Aiko smiled a little and drew his knees up, wrapping his bandaged arms around them. "Oh, what kind of demon was he?" he asked as he leaned his chin on his knees.

"He was an earth demon I think. I never thought you ask, and he never cared to talk about it. He was a mean soul." Cain told him as he looked away.

Aiko nodded, he hoped he never became as cruel as some demons, though he knew he would. "Most demons are." he said.

"Why is that?" Cain asked in interest. He alway thought Atton was mean because he was a grumpy old man.

"Who knows." Aiko said with a shrug, it seemed to be a characteristic of much of the species, at least those he had met outside his own tribe.

"You know, for years I've wanted to change back to what I was before, but now. I'm too scared to even try." He told Aiko. Cain isn't the type to open up, but Aiko reminded him of an old friend.

Aiko listened closely to Cain before responding. "If you don't mind me asking what were you before?" he asked.

I was with a hunting party, we here after a demon who was believed to be in our area back in America... it was me, my brothers and my father, even my uncle and his sons went with us to kill the demon. Atton slaughter all of them and left me alive... He told me I had something to learn. He took my soul and placed it in the body of this demon wolf." Cain spoke softly, this wasn't something he told everybody, but it felt good to tell someone.

Aiko frowned a little, that was very cruel for the demon to do. "Wow...I'm not sure if you could change back even if you wanted to though, unless you have your body." he said, sad to say it.

Fay listened silently. He knew nothing about the subject the two were talking about. He had lift a sheltered life, normally it was taboo just to talk about evil, his people were fearful that it would infect the priests.

Aiko shrugged and smiled. "You don't now so I guess it doesnt really matter." he said, he knew there was alot of prejudice around but if people changed than he had no problems with them.

Fay moved to lie on the bed, resting on his stomach. He was not needed in this conversation, something he was thankful for.
