Sai walked over to Ladon and rubbed his neck.

Ladon opened his, or her, mouth, and showed Sai his/her teeth, gums, tongue, and everything else that was in it. No sign of meat could be seen anywhere.

"Ladon's fangs are fairly short to be a male dragon, a fully grown dragon's
teeth can get up to 3 ft long. Although, they conceal it making it look less
threatening. However, the big money maker is the green gem attached to
the top of the mouth. Yep -- He's a... She."
Patting Ladon in the head once again.
"Roman is so irresponsible."

Ladon grinned, showing Sai her teeth. (going to have to get used to that) Alli smiled, and looked around. "Any reporters better leave now!" She said, before several flashes went off around them. "Ugh..." She hung her head.

Sai pulled the cameras from their hands.
"This is why I hate the big apple. Everyone wants a scoop."
Sai altered the light path in the area to make them seem invisible.
Although, it got quite dark at the same time.
"Anyway, be careful with Ladon, she'll just get bigger and bigger.
And... lay eggs... make sure you don't leave one around."

Alli sighed, and looked at Ladon. She sat down in the snow next to the dragon, and looked into her mouth. "Weird..." She muttered, looking at the jewel. "So I guess that means I can't just let her stay here in Central Park." she sighed. "I'm going to have to find a big apartment..."

Sai thought for a moment...
"Ladon could hide at my island if she wants. For a dragon her size,
it should only take her 15 minutes to fly there. Attach a communicator
to her and you can call her whenever you want!"

Ladon looked at Sai, a grin upon her face. "Looks like she likes that idea." Alli smiled, and pet Ladon absently. "So you're going back to your island." She looked at Sai. "Island? Since when do you have an island?"

"Well, no, I'm not going back -- yet. I just suggested she stay there,
it's pretty deserted most times of the year, and it's naturally warm,
dragons really hate the cold, that's why Ladon keeps moving around.
I've also planted a lot of seasonal fruits that don't require a lot of
maintenance, Ladon could feed itself if she wanted to."
Sai looked at Alli's confused face.
"Umm... about the islands... I needed some private space."
Sai pulled out a map from his pocket.
"It's right here, this chain of islands. They're somewhat close to Hawaii
but I own the land rights there."
[Ugh, I better get back to work.]
"Anyway, feel free to bring Ladon there, I have to check on some
things. I'll see you later."

Alli smiled, and waved to Sai. "Maybe I'll see you there!" She looked at Kay-dash. "Well, I guess we could go check out the islands... haven't been to a beach in..." She thought back. "Ten years?"
