Old Man KB Well then you should have fixed the bracket. Right now the bracket reads that the fist ROUND position, the box where the faces go, is contested by two players. That means that the first fight establishes who makes it INTO the bracket, basically, a qualifier. Cause Ecks likes to be creative. Now shut up and accept the fact that it's the first round.

It's a tournament.
EVERY ROUND IS A QAULIFYING ROUND.
If you don't win then you don't qaulify for the next round. Are you saying that if this happens again and someone goes without a fight, then he doesn't win until we recruit a new guy and force them to fight in another 2-day round?

Why did anyone doll out voting power?
xD
This isn't a democracy.
We're participants in a tournament.
Boxing didn't change their rules "Cuh Mike Tyson bit somebodee". They disqualified him...
xD
Why is Dq so un-fair all the sudden?
And if it's so unfair- then why do we have these rules in the first place that need changin?

Ok, so this has to be at least the second or third person I've talked to who didn't read the Rules and Regulations of the tournament. INCLUDING THE PERSON RUNNING IT.
There's a specific rule there that says if you can't commit to the tournament, don't join it. I understand if you get hit by a car or something ( avoid Roen on the roads, folks ) but besides that... you should be allotting time for the tournament regularly around your life and future expectations. You should know that you have an obligation to the tournament and be there.
Someone calls you to hang out when you know you need to write a post, you should be telling them "Oh, sorry man, I'm busy." until you're done. If you aren't prepared to do that, WHY THE ******** ARE YOU ROLEPLAYING COMPETITIVELY?
If it's the third or fourth round into the tournament and you're making illegitimate excuses for why you can't post you shouldn't have joined or passed round 1 in the first place.

Perhaps you didn't read them fully. They ask for one post inside a 24 hour time frame. Thats it.

# Registrants are expected to be able to commit to the tournament upon entering. Each match is expected to last for one week each, which then, all of them will be concluded for judging. Fighters will be given a few days to present themselves for their match, and it is recommended that after signing up, you keep track of the tournament's progress. Having to send out PMs to everyone who does not show up at the time of a branch's start can become a daunting task.
Not to insult your intelligence, but even if it said a post a day, if they aren't posting for a whole week... that isn't a post a day, is it?

That's not much of an answer, KB.
I'm defending the people who sat around waiting for an opponent, not the people who don't show up at all.

Don't mix my opinion up for thinking the Judges aren't at fault, the Staff keeps ******** up one thing after another. The thing is though, when they see their mistakes the better ones try and fix it. That's what's being proposed now, the realization of a mistake and an attempt to fix it.

Byes aren't mistakes though when the person just doesn't show up. So what is there to fix?
