I'm still getting things done at home and with school. Organizing and getting ready. I have some books my brother gave me I have to go through and some other things sense I got the grant. I'll be around every now and then though.
My daddy is fine, he's back at home. He has two new stints in his heart to relieve the pressure build up in his heart. He's resting and on a very strict diet. We're all hoping that the strict diet will bring up his health and take him back off of insulin. *Crosses her fingers.* And I'm trying to help him out a bit by picking up the slack. whee

I'm glad to hear your dad is doing better, Chas. The diet should help, although strict diets are a pain in the butt to stick to. Ugh
As for me, it looks like there is a possibility that I may have to get another surgical procedure done. It would be outpatient, but it just has me shaking my head in disbelief. I asked Brian "how much can one person take? Really?" His response was "you're not just one person taking all of this.. you have me". heart Still, I just... every time I even get a glimmer of confidence about the situation, I get smacked back down by test results. I'm actually really confused about some of the results. I sent my doctor a message on Facebook. She was online lat night for a while, but didn't respond yet. I hope she gets back to me. This uncertainty, plus this procedure possibility hanging over my head is just not cool.
Also, my mom is going to her first court date today. You know what they say, when it rains, it pours. I'm trying not to totally go into a depressed, emo spiral and I'm succeeding for the most part, but I'm still... bleh and confused. I think I need to get out of the house and do something fun.

Very cool Terry. Man your lucky.
I had a question for anyone who know a bit on how to research a certain time period.
I wanted to write a story set in 1348 Europe (time of the Black Plague). So I need to do a lot of research, such as what the people/church/Rulers where like, buildings, as well as various other thing, but not sure where to start. If any one know some book, videos, or web site I should look in to, let me know.

Start with wikipedia, and go from there. They generally have references. You can also try looking up Black Plague on amazon.com.
