He smiles and says "worry not, I'll not allow any to harm you." he gives her a kiss, then leads her over to Kari's enclosure so she can get her out for their little trip.

Ryu shook his head "no, this time I'll walk, puts me in a good mood before I have to tend to business." He walks tot he gate, Four guards waiting. The guards take possition before and behind Ryu and Lyoko. They would then heads out, and after a fair walk, they come up to the first village. The people FROZE when they saw Ryu, and promptly bowed low to the ground as they neared.

Ryu finally came to a stop, holding his hand up to indicate the others also stop. The guard do so and remain at attention. Ryu then says "A few days ago, a village in my lands was stockpiling arms and training troops. It should be easy to figure out why they did this, however, I and my troops crushed this would be group of rebellous people and sent the spared to the other villages to spread words and warning. I now ask, if you've receaved such warning, and made preparations for my arrival?" An old woman stepped from her house and approached. He bowed to Ryu and says "we have recieved word, and leave our door open to you for inspection." Ryu looks tot he old woman and smile "You were always a wise one, Sakura-san." Sakura nods, then turns and says to the village "conceal nothing from these people, if you know what is best for you." With that, the guards break from them and begin their search.

Ryu saw this with the children and give the faintest of smiles. This could be a good thing. When the guards were done they approached Ryu and said "my lord, we've found no weapons, now armor, nothing to indicate this village is readying for a rebellion." Ryu gives a nod and the guards form back up. He says to the village as a whole "I'm pleased to see you remain loyal to your load, or at least leard the lesson that the previous village did not, as reward, I will only ask half tribute this year." Sakura bows some and says "your are most gracious my lord." He smiles some and says "allright, onto the next village." And they all head out, after Lyoko and Kari bid the children goodbye.

They would walk a while still before coming to yet another village, or rather town, as it was significantly bigger. They walked up the main road of the town, but rather than shivering farmers, bowing at their approach. They were greeting them as if they were mere customers passing through, offering products, shots at games, services. The guard maintained their formation, ryu was turning the people down in a rather polite and friendly manner. Soon they were walking up to an offical looking building.

Ryu nods and says "we all are." He walks up the steps and throws the doors open. A short plump man suddenly turns with a yelp as he sees this, a smaller young man/boy, also yelped and coward behind the bigger man. "G..gr..greetings m'lord, what brings you here?" Ryu smiled, clearly he enjoyed giving the man a small fright. He casually walks over to the man and says "I'm here for my reports, and this time, I hope they are accurate." he pats the man belly, which jiggles, as he says "cause I'd hate to think you're the only one getting plump around here." The short man nods and ushers the boy to hurry and get the reports.

Ryu looked over to Lyoko and Kari, and saw how stranging kari was acting. The short man started to fidget and tried to draw Ryu's attention "pay no mind, it was full of incence one time, the cat their's probably..." Ryu shoves the man to one side and walks over to the chest. "If I find anything besides incence in here, this hall will reak of the scent of fat governor." He then reaches down and rips the lock off. He then bids Lyoko to open the chest and see what's inside.
