Kaguyo smiled---but her smile was the type to send shivers up his spine. "Alright."
She had ignored Po-ar, but both men had awfully good pleas....
The room presented her with something different.

She was taken off guard, that was for sure. She had forgotten how crafty Ainsu was...
However, she was soon very, very wary. The window was open, sure....
But the blood trail on the floor said otherwise. She had wounded his shoulder, after all, and Kaguyo was an avid huntress.
She knelt at the fireplace, trying to figure out where the passage opened. She wasn't a fool---but she couldn't figure out where he'd gone.
"b*****d..." she growled, beginning to stand again, "He's still in here..."

Wherever he has gone, he wasn't going to stick around for long.
Kaguyo took off sprinting down the hall, out the palace doors and into the winter. She weathered the cold rather well, given the chilly night; she shot off into the sky, hovering over the building.
If Ainsu was coming out, she'd see him.

And Kaguyo's eyes knew exactly what to look for. At the slightest hint of movement she began to trail him...
Again, this was a lot easier when he left a blood-trail.
Before long she was catching up with him, he could feel her drawing close. She didn't mask her ki; she didn't care.
She wasn't wounded, and he was.
But the question truly was, did she want him to suffer, or did she want to let him go? Either way she needed a keepsake for Po-ar.
Whether she wanted to or not, she couldn't quite openly defy Aled. She gave him sass and back-talked and whatever she had to all she liked, but orders were orders...
She followed the blood trail until it stopped, frowning before quickly looking around. The thread would eventually lead to the needle...
It only just stopped when you were at the end.
She didn't speak, however, her senses keenly trained on her environment. Ainsu was not one to be underestimated....
Then again, she could survive the cold longer than he could.

And there it was, the tell-tale spark, so to speak. Kaguyo had sparred Ainsu many, many times in her day; deflecting this was cakewalk.
Well, maybe a little effort... but she did it.
She looked surprised, even if she wasn't utterly shocked. "Should have known better..." she muttered, lunging forward while summoning up her own ki. "And I had half a mind to let you escape...!"
She began to throw punches at him like tornados throwing...well, just about everything.
Just the sight of him made her angry.

"And isn't that what you deserve, for leaving me to die?" Kaguyo asked, narrowing her eyes.
Anger was something to be surprised about, coming from him. She laughed bitterly. "You're upset over being used?? Now, imagine that..."
He knew her attacks too well, to her chagrin; she only landed a quick elbow to the jaw again. "You told me I could take my vengeance---lies, like everything else."

"Not others," Kaguyo snarled, "Just you, just you and Ashuri, no one else!"
She had taken a few jabs, ducking the kick; she took the ki blast, which left her a bit winded. All in all, she had improved greatly since their last spar. Her own emotions didn't help him, either. It was refreshing to see him like this...
"Always so controlled..." she seethed in between punches, her ki flaring, "At least I know you actually feel something."

Kaguyo stopped, deathly silent. For all the attacks he had launched, this one had thrown her off her feet...
Hell, it threw her off the bloody rooftops.
She laughed bitterly, although it wasn't necessarily at him. "You expect me to believe that... You stopped caring for me, yet went after Ashuri." she shook her head. "I never forgave you for that... I won't be such a fool a second time."
