"Oh wow!" Chirp gasped. She'd never seen a place like this... well... except for the other places that were similar. But those places didn't count because those places weren't secret! "So.. you've been living here?"
Hawk was leading Chirp through the building, the two heading straight for the office of a certain Dark-Pokemon themed trainer. "Yeah, It's pretty cool. But it's kinda hard to keep the fridge stocked. Oh, we just got a new stove the other day. yeah. Some creepy dude put it in.. he sounds like thi- ahemahem... He sounds like this." Hawk really didn't know how to describe the man, so he'd just give his best impression. Once they reached the office, Chirp would nod to Hawk and knock on the door/doorway depending on if the door was closed.

"Come in." Sub said as the door swung open, on the other side stood a fierce Pokemon in red shining armor and menacing blades all over, it was Sub's Bisharp, Allan. The Dark Pokemon liked to be Sub's 'bodyguard' and protect him whenever out of his ball, so much that it shot daggers at anyone who came near. "Sharp..." Allan mumbled. "Be nice." Sub said as he didn't look away from his papers.

Hawk nearly flipped out when he saw the bladed pokemon. He and Chirp were able to identify it as a Bisharp, but... why was it standing about in the Office?! Chirp looked up at the pokemon, smiling. "Hello there." She'd say, waving to the pokemon. "Uhm, excuse me, but uhm.. I'm here about joining the team?" She said, trying her best to look around the Bisharp.

"Allan, move out of the way." Sub said to his Bisharp, which stepped out of the way accordingly, not taking his eyes off the guests in the room. "Ah, Hawk and his girlfriend." Sub said with a smile as he stared at the two, head rested on his interlocked hands, supported by his elbows on the desk. "So, you really wish to join huh? Did Hawk tell you what is required of you first?" He asked her.

Chirp moved passed the Bisharp, tempted to just reach out and touch it. She'd never seen one in person... but with a name like Bisharp, and all those blades, she decided against it. "Yup, that's me!" She chirped, her face turning slightly redder. Although they'd confirmed their relationship's status, they hadn't used the titles that came along with it."Oh, uh.." She turned and looked at Hawk, who was standing in the hallway. He mimed looking at a watch and shuffled down the hallway, as if late for something."No, he didn't.."

"Oh, well then, I thought he would." Sub sighed as he rose to his feet, opening a drawing in his desk, taking out a pokeball and tossing it to Chirp, expecting her to catch it. "What you have then is a Raticate." He said taking a box out of the same drawer, setting it on the desk. "You will be using it to capture a Pokemon, with this." He walked up to her, holding out a strange gauntlet-like device, which came from the box he took from his desk. "This is a Snag Machine, you wear it around your hand, like this." He said showing her his, most members didn't keep them on at all times, but he did.
"The Snag Machine gives Pokeballs the ability to capture already own Pokemon, overwriting the former trainer's ownership and giving it to you." He said handing her an empty Pokeball. "You will be teleported to Goldenrod City, once there you will seek out a gang of members who terrorize the city. There are several gangs but each use a specific Pokemon, normally called starter Pokemon, from any of the regions of the world. I want you to prove your worth by snagging one for yourself." He explained. "Think you can do it?"

Chirp was able to catch the ball. She looked at it, then at Sub. Raticate? Raticate?? She'd find out what it was eventually, but for now she needed to pay attention! Chirp listened to the instructions, trying to memorize them. Goldenrod, Free pokemon from gang with the Snag thing. After all was said and Done, Chirp put on the snag machine, took the empty pokeball in hand and looked at Sub. "Yes! That I can do!" She said confidently!

He said as he took out his SNAG and pressed a few buttons on it, shortly after a Claydol will suddenly appear in the room. "Once ready, rest your hand on this Pokemon and you'll be taken to Goldenrod Pokemon Center." He explained.

"Uhm... no, not really!" She'd say, looking at the weird bulbous thing that had appeared. "I guess I'll see you later!" Her hand was placed onto the Claydoll, and she'd be teleported off.
[should I post it in the missions section, or send it to you?]

