sweatdrop I think Iron Ball only takes effect it they fling it at the flier or trick it to them..
Well I read the description, it doesnt say anything about throwing it. It's an equip item.

xd As far as the description goes, it says
"A pokemon held item that cuts speed.
It makes flying-type and levitating holders suspectible to ground moves."
Hmm maybe it only works as a disadvantage then? I must of read it wrong then.
With my low amount of pokemon knowledge I'll assume the obvious and say, it looks to me the holder lose half their speed, and if their flying/levitater they get hit by ground...so this is like a horrible item to have on.
