Hattie sat in the Cell as Cale was brought in. It was just the two of them. All of the other Crew members of both ships were being interrogated. Hunter had been taken away to some Laboratory, no doubt and Hattie was sat with her face on the cool steel wall, using the cold to try and take the swelling out of her eye from where the commander had punched her. Her wrists were raw from trying to get out of the thick metal cuffs and the crusted blood was becoming itchy.
"You were stupid to believe them, Hattalia." She knew he was trying to push her buttons. She simply kept her back to him, ignoring him. He leaned casually against the wall and just stared at her. "Seriously. You knew it was all a setup. You're one of the most wanted criminals in the Black and yet here you are." Hattie glared, one eyed, at the wall across from her, trying to keep her anger in check. They had taken her comm, but thankfully, if it any of their Comms were tampered with, all data would be trashed instantly. She felt guilty, knowing she might not see Eric again.

Not too long later a few guards walked up to Hattie and Cale's cell, leading Tu, who was walking with her usual clipped stepped, her chin held high, and with a look that dared any of the guards to manhandle her. One of them already bore claw marks down the side of his face, although it wasn't clear whether they were from her or not.
They opened the cell and she stepped in giving Hattie a nod of greeting before she took a seat. She glanced at Cale, "So you the dumbass that got caught in the first place?"

Laurel Talbot Her eyes full of tears, Laurel threw her arms around Ruby, "Oh, Auntie, I've missed you so!" Ruby patted Laurel's back, making a soft cooing noise as she did so. "Missed you too, Laurel-tree, sugar."

Cale glared at her and went back to brooding with his arms crossed against the hall. Hattie barely took recognition to Tu's nodded in her direction. Her eye was too swollen and she was feeling guilty enough about her capture and her crew.
"Stop pouting, would you? It's just sad." Cale snapped at his sister. "Seriously, you should..." Before he could finish, Hattie was on him, punching him hard in the face and kicking him equally as hard in the nuts. "Just shut up, Cale! I'mma about tired of your selfish s**t!" She screamed at him. "I'm about to be married, you a**! I have a life beyond just this! I risked my life and my love to come save your stupid a**, so shut the ******** up and be grateful!" She kicked him once more and went back to her bench.

Outside, the Star's Light had been driven into a proverbial corner, and was fighting off boarding ships, before it took a few too many ion bursts, and floated dead.
Inside the next fifteen minutes, two more guards hauled an unconscious and severely beaten Eric into Tu and Hattie's cell, and threw him unceremoniously to the floor, where he laid, unmoving.

Hattie was on the floor in moments and on her knees beside Eric. She touched his face softly, finding it awkward because of the cuffs and began taking a survey of any damage. After her fight with Cale, she was feeling angry and worn. "You dumbass..." She said softly, keeping any other emotions in check. "Why do you keep coming after me? I'mma big girl." Her voice was almost too faint to hear.

(Moving this from Osis thread to Space, just to keep things clear for other folk....other folk that mostly don't exist, but oh well.)
Tu glanced down at both Cale and Hattie and shook her head. "Wasting your energy fighting amongst yourselves won't get us out of this mess. It will just add bruises on your bruises." She leaned against the cell wall, not wanting to sit down and rumple the clean lines of her black clothes.
She raised an eyebrow as Eric was thrown in, and tried not to chuckle at the irony of all the captains in a cage. She walked over to Eric and Hattie and crouched down, checking his vitals to make sure he was all right, and also looking for any signs of major injuries. Her gray eyes briefly nailed into the guards before they left. She let out a brief sigh. "Syx doesn't hate cops because she's never been at their mercy."
"You'll both be fine, Hattie." She said in an odd attempt at comfort.

Ruby thought about that for a moment. "I suppose we could have a special password. That'd do it, right?" She gently tried to unwind Laurels arms from her to lessen the squeezing effect that was making it difficult to breathe.

"She can know how I think, sugar, but she doesn't know all the details of what I know, I think." Ruby paused a moment trying to analyze her sentence but abandoned it with a shrug. "All right, sug, that'd work. What's the name?"