Goldenrod city was nothing like Chirp imagined it to be. Having grown up in the more crowded parts of Castelia, she was used to the hustle and bustle of the city. "Alright, I'm on the case." she said, walking amongst a group of commuters. They didn't pay her any attention, as they were talking on phones and doing business as they walked.
'If I want to find a gang member, I'll probably have to go to the less... happy places.' As the thoughts ran through her head, Chirp found herself instinctively trying to leave the better parts of town. She could never stand it in places like these. They were too clean, too pampered.
Chirp hadn't realized that she was lost in thought until she found herself standing at an intersection, her hands balled so tightly her palms were hurting. She took a second to find out where she was. She'd gotten what she wanted. She'd wandered into the shadier parts of town. From the signs painted on the buildings, she was in the territory of the SeedRollers. There were drippy seeds plastered everywhere. It felt like home... just with sweet smells wafting in the air.
It didn't take long For Chirp to find a bunch of people sitting on a stoop. Infront of them rested a bunch of Bulbasaur. Going up against a group was never a really smart thing to do. Upon further investigation, there were other evolutions of the pokemon walking with other members of the gang. Chirp noticed that they were wearing discarded leaves from their pokemon. Must be a sign of their rank.
Chirp ducked into an alley so she could figure out what she was going to do. Getting a sudden rush of inspiration, Chirp suddenly threw a trashcan out into the street, and dashed to the other end of the alley. She could hear the people reacting to the trashcan. It would only be a matter of time before they came to investigate. As she ran, she knocked over everything she could, and stood at the end of the alley.
The group had sent a few people to check it out, "She must be one of those Fire creeps!" one shouted. Chirp's plan was working! It was working so well that she even had to duck behind the corner to avoid Razor leaves! She... hadn't thought this through all the way.
"Well, there's only one way to solve this." She whispered, pulling out a pokeball and sending the Raticate out. "Oh well aren't you just a plump little fella. Do me a favor and help me out, OK?" The Raticate seemed to be happy to find someone to be nice to it. She'd take a moment to fiddle with the Snag, trying to figure out how to make it capture the other pokemon. In the process, she came across the Pokedex. The people were getting closer, so she quickly found information on Raticate. "okokok, use Swords Dance!" The pokemon began dancing, illusionary swords spiraling about as it did so. "Again!" The Raticate danced harder, the swords showing up more and more. "Again!!" The Raticate danced harder, the swords blocking the pokemon from view.
That's when the members arrived. One with an Ivysaur, and the other with a bulbasaur. A dude wearing a scarf of Ivysaur leaves pointed at the mass of spiraling swords. "It's her pokemon! It's probably a fire type! Be careful! Ivysaur, use Solarbeam!" "Bulbasaur, help out with a Tackle!"
Chirp swallowed hard, hoping that this worked. "Now, Use Quick attack!" The Raticate shouted as the mass of swords became a blur of blue and white light, swerving around the bulbasaur and slamming into the Ivysaur. The poor grass type didn't know what hit it. But it did figure out that it was a pokemon as it was flying down the street, the move having knocked it up and over a nearby fence. Its trainer ran after the pokemon, yelling for it to come back. Raticate seemed happy to have hit the other pokemon.. that is until it was Tackled in the back.
Now it was one on one. Raticate and Bulbasaur, Chirp and random dude. "Raticate, Quick attack!!" Chirp commanded. The raticate turned into a blur again, but the trainer instructed the Bulbasaur to dodge! It was a narrow escape, but the bulbasaur dodged the speeding rat. "Raticate! Let's try some more Swords dance!" The rat complied, doing another dance and spawning more illusion swords. The Bulbasaur Let loose a spray of Razor leaves. "Keep up the Swords Dance!" The Raticate took the hits, trying to dance through it. Eventually he just couldn't dance anymore. The Bulbasaur just kept sending leaves its way. It was getting to the point where Raticate couldn't take it anymore! "Thank you, Raticate. Please! Use Quick Attack!"
The Raticate was just way too happy to start moving again. It became a blur again, leaping up at a nearby wall. The Raticate would kick off the wall, then kick off a lamppost in order launch itself directly at the Bulbasaur. The Two pokemon collided so hard, that the attack ended up knocking them both out. The Raticate, having ricocheted off of the grass pokemon, landed down the street. Chirp knew this was her chance! She quickly got out the empty pokeball and fumbled with the Snag. She looked up in time to see the Trainer going to pick up the pokemon. "Hey!" she shouted. The trainer looked up, startled by her yelling. She took that time to throw the pokeball..er.. snagball. The ball hit and took in the bulbasaur. Of course, the Trainer began flipping out, yelling questions and insults. It was like he didn't know what to do with himself.
Chirp used that moment to return the Raticate. It had fought well, and deserved a rest. Chirp ran over and scooped up the snagball. After being hit by that Quick attack, the poor bulbasaur was in no condition to resist that much, and had been captured. "I did it!" She cheered.
"The only thing you did... is steal my pokemon, you thief! You just got yourself in a lot of trouble, girly."
"mmhmm. yeah. mmhmm. that's great." Chirp said, ignoring the boy. She really didn't need to make a lot of conversation. He implied that he was threatening her well being, and when you threaten someone you must be prepared to take damage too. So, With a swing of her leg, She'd kick the boy... uhm... well, let's just say the pitch of his voice increased. With the boy properly incapacitated for the moment, Chirp would run off, heading into the better parts of town. It was such a rush! She'd heal her pokemon at the pokemon center before heading out again, using some of her funds to catch a few cabs in order to get as close to the mountain as she could, and from there she'd follow the path she and hawk used to get up there. By the time she got back, her hair was a mess, her boots were muddy, she was sweaty and tired, and everything ached. Chirp hadn't felt this good since she was little!

