Reeve jumps slightly, then winces as his herb pack, laden with heavy samples from the spacerock swings into his knee.

"Sorry," she said, then paused for a moment.
Do I really want to ask him how he is tonight?
She decided that it probably couldn't hurt anything.
"So how are you tonight?" she asked, moving back towards one of the couches, and abandoning the idea of getting her music.

"A little tired... Nami had me working on some chakra control earlier. But at least I didn't pass out this time."
She sat on one of the couches near where Reeve was leaning.

*Zyphier apears suddenly in the main room followed by a great rushing of wind and a noise as the air fills the void he created. He is sweating from exertion and panting from the hours of practice but he smiles widly.* I did it. The flash step.

She glanced slightly towards where Zyph had spoken from, but then turned back towards Reeve almost immediately.

*From the second Eli look away to a pat on her shoulder less than a fraction of a second elapsed yet there is Zyphier patting her on the shoulder. Yet he had just been standing in the doorway. Again this manifestation of speed is acompied by the sound of air moving.*
I am sorry that you are having trouble with your chakra control Eli. I am also sorry to hear that you have been passing out. Maybe you are over taxing your chakra?

She jumped as Zyph touched her shoulder... she wasn't expecting it, and she wasn't all too comfortable around him.
"That's exactly it Zyph," she said before speaking to Reeve again.
"Well, see, I don't have anything to fall back on. All I know about any of this sort of stuff is what I've learned here. Supposedly there's some chance I might have some bloodline trait, but I don't even remember what that was."

*tilting his head senseing Eli's nervousness he looks at her.* Listen your probably leaps and bounds ahead of me. I only know Taijutsu still. So you have a much greater grasp of chakra control than I do.

"Since when does passing out mean someone has good chakra control? I can't really do anything with it. And I hardly know any taijitsu... just a few things Nami taught me. If my life depended on my being able to defend myself right this very second, I'd be dead in an instant."

Well, the good thing about Taijutsu is it doesn't consume chakra so...if you want I've been studying it a bit. If Nyl agrees I can teach you a bit more. Though I will warn you the taijutsu I can teach you are somewhat risky.
*he laughs and smiles* Speed taijutsu, are risky because if you aren't carefull you can run into things easily.
