Thank you! You are very lucky, I always wanted a big family. We couldn't have kids either. But as of a few days ago...there is the tiniest possibility we may adopt a boy....maybe.

We tried in-vitro and that didn't work. We tried to adopt before, but we were told we were overqualified. I am not kidding. This is the nephew of a friend, and his father committed suicide and his mother is a terrible drug addict so he needs a good home. I had given up all hope long ago, and now maybe there is hope.

awww..thats so sad..how old is he?
i was really scared about if i would be able to have kids for a while there. i miscarried 3 times before my oldest daughter came along. both pregnancies were terrible, full bedrest from 6 months on, problems from 3 months on. i am just glad we finally got them.
i cant imagine going through all that you have gone through. and how is anyone overqualified to adopt, thats rediculous... i hope this works out for you and this little boy...sounds like he needs a good stable, loving home

To go right to bein a mom of a teenager...whew! But I think we are up for the challenge. What you had to go through doesn't sound like too much fun either. But I am sure it was worth it! I had one friend who had 16 miscarriages before she finally had her daughter. I don't know how she did it, I would have given up.

He is a good kid from what I understand though. He likes football but wants to be an artist. He has been pretty sheltered, he was raised by the grandparents until they passed away. Announcement?

He's 15 eek ?! Goodness sad , you only got three years till he's 18 and an adult, I think you might need 2 so you get some more time with one 3nodding Very sad about his parents..... sweatdrop
My boyfriend was like that. His mom tried to kill him when he was a baby and abandoned him and his sister at a grocery store. He had both arms and legs broken in several places and to this day, still has dents in his head. And when there's a mom like that, 90% of the time you have NO clue who the dad could be. But his grandma saved him and his sister and gave them a good home until he was 14 and she died leaving him a legal orphan to this day, poor guy cry .
My mom can't have anymore kids either, but she didn't have her tubes tied, she had a historectomy (sp?), they took it ALL out. I have to have the same thing soon and I'm 21......sucks. Adoption IS my only choice too.

I've got my fingers crossed for you Pinque, good luck!
I grew up the eldest of four and now we're older we all get along great (wasn't always the story lol). It was great at Christmas the whole family getting together in one place. As for me, I don't know if I want any children. But the option is still there.
