Imperial Guard Regimental Exchange Program
Selected Regiments will be given the chance to provide a veteran to other regiments. Once in the new regiment he will train with the soldiers of that regiment and teach them his home regiments techniques and learn theirs. He will remain with his new regiment until he is mustered out. He will correspond his finding back to his home regiment as he campaigns with his new one. Veterans will be provided a uniform similar to their gaining regiments through the local Departmento Munititorium.
What does all this nonsense mean? People joining in this program will sculpt 1 veteran to send to each other person (not a sergeant) with a minimum of standard equipment, special weapon and heavy weapons teams only with consent of recipient. The goal of this program is to have each participant able to field a veteran squad comprised entirely of guild characters. Each model will be named and painted along the ring of the base. Gaia names will be painted on the bottom of the base.
FAQ:
Q: What about other models I.E. Commisars?
A: Only veterans will be made. Though if you still want a commissar "like" veteran you can send one for Terrax
Q: How do I paint this model?
A: Each participant will list the primary color scheme of their army. Then imagine how you would want your army to look similar. I.E. my guardsmen have Ice Blue or Space Wolves Grey uniforms with gray and black cammo spots, and black flak armor. Now the guy you paint could be similar but instead of spots he has tiger stripes. Of course your veteran would keep your units heraldry and numbering
Regiments Currently Volunteering Veterans:
