I think you should be able to have either a boy or a girl as your kid.
I also have an idea for a festival... the Changing Trees Festival! Basically, it would happen in the fall, and you would get to look at the beautiful trees...
I suppose it could work with the trees blossoming in the spring, too.

i think if we could...be able to go to a city like in gba third one*punches self on not rembering the name* where they could have those buildings where you could go on a date with or by yourself....or something like that(theater, aquarim,and so on)

Akina-Girl Maiden of Night Okay, I have a new idea for a festival/mini game kind of thing. How about a scavenger hunt? And the prize could be a really rare item that could be worth a lot or it could improve friendship between a townsperson and the player. isnt that pretty much the easter egg hunt festival from the N64 game? Hm, now that I think about it, it sort of sounds similar. Oh well. It's still a good idea.

The idea on having either a boy or a girl has already been suggested, but the festival you mentioned hasn't been suggested, and it seems like an interesting sort of festival. It would probably only a small festival. But still an interesting one.

what pissed me off about HMWL and HMAWL, is the fact they took the best crop field away in AWL ;-; That was so mean, They should give it back.
Also, maybe have the same type of bell system for the chickens? I love taking them out, but I hate having to take them out/put them back in one by one.

Didn't they have something like that in the original Harvest Moon game? It still would be a good idea though. And we should have the dog able to round up the cows by barking like in STH. I really don't like having to push them all out of the barn and then back in.

It especially makes me angry if I can't push it in at all, like, it'll go in a different direction than I'm trying to push it.

Indeed, perhaps have more to do with your dog as well, you should be able to brush it, bath it, take it for walks even ^^ and let it meet a female dog ;o I want some baby puppies xP
They should bring back the horse/dog races.(I havent been playing the GC versions very long, but from what I can see they dont have any)
