tommy is teleported back to HQ. he didnt even do anything. he thought to himself i dont deserve a reward. i was there for a second, and now im here. gah. tommy had missed the RP.

Cody looks at his pokeball. "Last resort is right. I gotta get out of here before something big happens." As he sends out his legendary, Uxie, he spots a guy in a red hoodie holding a pretty black-haired girl by a firm grip on her arm. Cody looks away and looks back. The two are gone. He shakes his head hard and looks at Uxie. "That was her... I know it was..." Uxie just looks at him awkwardly and teleports them back to HQ, shaking her head.

The two trainers arrive at a battlefield. The cloaked one sizes up his foe. He appears to be a balding, muscle-bound thug, and probably not with the group he came to investigate.

"So, are you going to make the first move, or shall I?" The green-garbed trainer asks.
"After you, runt," Muscle-head gave his opponent a derisive laugh.
"Suit yourself." A Chansey emerges from her Pokeball.
"WAAAAA- HAAAA- HAAA!! Is that all you got, pipsqueak?" He sends a Machoke into the ring.
"Size isn't everything, you brainless oaf."
"I'll show you! Machoke, Cross Chop that eyesore!" The fighting-type crashes both arms down on Chansey's head for severe damage, but she hangs on and grabs Machoke's hand.
"Counter." Chansey throws her foe to the ground and instantly knocks it out.

"Why... you....!" The opponent recalls his defeated pokemon in disgust and sends a Poliwrath in its place. The cloaked trainer calls the injured Chansey back and sends Meganium out. Without thinking, Poliwrath launches an Ice Punch immediately. Meganium takes the hit and with yet another Counter, takes her foe down in one shot.

"So far you haven't disproved my 'brainless oaf' theory," Meganium's trainer taunts.
"Gah! Poliwrath and Machoke both?! I'll show you who's brainless! Magmortar, GO!!!"
"Metagross, let's finish up."
Magmortar unleashes a devastating Fire Blast attack, which almost KOs Metagross on the spot. Metagross even suffers a burn from the hit. It stomps the ground for an Earthquake, but at half power, Magmortar manages to hang on. A Bullet Punch chips off a little more of the fiery one's health, but it's not enough. A Thunderbolt picks off the last of Metagross's stamina.

The cloak-wearing trainer puts Meganium back in. A second Fire Blast scorches across the field, but the Grass-type is able to duck aside at the last second. With a high leap, she smashes down on Magmortar with Body Slam, and the fire-type can't hang on any further.

Enraged, the muscle-bound trainer calls back his pokemon and charges across the field. Before a single punch can land, the cloaked trainer steps nimbly aside. He trips his attacker and grabs his arm. "You're no match for me. You're just too slow."
"Aargh, okay. OKAY!" His arm is twisted behind his back as he begs for mercy.
I have Chansey Sing him a lullabye and drag him back to the tournament staging area.

"Hm, Cops, eh? It wouldn't do to be caught with my Snag Machine. Better make a quiet exit."
I send out Xatu and teleport back to Aquos Island.

*Teleports in with Xatu*
"Hi, everyone. Been having fun today?" I ask.

Cody looked up at Thard and waved, resuming his thought process. "It had to be her... There's no other possible answer. But what would Magma be doing there? And even then, why bring her?"

"Some kid named Ricky, he was a cocky kid, but I kinda think he was a good deep down."
He couldnt shake off the fact that he felt he knew him.
"Cody..."
The boy turned to look at Cody.
"Are you ok?"

Cody looked up at Thard. "It probably wasn't even them. I just saw somebody in a red hoodie holding a girl who looked alot like my friend, Star, who was captured by Magma about a year ago before I joined Aqua. I looked away and by the time I looked back, they were gone.
