Cody looked at the two, laughing. Ampi stood on the opposite side of Adie as his trainer, jumping up and grabbing her hand. "It's so funny. He like loves you or something." Ampi, hearing this, blushed. Adie and Sammy were really the only two he had ever gotten attached to and now that Adie was back, he had someone to play with when everyone else was busy. Cody looked at Ampi with a smile then back at Adie. "Houndour missed Ampi? Who could possibly miss Ampi?" he asked, jokingly. The pokemon reached one of its tails around Adie and hit Cody softly.

"Yeah... but it was an illegal tournament so..." He shruggs and calls for Stormy, "C'mon Stormy, leave her alone." Stormy had been fluffing up his wings on Sammy's hair before he flew back over to Arekku, "Hahaha!" Arekku couldn't help but to laugh.

Sammy had her big puppy-dog eyes on now. "But I love illegal stuff..." she whined, folding her arms. She shrugged. "Oh well, I won't miss the next RP!"

As Ampi grabbed her hand, she chuckled softly, holding at as they continued down the beach. Laughing as Cody said Ampi loved her or something, she glanced down at the pokemon, giving him a little wink as he blushed. It was really adorable, even she had to admit.
"She might play all tough, but Houndour really does enjoy your team's company. It;s good for her to get to interact with other pokemon, especially since she hardly ever leaves my side," she explained, laughing as Ampi responded to Cody's comment by reaching around her and giving him a soft tap. Adie followed suit, giving him a playful nudge herself.

"Oh yeah! Guess what I did while you were gone." He seemed to be cheering up alot. He folded his arms and straightened up, trying to appear smarticle or something.

Cody replied with a sigh. "Well, if you stick around, they can play more. I mean, I know at least Ampi misses you and Houndour. The there's me... Who was just a total flipping mess after you left..." He felt himself being nudged so to lighten up a little again, he nudged her back, laughing.

"Hopefully I won't be gone for too much longer, and then when I get back it will be to stay," she said, making eye contact so he would know that she was being sincere. As much as she hated the thought of leaving again, she didn't want to say she would stay and then break that promise to him. At least this time she was giving him a heads up before disappearing, as opposed to last time.
Before her thoughts had a chance to get too serious, he nudged her, causing a smile to break onto her features once more.

Cody's smile disappeared when she told him she wasn't here to stay. "You're kidding, right? You can't leave again." He grabbed her hand and held it tight, looking at her deeply.

the note that tommy had supposedly left crumpled up, and burned to nothingness. tommy appeared on the spot, a blank look on his face. he looked dazed, just standing there. only someone else's voice could snap him out of it.

His grip on her hand, though tight, was not unwelcome, though it did bring a tint of sadness to her green eyes as she looked at him. Somewhere, deep inside, she knew that he would react this way, and seeing him so upset caused her to sigh softly.
"I know, I'm so sorry. I just have some more things to figure out before I can come back full time. It won't be as long as the last time, that I can promise, and when I get back, it will be for good, cross my heart." No matter how she phrased it, she knew he wouldn't really be ok with it - and she understood. Still, she hoped he understood that there was little she could do at the moment - it really was out of her hands.
"All that aside, at least we have tonight though, right," she asked, trying to smile though it was clear that she was upset at herself for making him sad. Placing her other hand on top of his she gave it a gentle, hopefully comforting squeeze.

Arekku started laughing hystericaly then stopped suddenly, "Umm... no." It sounded more like a question than a statement. "No, I'm trying to become a ref..."

Dark enters the main room laying on the back of his new Metagross. He doesn't seem to notice anyone as he stares up at the ceiling.
