Joshua smiled at her gently and said,"Sorry miss but I don't have girls put more clothes on if I'm going to eat them. Now if you'd be so kind as to follow me." I began to walk up to the manor through the gentle rain hoping Mr. Spyridon didn't decide to make another appearance.

She followed him up to the door, stopping only to pick up her book. She looked suprised when she saw it, but then suddenly remembered that she had dropped it. She put inside the jacket to keep it from getting any more water damage, as she hurried to catch up with him.
[And most peopld woudl think that she would be too young to be reading about quatum physics. lol.]

Walking inside the manor I pulled a dry towel out of my pack and held it out for the young woman. "Sorry for not introducing myself miss, my name is Joshua Shield, and I am what most would call a lycan or werewolf for simpler terms." I took a bow still holding the towel and grinning.

She shrugged off the coat as she entered the mansion. "I'm.. um... Bethany Tiano..." she replied shyly as she took the towel from him. She started drying off the book first, as if it was more important than her own well being. "A... lycan?" she asked worriedly. "I've never met a lycan before..."

I smiled and took the coat from the young woman. "What a coincidence I've never met a werewolf before either. Well anyway it's a pleasure to meet you Miss Bethany Tiano." I looked around wondering where the hostess of the manor was. "I would offer you a seat in the living room but I myself have not been granted access beyond this point, so the most I can offer you is the wall to lean on I'm afraid."

"Th-that's alright... I... probalby shouldn't be here anyways... I... was just curious. I don't think anyone would want me here anyways..." she said as she set the book on the small table in the foyer. She then carefully dried off her face and arms. "But thank you for letting me use your coat and towel, Mr. Shield..." she handed him back the towel before picking her book back up, holding it tightly to her chest. "I really should just go home..." Bethany said, staring out into the rain. She did not want to go back out into the rain either, from the look on her face...

I came in from the rain, my form fully exposed and my eyes no longer visible. I seemed...embarrassed somehow. I made my way over to the girl and bowed my head, "I'm terribly sorry for that, I don't know what came over myself, my name is Haimon Spyridon." I said sincerely.

Bethany looked at the Wraith enter the foryer. Her eyes went wide and she back up until her back hit the wall. She looked like she wanted to scream again as she clutched the book so hard her knuckles turned white.

I looked at Mr. Spyridon as he entered and saw that Bethany reacted as I thought she might. "It's ok Bethany he may look evil but deep deep inside like all things he is good." I whispered to her. "Besides it's just a wraiths nature to pull pranks or try to scare humans."

Bethany hesitantly nodded. "Y-you can call me B-Beth, Mr. Shield. OTher people do..." she said in a weak whisper. She didn't look like she was going to scream again anymore, at least. But She had yet to pull herself off of the wall, however. Or let go of the book on Quantum Physics.

I smiled at her as I leaned toward her and said,"Well Beth than perhaps you may call me Josh, the friends I do have call me that." I looked over to Mr. Spyridon and whispered to her, "Besides I don't think Mr. Spyridon has been a wratih long enough to be of the dark kind yet." I pulled away from her and began to rummage through my pack looking for something.

Beth gave a tiny nervous little laugh as she glanced back at the wraith. She finally got up a bit of courage and set her book back down on the tiny table. She held her hand out to the Wraith, and then suddenly remembered that as a human, she didn't want to be touched by one. It was just a bad idea in general if you wanted to stay alive. She quickly dropped the hand. "Mr. Spyridon, that was a... interesting prank you pulled. I thought for sure I was going to die at the hands of a Reaper. It was.. um... quite convincing...." she replied, her voice getting less shakey as she talked.

I watched as Josh calmed Beth down and she decided to give me a chance, "I'm terribly sorry, I just couldn't help myself, I don't know what came over me. Please, call me Haimon." I said.

Beth gave Haimon a weak smile as she nodded her head. "Okay... Haimon then." She shivered a little and gave a small, dainty sneeze. "I... should be getting home. My clothes are drenched and I'm going to get sick..." she said to both of them, looking at the ground. "Mr. Shield, I'm sorry that it appears that no one is home... but if you need someplace to stay... I have a couple of spare rooms..." she hesitantly offered.
