He was busy, his eyes fixiated on her side. His eyes slowly scaped his surroundings, finally resting on a bird swooping gracefully below the canopy of trees. It let out a shreik before disappearing. Cinderwing's eyes slowly rested on Hauntedheart, who was gazing at him. He felt his pelt burn. Had he offended the she-cat? Just to be safe, he meowed,] "Sorry, I was listening." [His tail slowly flicked a bit of snow up behind him, sending it against his legs. He smiled slightly.] "Want me to grab some for you, so you don't have to carry it all?" [he asked.]┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛Yes I'm movin'.

Hauntedheart
[Hauntedheart smiled at the tom and flicked her tail. She nodded at his question and placed half of the catmint at the tom's paws. She hadn't even noticed he wasn't listening but that didn't bother her. Though, she could tell he had gotten nervous. Her crystal eyes darted up, locking with his, before the medicine cat looked away quickly, feeling her pelt grow warm. She picked up her half of the catmint and headed back the way they had come, letting her pelt brush against Cinderwing's gently. Hauntedheart then returned to the path she had started on before and continued toward where she suspected the borage would be growing fairly well at this time.]

[ Songkit narrowed her eyes in the silence. ]
"Uh, okay, bye.."
[ Songkit looked around. Her eyes drooped in boredom. ]
[ Padding near the edge of camp, she sighed. ]
'' I cant wait to go out there! "
[ Songkit felt the urge to sneak out. It bobbled her head. ]
Why cant I just.. have a minute's peek?
Because-- Its against the Warrior code!

[He grinned and started padding back to camp
when Darkshadow appeared beside him]
"huh?" [He asked through the moss]
[Rainpaw glanced at Starkcloud]
"Can shuu shake sheh mosh?"
[He asked through the moss]
[I purred and took the moss from him]
[Rainpaw fell a bit behind his mentor and looked at his father]
"First of all daddy"
[The young apprentice began wisely]
"I would never ever ever kill another cat.
Second of all, papa... Killing someone proves nothing.
I think daddy, it's a sign of weakness. They could kill someone because
they know something that threatens the other cat.
Or they could be jealous of something. Daddy? Who killed yous?"
[Rainpaw had asked this question before and his father had
refused to tell him, he wondered if Darkshadow would again refuse]
[I set the moss down]
"Rainpaw? who are you talking to? Are you okay?"
[I called to him]
[Rainpaw looked at Starkcloud]
"I'm okay. No one's here Starkcloud. I'm coming"
[He meowed and glanced at Darkshadow

and guardian of all things."_______________________________________________ [Lavenderstar blinked in surprise at Silentpaw. She narrowed her eyes and smiled, but then growled and frowned. It seemed as if she was feeling conflicting emotions. Her claws sunk into the earth and she kneaded it anxiously, her eyes darting around as she thought.]
Finally, she said, "This is horrifying. Although it is good to confirm your abilities, Silentkit, Cinderwing must be punished for his crimes. However, before I do anything, I will need you two to accompany me to where Darkshadow was buried. I need proof before I can carry out any punishments..."
She thought a few more moments before adding, "Stay here."
[She ran out of the den. Guardianpaw glanced at Silentkit, confusion in his eyes, but waited. Then Lavenderstar returned with Foxfur. (( Sorry for the auto-control but I need this done quickly. I can edit anything you need, June. )) (She had whispered to him softly that she needed him to accompany with her for urgent purposes outside camp. ) ]
Nodding to the two siblings, she said, "Alright, lead us to the spot."
[Guardianpaw glanced at Silentkit, feeling fearful. Lavenderstar smiled.]
"Your sister will come with us. We'll keep her safe."
[Lavenderstar picked Silentkit up by the scruff, and the group headed out of camp, sneaking past Cinderwing without notice. Guardianpaw led them out into the territory. They treaded carefully to avoid the foxes. Finally, Guardianpaw found the spot where he had found Cinderwing. The ground looked undisturbed and there was no hint to any battle having occurred, but the little kitten began to dig furiously. Lavenderstar set Silentkit down gently and dug with him.
They finally uncovered a body.]
Wrinkling his nose, Guardianpaw said softly, "This is it. This is Darkshadow's corpse. Foxes wouldn't bury it in the ground, would they? I should've told you earlier, Lavenderstar, I'm sorry..."
[Lavenderstar flicked his shoulder with her tail, blinking at him sweetly.]
She said kindly, "Please do not worry, Guardianpaw. I can understand your fears. The worst punishment you will recieve will be a few days tending to the elders. Thanks to you and your sister, we have uncovered a murderer that is dangerous to keep in camp. And I will be merciless with him."
[Nodding to Foxfur, the she-cat picked Silentkit up again and they returned home.]
Lavenderstar ushered the kits towards the Shadowstone and murmured, "Stay close to me. I don't want him attacking you in a fit of rage."
[The leader kept them close, but did not allow them on the Shadowstone. She set Silentkit down at the base and stepped up on the sacred stone. She turned to her Clan, violet eyes glittering with rage. Guardianpaw slouched to the ground, fearing having to face Cinderwing. He pressed against his sister for comfort, his heart pounding and little body trembling.]

