The elevator continued its climb upwards along the thick trunk of the tree. Jacob making sure to keep his eyes forward or up towards the leafy tree top so they wouldn't avert down to the ground level that was growing farther beneath them.
"Hey.." the boy glanced over at Quils before continuing on. "The next time you decide to up and leave my sister again. You better leave some sort of notice behind about it instead of leaving her in the dark. I'm growing tired of seeing my sister go through this routine every few months instead of every year. She most likely won't admit it but it does grow heavy and hard on her. Understand?"
Quils may not realized it but that right there was the most Jacob had talked ever since coming to live at Black Amber which was a full year or so ago.

Quils slumped down into a crouch and smiled pleasantly towards Jacob. It was nice to hear him actually say a complete sentence. There was a moment where he felt guilty, guilty for having disappeared so many times. "Don't worry, I intend to stay for quite a long time and if I do have to go away for a while I'll tell her." he said, confident in his words. The elevator soon halted and Quils was the first to get off.

Jacob hoped so for his sisters sake. The boy moved hastly to remove himself from the unsteady elevator glad to be off the ride. Perhaps next time he should simply climb down the trunk it would be good excerise anyway. Upon stepping off he paused for a moment smelling the familiarity of home made cooking. He truely couldn't understand how other people could stand by already prepared foods. He tried one once and was highly disappointed by the appearance and taste of it. Before heading off towards the tree house he gave a brief glance over to Quils.
"You better. If you don't I'l make sure to send Darksun and his twin brother after you." Then he would head off.

Quils in the past would have reassured Jacob but, after his mentality had started to merge with Id, he took it lightly. He moved into the kitchen and sat down where he was before, a sly grin on his face. "Hello."

Jacob came walking through the kitchen where the full scent of dinner filled the entire room much like a oven. Walking past the table to the counter of plates topped with food. While walking past the counter he snatched hold of one of the plates. Usually the boy did eat at the wooden sturdy dinning table. But, for this night he was going to leave the two in peace. Besides, he knew his sister liked to discuss various things at the table. He was sure the topics would be different this night and he didn't want to present for it. The boy whispered a thanks to his sister for the meal before snatching his horde of books in the other arm and headed off to his room.
Teresa stood there watching him go before turning to Quils snatching a small sunflower towel catching sight of that grin. "If I didn't know any better I would say you are coming up with something. Your grinning like a fox over there."
Folding the towel back up placing it back where she snatched it from she grabbed the two remaining plates. Setting one down infront of Quils before setting her own down. Taking the other seat calmly after grabbing the drinks. The plate had a form of golden brown patties yet the meat was some form of whiteness, crab. Then there was a side of salad.
"Enjoy the walk?"

Quils nodded as he took the plate, setting it down in front of him and inhaling the aroma of the meal. He was surprised that Teresa hadn't noticed it yet. Id hadn't made any appearance at all though he should have even with all that Quils had boasted, it was time for him to explain. "Id no longer exists, Id is me and I am Id." he began, bringing a peace of vegetation to his mouth and eating it quickly. "My father passed down his strength to me and my personalities combined. I'm whole." he said, a wild smile on his face. It was true, he had become one with his aggressive side and was now balanced. "I just kept up the act because you seemed to like Id too." He felt akward explaining it in such a way and chuckled nervously.

Oh, she had noticed she was simply waiting for him to explain it. So, Teresa wouldn't have to deal with one form of personality and then the other. Now she would just experience it both at once.
"Id was a part of you and you of him. If I didn't like the other it would be liking hating a certain aspect of you. Like you of the whole Reaper thing." Teresa explained. "So, what else happened on this quest of yours? Such as the mysterious disappearance of your gauntlet."

Quils chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh I didn't think you noticed that." he said, a sheepish look on his handsome face. "It was destroyed when I fought my father." he explained how his father had challenged him to duel to the death and how he had conceded to honor his father's wish, how the Death Knuckle was destroyed after absorbing so much dark energy and how he'd recieved a family heirloom, A pair of gloves that unleash dark energy in an explosion. After the explanation he was finished eating. Moving back to Teresa he smiled. "So what did you want to talk about earlier?"

Now she was getting the realy deep story of what happened while he was gone. Good, she was glad she didn't have to pry it out of him. She ate away at her meal during his story telling. Making sure to take it all into memory as she listened intently. Pushing her plate off towards the center of the table sipping at her drink as his story came to a close. Now all the focus on her as she set the cup back down.
"Well, like I mentioned earlier there's much change that has been going on here at Black Amber." She started off. Teresa went on to the details of how the higher members were given assignments to fullfil. She was put in charge of the defenses of the Towns, the medical establishments, and there were little rumors about that she was about to get the job of a lawful position as well. She brought all this into the focus of one of the newer things being made the Lumber Mill. Which was going to be built here in the Wilderness. That was when she mentioned the fact that she had been debating whether or not to move herself and Jacob into the towns or to remain staying here within' the wilderness.

Quils nodded, listening carefully before scooting back. "I see." he said, looking at her with a serious expression. "Well, it is your choice, I'm happy anywhere but I like the wilderness more. But, what's best for Jacob is really the case, right?"

"Yea..that's whats really been keeping me back from moving us to the town. I know Jacob ain't ready for it yet I don't want to be close to the Lumber Mill. So hopefully when its built it will be built off to a deeper part of the Wilderness." Teresa slowly climbed out of her seat snatching up their empty plates.
Taking them over to the sink to wash them off before the remainder of the food could get hard and stick onto the surface. "I do perfer to stay here as well. Though I have such little time to enjoy it from being kept busy all the time."

Quils turned in his chair, resting his elbow on the table on watching her. "Well maybe I could help you." he offered.

Reaper took back her seat sipping at her cup of apple cider she always had a bottle stuffed back in the cupboards. Since knowing him she had gotten herself addicted to the drink. Legs becoming cross at the knees as she leaned back in the chair with the two front legs standing several inches above the ground.
"I'm sure you can."

Quils looked down and chuckled pleasantly. He tried to lean back as she did, but leaned too far and ended up toppling backwards. His eyes spun as he stood up, disorientation was set. "Everything is spinning." he mumbled as he stumbled onto the table, laying on his back. He shut his eyes to keep everything from rotating like a ride gone wrong. He was able to get his mind back on track. "Ok, so what do you do?" he asked, laying as still as possible.

The table shook along with the floor when the husband to be crashed to the floor with full force and speed. Though instead of helping him up or asking if the man was alright Reaper simple laughed silently to herself. He had no sense of balance at all. It was a good thing she had cleared off the table or he would've broken several glass objects. Not minding the fact he was using the table top as his bedding station her fingers would run through the long purple pony tail. Feeling the silkness of it around her fingers.
"Me? I run a blacksmithe shop with Jacob as my assistant. I get all the medical reports from all the hospitals and clinics set up in the towns. Soon I'll get the same thing from the daily reports from the military defenses once they finish. And soon I'll be busy going through the towns to make sure that the law is being kept in order. So, I'm rarely going to be home except to read the reports.' she answered.
