Isora rolled his eyes then snapped his fingers in front of Amon's nose, trying to draw the wolf back from the fantasy land he had wandered into.
"Focus love, focus," he said, torn between amusement and exasperation.

"I said focus!" Isora informed his mate, reaching up to gently tweak one of the wolf's ears. "You wandered off to lalaland for a little while there."

(( Sorry about the long wait, li ))
Isora had to laugh.
"Do I always win?" he asked curiously, a smile playing about his lips. "I don't think so. I'd say only about 75% of the time."
Then he grinned and turned around, finishing stacking the rest of their groceries on the conveyor belt then moving up to stand in front of the cashier.
"Stocking up, sir?" the woman asked politely with a warm smile.
Isora chuckled and simply replied, "I have 4 sons."

"You still win more then me, but I know where I win most of my 25%" Amon said with a wink and a playful grin. Amon watches as the cashier rings up the groceries "this is going to be one big bill is in it?"

The woman behind the counter heard what Amon said and smiled to herself but said nothing, watching while Isora elbowed the wolf in the ribs.
"Yes, it does appear that way, sir," she chirped, still polite. And when she finally finished ringing everything up, she turned the monitor so the anthro couple could see how much they owed. She didn't think her cheery voice would be proper given the sheer size of the amount due.
"Good lord! Big bill indeed." @_@;;

Amon grunted when he was elbowed by his mate, shifting his eyes to look at the amount due grunted again, heaving a sigh Amon hands Isora his check book then moves past his mate whispering "I'll let you handle this love just make sure I sign it mmm'kay?"

Isora pouted at the check book then sighed and tore out the next blank check.
"You could just as easily have taken care of this," he said, sticking his tongue out at his mate before he ripped out the next blank check and passed it to the cashier so she could slide it through the little machine which would fill it out automatically.
When he got it back, he passed it to Amon to sign.

Amon raised an eyebrow and smiled "That it would love! But it's so much fun seeing you pout, not to mention how cute it makes you look whenever you stick your tonge out at me!" Amon signed the check and handed back to the cashier, then kissed his mates cheek.

Isora narrowed his eyes at his mate but couldn't hold the stern expression for long before he broke out into a grin and hugged Amon tight.
