*She didnt bother to move her head back to look at him as he spoke. She just knodded her head a little and kept stareing off into what looked like nothing at all. She let out a small sigh*
"I fight for the fun of it and the challenge. I rarely fight for anyone else . . . anymore . . ."
*She shifted a little and moved her head down so she was looking at the ground this time*
"Things change and so do people, they always get in the way when I care too much and bad things tend to fall upon them and myself. I keep my distance and make it so I am easily detached. It's just easier for me if I'm not attached to someone, I don't have to save them, or anything when they need my help . . . I just don't need to be in that position anymore, lost a lot of close people because I cared too much . . ."
*When she finally stopped talking she got quiet and just sat there looking at the ground, her hair still hiding her face*

Focht understood the feeling all too well having lost friend, loved ones, even thoughs he sought to help.
"Believe me....... I know the feeling..... "
He was recovering rather quickly, her care helped that along nicely. His ribs had healed most of the way. At this rate, the hole thru him would close soon and then the burns would start to heal.

Albert: *Albert had been making his way toward the Dojo for a time now, and was nearly upon the area. He was displeased to find the presence he was looking for was no there. So now Focht, and Yotsuba could feel the presence of the old vampire in the distance. Heading toward "The Citadel"*

*She still didnt bother to look up at him or in his general direction. She just seemed to be in a slump and wasnt too happy about her recent thoughts. She'd started to remeber things from her past that she'd taken time to forget. She let a small sigh escape her lips as she tried to rest her mind and put it at ease*
" . . . You may say you understand . . . but you don't know the graves I've made for loved ones who have died because I was too cocky in battle and couldnt keep them well enough alive . . . "
*Again it seemed like her head had hung lower. Though she tried she couldnt seem to get away from these saddening thoughts and she couldnt control what she'd start saying to him. She'd think about it and it would just come from her lips as if she'd meant to say it all along*

Focht moved his right hand and placed it on her knee, hoping to help calm her alittle.

*She shifted her glance to his hand once he touched her and she seemed to pop back to reality. She shook her head alittle and then tilted her head back up so it was straightened*
"That may be . . . But you can't help feeling like most of it was avoidable when you're me and have been raised to kill when you don't want to kill for the sole purpose of killing"
*She couldnt help but smite her past, she hated what her childhood was like and hated the fact she was banished for having a heart. She tired to make herself laugh a little while she thought about how her breed of demon werent s'post to have hearts and yet she did have one, indeed.*

"You sound like me.... Hey, its a good thing you have a heart, you might not have met me and then been around to help me out."
Focht smiled alittle, not prying into her past. He was beginning to see they were more alike than he first thought.

*She finally gave in and let her mind wander off into her past. She'd taken time now to think about all of the bad things that happened to her, and some of the good. Though the bad ou weighted the good and she wasnt even sure why so was being given so much false hope in her past. She let out a sigh here and there while the thoughts played like an old movie in her head. A few minutes later once the thoughts started to disappear she cmae to once again and looked over to Focht with a seemingly heartfilled sad expression on her face that would soon go away*
" . . . My past, it was nothing but sadness . . . "
*Her expression changed almost without a big change. Her sad look shifted back to the emotionless look she normally had. She then looked off to her side and huffed a little in disbeleif*
"I doubt anyone from my past, that escaped, is still alive today . . ."

Focht looked up at her.
"....... But its also what proved you had a heart. And has you have found out, having a heart hurts when things go badly, but it also makes you stronger when the time is right."
His body continued to heal: the damaged done by D's blood repaired, the cracked ribs had mended, the hole in his side had healed over for the most part.

"Nonetheless, my heart is something I wish I didnt have at times. Being a full blooded demon with compassion isnt exactly something I've grown to like"
*She replied as she placed her hands together in her lap as she sat. She paused a moment and let out a heavier sigh then normal as she realised that she'd been pouring her heart out to him about her past. Shame quickly flowed over her face*

Focht chuckled alittle, not needing to see her to know she was alittle ashamed.
"Its been awhile since you had someone to talk to like this, hasn't it? Don't worry, I am not going anywhere for a while. and I am a great listener."
His tail begain to sway alittle as he sat up, this time not becoming too dizzy to stay up. If he was anything like a normal person, this would have complicated his injuries.

*Yotsuba by now had hung her head even lower as she listened to him speak. She paused and started to lift her head up but stopped herself*
"I've only spoken to one other person like this . . . So I guess you could say it's been awhile . . ."
*She muttered under her breathe as she slowly started to lean backwards and flop back onto the ground with her forearms over her eyes, hiding her face partly*

Focht looked over at her from his seated position, hunched alittle to keep from falling back down.
"Don't worry..... I don't plan to tell anyone."
He sighed and checked his left arm closely thru the bandages, running his right hand over the deep spiral like gashes that didn't seem to be healing at all. Feeling bone thru the cloth covering his arm, he paused, realizing how lucky he was just to have the arm attached still.

*She continued to lay on the ground with her arms covering her face. She took a couple deep breaths and shifted slightly to make herself more comfortable*
" . . . I am not worried about you telling anyone else . . . "
*She murmured as moved her arms from her face and streached them above her head listening to her elbows popping a couple times and trying to avoid her silver nails from scrapping together*
