Could I get some help with my character profile? I've done a good bit of work on it already, but there are a few points on which I'm pretty vague.

Why don't you post it in the approval thread and I'll take a look?

Err, I haven't written the whole thing up quite yet. I will when it is, but I was hoping to iron a few things out beforehand.

Age and history. I'm trying to anchor my character's history and that of her clan into the storyline. Also, I'm trying to figure out what the requirements would be for her clan abilities. I think I may have what I need now, though.
Edit: I've finished my rough draft for her clan. If the techniques are too much, Chiri, Kiri, and Shindou can go--those are remainders from when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the clan.
Edit Edit: My profile's also up now. I'd really appreciate feedback.

I'd personally recommend joining an already existing clan. It gives you a good starting point if you are linked to other characters.

Hmm... I'll think about it, but I'd have to come up with a different history--or at least make major changes to it. Besides, I've never really cared for doing things the "easy way". razz
I'll give it some thought. In the mean time, how is the work I've submitted so far?

It's not about being easy. IF you want difficulty theres plenty of fighting and training to do. It's just that most people that join up and make their own clans tend to leave.
I'm not sure I don't approve the clans I just know you can only make four techniques.

I had a few extra techniques in there that I had written down while I was still in the brainstorming phase. I fixed that now, so the clan's techniques should be more cohesive.
Also, I'm FAR too much of an RP addict to leave. Trust me, I'll be around for a while. wink

My suggestion would be, keeping the background you created in the approval thread for your character. However, I think you can tie all that background in with the Tenmoki Family. Baylu hasn't explored any further than the immediate family in that clan and the way your character utilizes chakra with expertise control, the Tenmoki family would be a great clan to be a part of. Then your character would have two wonderful mentors. You could also keep the two techniques I've approved for the character and just explain to Baylu that you'd like your character to invent those.

Kawaii no jutsu [Cuteness Technique] The user of this technique has perfected pulling at people's heart strings by using cute looks and adorable faces. They use their genjutsu to accent cute features such as watery eyes, pouty lips, sakura pinks cheeks and soft baby like giggles. It's a combination of sight and sound that allows the user to put on that adorable act in order to get what they want. Cp Cost: 10 + 2 per holding post Damage: None. Requirement: Charisma 20 ranks, Genjutsu 15 ranks Seals: Serpent, Tiger, Ram, Dog Avoid: Sense Special: + Intel Mod to Persuade, Seduce, and Lie Training I Study people to see what makes a person 'cute.' Although I dont have the stats for it, after the time skip would the hair requirement be fulfilled?
Hari Jizo (Needle Guardian)(not invented) The user causes their long, spiky hair to wrap around him and harden, in a manner similar to a hedgehog's or porcupine's quills, defending against any physical attacks. This is effective as a method for forcing someone away, or stopping a powerful strike. Cp cost: 60 + 20 per holding. Damage: 30 to 50 + Chakra Mod + 1 per 10 ranks Ninjtutsu Requirements: Ninjutsu 60, Control 30, Long Hair [Two RP Years to Grow Out.] Special: Cannot Move when when using technique. User takes 1/4 damage for blocking instead of 1/2. Cannot block block most ninjutsus. + Chakra Mod to escape when escaping grapples or being tied up. Counter: Don't Touch Owner: Tategami Karite

It depends on the customization. If you are adding something as simply as a hand grip then of course. If you are cutting sections out for speed purposes yes. Stuff like that. It just has to be realistic to a wooden weapon. Nothing like hoking an end to make more powerful.