After disembarking from the Royal Unova, I visited a couple of key locations in Castelia City for nostalgia regions. I even tried to get me some Casteliacone, but Hawk wasn't lying about the line, so it didn't take me long to get GRAY to Claydoll me back to HQ. I had quite the surprise waiting for me in my room when I got there, though. Scattered around a bunch of items someone had left for me was an egg, all of which was lying on my bed. With the items was a note written by Sub, thanking me for helping him with HQ's power issue - the problem I resolved by taking that spelunking trip into the Wellspring Cave.
I had to say this for Team Snagem - Sub doesn't skimp on the rewards.
I took my time putting everything away to think about what I was going to do for that egg. For the moment, I just held it in my arms. Samurai, Sunny, and Drillbur were waiting for me outside of my room, and after shutting the door and locking it, I let them follow me into the lounge, where I hung out for the time being.
Chaos returned shortly after I found my way to the lounge. He was looking at a Snag Ball and smirking. I made a point not to say anything to him for now, as I was still a little displeased about what he called me when we first met. He didn't seem to notice though, as he walked away without so much as a sideways glance. I shrugged as he walked off, and didn't let it bother me.

Hawk accompanied Sub as Chirp came into the building.
"Well, I got to kick a guy, and got myself a Bulbasaur!" The semi-spaced out look in her eyes meant that Sub's comment would go unheard. "The Raticate you lent me was a great help." The Raticate's pokeball would be passed to Sub. "So you guys do this like... all the time?!"
"Pretty much..." Hawk said, grinning.
"Ok, So uhm... Now what?" Chirp asked, rolling the Bulbasaur's pokeball between her hands.

"Well, now you are a member of the team." He said pocketing the Raticate's ball. He would then walk over to a table and hand her a PDA-like device. "This, is a SNAG, a communication device members of the team use to stay in touch with each other, it has many other features, Hawk can help you figure it out, or GRAY, the artificial intelligence which contacts and assists you through it." He said as he then turned back to the table and grabbed a backpack, handing it to her. "Inside you'll find five empty Pokeballs, two potion, two revives, and stuff like that, figure it will help you get started. Also, you may keep the Snag Machine. Welcome to the team my lady."

Before I could walk too far away from my room, I got a message from Sub about some shady business in Olivine. I opened my door back up and set the egg down on my bed again. Wouldn't do to bring it into danger. With that done, I left the room, locked it back up, and told GRAY to have Claydol zap me to Olivine.
He did so while making some kind of remark about laziness, but I tried to tone him out. Arguing with an artificial intelligence is tiring.
