Sairha Abruptly realizing that she probably looked like a fool looked back down, but continued to grin foolishly. Looking to Yume and Aelo she sheepishly laughed. "Sorry, I haven't been out in the rain in a long time. I really do enjoy it." Glancing around happily as the rain began to fall harder she giggled and covered her mouth almost immediatly. An astonished look crossed her face and she stared off for a moment. "I haven't giggled like that in years..." She mummbled softly.

Midnight Yume "Don't you like rain... er..." Yume smiled at Aelo and gave him her umbrella. "What's your name?" Sweatdrop-face. "You can have my umbrella", she added with a wink, "I don't mind rain, really, but I just caught a cold for a couple of days ago and it's NOT fun to be sick again." Skylar trotted up to Yume and pawed at her leg, " I hope you feel better, colds aren't fun to have when your nose gets all runny." the pup remarked wiggling his nose.

A tropical bird floes in, looking like a drowned rat in the rain. It squawks loudly before dropping a package with a small parachute down. Drisana Hi everyone, I have some good news! I'm going to be heading home soon, and I'm bringing someone with me. I met another Tala here named EspĂrito. He's agreed to return with me, for several reasons. He's very anxious to meet everyone. I'm teaching him bits of English so everyone can talk to him. Oh, and I sent some stuff ahead to all of you. There's an Anthology of Twentieth-Century Brazilian Poetry for Ovid, some feathers for the pups (they're really colorful, so they might be fun to braid into their hair!), fresh amazonian fruit for everyone, and a special suprise for Remus. I found this egg deep in the Amazon rainforest. Take good care of it. ^_~ There, that should help me out a bit. I have some important things to carry back. See you all soon! Love, Drisana

"You can have my umbrella", she added with a wink, "I don't mind rain, really, but I just caught a cold for a couple of days ago and it's NOT fun to be sick again." Aelo smiled at Yume and accepted the umbrella gratefully, "Thanks! Now my fur wont get all wet," he said with a grin. "The rain is all right I guess, but the sunshine tops it anyday. My name is Aelo by the way. Yours?" He nudged closer to her, his soft bur brushing against her slightly. "You better not get sick again," he added, as he shared the cover of the umbrella.

"Yes, I agree with you, and I definitely feel better, thanks. I haven't seen you before - to tell the truth, I haven't seen so many Talas, more likely their owners - so would you like to tell me your name?" She looked with interest at the dark red pup and its Pony Guide. "That's your Guide?" she asked him. "Cute..." "Yeah, thanks", she smiled towards Aelo as well. "My name is Yume. Nice to meet you. Yes, I quite agree, but it's quite nice to hide under an umbrella or be inside a house when it's raining, isn't it? All I wish when it's autumn and it's evening, is that it will start to rain. What do you wish during a cold autumn evening and you're inside a cosy and warm house?"

Serenity burst out of some ground cover and ran about wildly in circles, giggling over the fact that it was raining! Upon seeing rain for the first time, Serenity decided she loved it. Tripping on a package lying out in the middle of the Meadow for no apparent reason, she fell on her back and blinked up at the falling raindrops for a moment.
"What's that, sweety?" Miko said, padding over to her daughter. The evolved Tala didn't mind the rain, but it made the whole Meadow smell like wet dog.
Serenity bounced up and sniffed at the package, pawing it open.
"It's from Dris!" Miko proclaimed happily.
Losing interest in the package, Serenity bumbled off to find some other pups to play with. Miko read the note, grinning.
"I hope she'll be back soon, it's too quiet around here."
At a screech from Fred as the bird peeked her head out from under a tree, Miko chuckled. That bird hated the rain.
"Well, almost."

Willow looked up at the sky as the rain fell. It was her first time seeing rain and she decided she liked it well enough.
She stuck out her tounge to catch a few drops.
Ahhh, this was the life!

Fluttering his wings to rid them of some of the glistening droplets descending from the sky, Ovid eyed the dimmed meadow, grass sodden and trees shivering in the wind. Having heard of Drisana's letter, the poetry-mad tala was excited doubly at the prospect of the poems and his friend's return. And another tala! What wonders would this new personality bring to their quiet corner of the world.
Breaking from his reverie at the sight of the others, the panda toned talaye grinned, making his way towards the bunch with a friendly nod and quick gait.

But she is quite fun to play with and chase." The pup smiled mischievously. Turning around a bit to look at the meadow, Skylar saw Serenity and eagerly padded over to her.

Serenity, after flopping down and staring into the rain some more, found another burst of energy and bounced up, noticing Skylar.
"Kra! Re ya?" {Hi! What're you doin'?} She asked Skylar, her tail waving back and forth behind her, as if trying to avoid the raindrops. "Okah!" {I like the rain!}
Fred let out a screech from under a tree nearby, glaring at Serenity and Skylar. Beside the fact she hated rain, she hated seeing anyone out in it. It was as if she thought they'd be eaten up by the rain. Serenity rolled her eyes and waved to Skylar to follow her, and padded over under the tree by Fred.

Sirius padded into the meadow wearily. DS had been working him more than he was used to, and while he was happy to do most of it, having to bring a complaining son along didn't make his tasks any simpler. "He's been this way ever since... ever since when? Too long." He sighed, and caught sight of a large package in the middle of the meadow. "It seems Dris-chan is having a good time," he mused as he scanned the letter, then choked on his words. "Another TALA? Did... has Dris... did she?" Stuttering over his thoughts, he swayed on his feet, then plopped on the grass tiredly. "So much is happening. An egg?" Frowning slightly, he reread the part about the package. "Well, that should cheer Remus up a bit." He grinned, and closed the letter quietly. "Thanks Imouto."

"Sirry!" Miko cried happily, brushing her body against his. She'd missed her mate awfully, and hated how both their Mamas kept them away from each other. After finally snuffing him over and assuring herself that he was all in one piece, she curled up beside him, looking over the letter once more.
"Seems Remus is getting a gift," She said with a large grin, nuzzling her snout against his. It was good, Remus had been so moody lately. Her son was beginning to worry her, unlike her carefree daughter. Serenity had gone off with her little pup friend, so Miko didn't have to worry about the rambuncious child.

"Wha... Miko!" Sirius smiled widely, all traces of weariness leaving him instantly. He'd only come to check on things, but having his love there was more than he'd hoped for. "Where have you been? It's been far too long, my love." Feeling rejuvenated, he pounced Miko playfully.
"Ah, yes... and I'm glad. Hopefully that will be enough to cheer him up. But I don't know why he's so upset anymore. I thought he had gotten over his feelings of doubt, but..." He sighed. Remus was still keeping to himself at home, and now he even refused to come to the garden. "I think he's still feeling unwanted, but I don't know why." Shaking his head sadly, he looked up at Miko with a strange smile. "But it seems Dris is happy. VERY happy."

Miko gave a little giggle, feeling much better now that Sirry was here. She'd felt very empty and exhausted lately, now she knew why. Sirius had been away far too long.
"Oh, Lori has been at school lately, and so I've been left at home to take care of Serenity. Who knows what she'd get into, with all those children around!" Miko remembered the first day of school, when her daughter had snuck into the Spanish classroom and scared the teacher half to death when she saw a dog-like thing eating her lunch. Lori had managed to explain it off as a dog sneaking in from the downstairs doors, but the room had been locked up, and the window to the second story classroom open.
"I hope Remus will be okay." The somber thought made the slight smile always around her muzzle falter, and turn to a frown. "Though it is nice Dris is having so much fun. "
