Hikakaru shouted out another killing curse at Richard. "Dont you see? he will let them kill us. He is a coward, come to our side and the lord will reward you greatly!" He shouted at the remaining followers of Richard hoping they will see some sense since Richard just said to Galen 'why dont you just kill us' which showed great cowardice.
James glared at Richard. "Your such a coward!"He shouted right before he was confunded. At this point james was just stunning the death eaters that came there way. He barely missed a killing curse aimed at his head by inchess as he disarmed the attacker.

Richard growled at the killing curse but once again it was blocked by something else. This time it was his own fear. In his fear he had dodged without even realizing it. "So I am a coward... Would a coward ever do this?" At this he pointed his wand at Galen and shouted "nice try but I can not be so easily bested by a Confundus spell. I've been training for this moment for quite some time. And now... The leader of the resistance will fall by my hand. Adava Kedavra!" At this the spell once again shot its green sparks, but this time to Galen.
"What?" Was all Galen managed to say before something flew towards her. "Green sparks... There's only one thing that Death Eaters use that has green sparks and that's the killing curse. Damn it. If I dodge it someone behind me will get hit but if I don't my daughter will lose her mother. What to do. Wait... Hm... Intent. This spell is all about intent. He's just wanting to prove a point. He doesn't intend to actually kill me, does he?" While in deep thought the green sparks came dangerously close to her "I guess I have no choice but to fall for the Resistance's sake." The green sparks danced towards her and, surprisingly felt only warm. Pain was not within these sparks, only an instant death...
((Hm, if I finish this it doesn't feel right so I'm going to be very evil and do a cliffhanger.))

Ryu noticed flashing lights in the distance. "What the hell?" he said. He hopped on his broom and raced for the gate. He flew through the gate and sped towards Hogsmeade. He stoped outside the village and peered around the corner to find Death Eaters fighting. Huh? Aren't they on the same side? he thoguht to himself. Then he saw one get hit be green sparks and fall to the ground. He racked his brain and thought about waht he should do, should he call for help? He didn't know. He could only watch.

((did Galen get hit by the sparks or has it not hit her yet? If it hasnt hit her yet ill change my post a bit. ))
"NO!" Shouted James running over to Galen. But it was to late. She was on the floor dead. "Dont leave her! your daughter needs you!"Shouted James. He looked back at Richard and a sudden rage engulfed him. Now Mina would have to go through the same thing he went through as a child, not having parents at all. Well he didnt know if she had a father or not but still, she just lost a mother. He stood up and charged Richard shouting "Avada Kedavra!" with every intent to kill Richard behind it. Nothing would stop this spell. If a death eater got away, James would fire another and would keep fireing the until Richard was dead. He knew very well that this was a death eaters spell and he was not a death eater, but just a mere Ravenclaw at hogwarts fighting for the resistance but he did not care at this moment.

((Trust me, she knew what she was doing. But here goes everything, including her ruse... Like she says, it's all about intent!))
Richard gasped as he saw Galen fall, thinking it was far too simple. Then he saw the green sparks flying towards him, only to hear a scream.
"James... Don't go through with this, it's not worth it. Even to protect my ruse." Galen said as she brushed a few scorch marks off her robes.
"What the hell?" Richard said as he watched Galen move once more, his one accomplishment in this whole battle trumped as if it were nothing.
"Oh it's quite simple. That spell, along with all the other Unforgivable Curses, is all about intent. Seeing as you didn't actually intend to kill me it allowed me to fake my own falling. That is until James was convinced of your guilt." Galen said as she stood, casting a quick barrier around Richard to block the Adavra Kedavra quickly before it hit him. "Nothing is worth him getting sent to Azkaban for. Even if it would have been filled with killing intent I still would have taken the fall. Do you want to know why?" She waited for a nod from Richard, who abliged her "Here's the deal, I'm an honorable witch. I would gladly die twenty times over if it meant ending the war and insuring that Hogwarts would be safe. My daughter still would have her father to look after her but he doesn't know I'm a witch. She'd have to hide her powers until she was of age to move out. But even that would be preferable to seeing the Death Eaters win this war." At this she whistled to summon her owl and wrote a quick note to the Ministry of Magic before any Aurors would show up or anything of that matter to explain a few things. "James, remember what I said before. Think before you act."

James was pretty pissed at Galen. He gave her an angry glare and turned away. "I know perfectly well what im doing. If killing this man means saving a thousand, then I see that killing him would do way more good for this world. I dont care if im sent to azkaban. If Im saving people in the process, it will be worth it. I just channeled may anger through the spell but I still knew what i was doing." Said James. He had the attitude of kill one death eater and save a thousand stuck in his head. He didnt like killing but he felt like it had to be done with the death eaters. James figured Galen would not agree with this but he didnt care.

Galen nodded and looked down as she responded "I understand your anger and it is justified. However, I am not the enemy here. I wanted to help prove a point. That is all. Our strategy still remains to create discention in the ranks. And it would not save a thousand, maybe three but never a thousand. They are not the trouble. It is their leader that causes the majority of the suffering and pain that we have seen." Galen stopped her lecture and said "There's something I heard you say. I need you to say that again. I need you to explain what you meant by 'don't leave her.'" She looked at his back "This isn't about you being mad at me, is it? You lost your parents to this war... Didn't you?" As soon as she said this she understood why he got so mad at Richard and then at her. "That's what you are so intent about. It is saving others from sharing your fate as an orphan of this war."
Richard growled as he desired more than anything to kill someone. Anyone to prove his superiority. "I have all the intent to kill now... What will you do. Adavra Kedavra..." This time, however, he was aiming at the one soul that had caused all his trouble, James.
((Mmph, interesting little revelation on Galen's side, no?))

James nodded at Galen and was about to say something when he was interrupted by a killing curse from Richard. He quickly shouted "Protego!" He was holding it back from him for the time being but it was starting to push his shield back.
Hikakaru's memories of his parents came back to him and he relized that James was alone because he left. He only had one goal though so he would not change sides till he achieved it. He realized James shield charm wouldnt hold much longer so silently in his head he created a shield in front of James shield that was so powerful, it reflected the Avada kedavra right back at Richard.

((My charecter knows about the fight, so he's gonna send his patronus to the school to ask for help. How about your charecter finds the patronus?))
This is insane! he thought to himself. I'm calling for help! He summoned a happy memory and said, "Expecto Patronum." A silvery eagle rushed from his wand and flew towards the school. I hope someone gets it in time!

Richard gasped as his Killing Curse was reflected back at him at full strength. "Damn it all to hell..." He said as he glared at the reflected green sparks that spelled his end. "So much for loyalty of the Death Eaterrs... A Protego is too weak and that's all I know shield spell wise. Damn it all." He felt the heat of his own intent approaching him...

Ryu figured out what to do. He pointed his wand at his robes and there clor changed to pure black. He put the hood up and conjured up a mask similar to the ones the Death Eaters use. He put the mask on and wlaked into the street. "What's going on here?" he called.
