded, glancing to Hisz, waving to the horse, watching him gallop off towards Mereth again. "Yes, m'lord." She murmured, starting Sebesen at a fast gallop, speaking to Gyors and her mare then. "Akadályok minket lovagol Sebesen , Gyors!" Then they sped off, just hoping now that her friend was fine with them.

He lowered his eyes, knowing his melancholy leaked into the warmth he was giving her, cutting all emotions he was giving off away. He had to straighten himself out first. Then the girl appeared again. He again seemed ready to draw his weapons, not moving since she hadn't done anything yet. But what she was saying.... He seemed to stop, letting go of the hilts of his swords, hiding what he was thinking easily. Besides my age, thats why she's afraid to? He relaxed, pushing himself up, kneeling in front of her, lifting her chin gently with a hand. He wore a small smile, though it held an understanding that he wasn't sure she'd understand at this point. Then he placed his arms around her gently, very carefully letting his warmth flow around her, oh he knew how bad she felt. He just hoped he wasn't making it worse by doing this. "I'm sorry..." He whispered, making sure that nothing of what he felt was leaking into the warmth he was emitting at all.

She didn't move, to pull away or lean closer. "For what?" she asked softly, only now looking up. "She didn't mean you, if that's what you thought... Someone else." she murmured, confused. Why was he appologizing? He shouldn't be, he hadn't done anything. "Do, do you want me to explain what had happened? I'm already remembering it, it won't make it any worse." she asked softly, meekly. She was so hesitant in everything, not wanting to loose what little she had. To make a mistake and send him away.

The King horse simply followed after Gyors and Sebesen, keeping up with the pace easily. He was silent the entire way there, not even uttering a sound when they galloped into the frosty region of Talagand.

Vadász shook his head, slowly letting go of her, though he did leave his hands resting on her upper arms. "I know she didn't mean me. There are other reasons as to why. My own reasons." He murmured, brushing the hair from her face very gently. He tilted his head in the slightest, violet eyes resting on her. "If you wish. I won't make you one way or another." He said quietly, a gentle, warm smile on his lips. He leaned close to her ear then, sensing her hesitancy and nervousness. "It's alright, I'm not going to go anywhere." He whispered, moving back to where he had been, pausing midway to place a kiss on her forehead, then moving back to how he had been sitting before.

Cori nodded slightly, eyes downcast again. She was right. More like a father. Good job Cori, good job. Just a kid who knows nothing. she thought, sighing softly. She held her hands in her lap, absently tracing a scar on the back of her hand. It looked as though it'd resulted from someone stabbing a knife and twisting it either way, one of few she'd given herself.

She glanced outside towards where Eve had gone, her gaze dropping after a second. She wanted to talk to her, to be able to tell her anything and beg advice from her like she had when she was little. She wanted her friend back, the one who wasn't worried about saving everyone. The one she'd grown up with.

Eve had trained for a while, but she was soon distracted by the approaching death of Anira and the army's near arrival to actually stay focused. Now, the princess only stood there in the snow, staring out at the mountains ahead of her while the wind howled around her, tugging at her free hair, teasing it this way and that.

Vadász knew he wasn't helping her any, bowing his head as he gave a sad chuckle, getting up, having to close off the warmth he emitted for her. He leaned against the doorway, staring out at the snow, a wind blowing his own back. He was doing his best to not leak anything to her, he just hoped he was succeeding. He had noticed her tracing the scar, glancing over to her, though his eyes were sad, praying none of the pain he held locked away was showing. He felt the sadness flowing out of her, wishing he had some well of happiness he could pull forth to help her. He had to turn his eyes away, realizing the worry he had been allowing to flow from him, the longing... He bottled everything up, placing a hand over the wound on his arm, knowing it would start to bleed again. "Am I supposed to be happy? When all I ever wanted, it comes with a price..." He sang softly, bowing his head again. Dammit. He returned to that time anyways.

He had to force himself to stare at the floor, his free hand clenching into a fist, his knuckles turning white as he fought to not think in such ways. Let it go Vadász. Just let it go, she won't turn out that way. Things aren't that way now... He felt his charm grow warm against his chest as it glowed, having to hold the tears in his eyes, brushing his hair aside, in reality wiping the tears away. He turned his eyes to her once more, walking over to sit down next to her, placing an arm around her shoulders, his other hand resting on hers. He had to move on from that time. He then rested his head against her shoulder, unable to even summon a smile for her, nothing. At this point, only a physical warmth was all he could give to her, and try to not let her feel anything of his own.

Cori looked up as she heard him sing, leaning against him as he sat down again. "Still trying to make me feel better. Thank you." she murmured, with a faint smile. "What did I remind you of?" she asked softly, not sure if he'd tell her or not. She wouldn't hold it against him, but she could see he was as, if not more, miserable than she was. She hated it, not being able to help...