Silentkit
[Silentkit looked at Lavenderstar, puzzled. She didn't understand what the leader meant by abilities. She allowed the black she-cat to pick her up by the scruff and watched them dig up the corpse. She stared at it, wide-eyed, until Lavenderstar took them back to camp. She sat next to her brother underneath Shadowstone and pushed up against him. This time, she was the one reassuring her brother that everything would be fine.] "Don't worry, I don't think Cinderwing in camp. i think he went with Hauntedheart to get herbs," she told her brother softly and licked his shoulder softly.

Will you stand up and take your chance?XXX  [Lavenderstar stared down at her Clan, her rage boiling. She struggled to keep her composure, feeling her pelt itch with fury. She raised her violet eyes to StarClan, seeing the skies cloudy. StarClan is unhappy, she realized, twitching her tail.]
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather before the Shadowstone for a Clan meeting!" she yowled.
Glaring into the gloom, she growled, "Unfortunately, my friends, this meeting is not one to celebrate. I have uncovered a foxhearted traitor among our ranks. I did not suspect such black hate could hide amongst my noble warriors without reeking. However, thanks to these two kittens, I have discovered evidence of this treachery."
[Closing her eyes, she sighed. This was not something Rainpaw, Envypaw, or any of Darkshadow's kits should hear. She knew Hauntedheart would be upset as well.]
"Darkshadow's body was found buried outside camp."
[The clan swelled with shocked murmurs. Lavenderstar silenced them with a wave of her tail.]
After a pause, she continued, "After inspecting the rotting body, I found claw marks on what flesh remained and crushed bones. The body and the area around it did not smell of fox (besides, why would a fox bury a cat?) Cinderwing was supposedly the only witness to Darkshadow's death, but it turns out another cat-or kitten, I should say-witnessed the event as well."
Glancing down at Guardianpaw, Lavenderstar continued, "He has confessed what he saw. And what did he see?"
[The clan swelled with murmurs again, this time more snarling and hissing.]
Without hushing them, Lavenderstar snarled, "He saw Cinderwing kill Darkshadow."
[The clan erupted in madness. Questions were shot around, and Lavenderstar yowled over the noise.]
"Guardianpaw confessed he helped Cinderwing bury Darkshadow! And that Cinderwing tore through a wall of brambles to create his wounds! As well as the fact that Cinderwing threatened to kill him or Silentkit if he confessed! But the kitten has been haunted by the crime and finally, and bravely, confessed to it, along with Silentkit's support. He is willing to recieve any punishment for his silence."
[The Clan shot looks at Guardianpaw, some pitiful, some enraged. (( Whatever your cat's opinion is on the matter, it's all good. )) Lavenderstar spoke over the murmur again.]
"Now it is time we call the foxhearted fiend forward for his judgement. Cinderwing, step forward this instant."
[Lavenderstar's eyes blazed unmercilessly down into the crowd, her tail lashing. Her claws were unsheathed and they scraped against the Shadowstone as she flexed them angrily.]

[Rainpaw glanced at his father]
"Cinderwing killed my daddy?!"
[He hissed, and, the death of his father becoming fresh
once again. Rainpaw started to howl into the sky]
[I dropped the moss when I heard Lavenderstar's words]
CINDERWING?!
[I glanced around the camp.]
[He was the last cat I would expect to commit murder.
I couldn't believe it]
"Rainpaw, Rainpw hush"
[I meowed soothingly and curled
my fluff of a tail around him]
[Rainpaw hissed and batted at Starkcloud's
tail before continuing his howling]
"DADDYYYY!"
[He yowled to the sky]

"Hush, Starclan will watch over you"
[I tried to comfort my apprentice]
[Rainpaw wirled around to look at Starkcloud]
"Starclan?! STARCLAN DON'T EXIST as far as I'm concerned.

The urge quickly went away as he felt something brush past him. He shook his head slightly, clearing the intoxicating scent from his throat. He followed Hauntedheart, his tail rhythmically flicking the snow behind him. He paused, only for a moment. He could have swormn he could have scented Lavenderstar....and someone else. He shrugged lightly, continuing to catch up with Hauntedheart.]

To hold back the tears until it's closing time[Rabbitkit watched quietly as Songkit padded away. He snorted. Obnoxious she-kit. His eyes narrowed slowly as his good paw's claws flexed into the ground underpaw. He sighed. Of course the kit couldn't wait to go out. That's what all kits wanted to do. Hunt and kill. It was a wonder that the Clans were still separated!
A loud, angry voice made Rabbitkit close his eyes. He sighed. Perhaps Lavenderstar was going to make him and Songkit apprentices. A voice laughed inside him. Yeah, make me an apprentice. I can hardly run, much less fight! Part of him said. Sighing, the tom looked down at his horribly crooked and disfigured, and sighed. That was true. He ignored Lavenderstar's loud, obnoxious voice and continued staring at his paw. He snorted. What a disgrace he would be to his real father. Can't even fight!] I survived, I'm still alive
But I'm getting close to the borderline

I realize, what is wrong with me.
Can't get over you, can't get through to you. "You understand me so well, Rainpa-"[He was instantly cut off when Lavenderstar, announced something. Something that made his heart skip beats even though he wasn't alive. ]"Yes! The truth has finally come out! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"[Not realizing everybody else around him could hear him. Darkshadow immediately showed his ghostly spirit, and slowly padded up to the shadowstone.]"Hey, down here."[He called, but looked back at Rainpaw as he ran off.] Days, come and go.
But my feelings for you are forever! Will you come back?
