Atem watched this all with an amused sort of look on his face, and Bakura watched without much interest. The pharaoh cleared his throat a little when Rei got back-- he had almost forgotten to mention something. "Nanu gave birth; I've got another daughter. Lovely little thing. Her name is..." Atem fell silent, struggling to remember his newborn daughter's name. "Um... Her name is wonderful, I'm sure, whatever it is."

Rei sighed "You really dont like the child do you?" "Baby?" Femi said "Oh I wanna see the baby!" Rei looked down to femi "ask your father." Femi ran over to bakura "Daddy can we go see the baby?"

"Me? Oh, not really." Atem said, with a small wave of his hand. "She's a nice little creature, but I'm more concerned with getting a son. I'm the one who has to do Seto's job now that he's out of it completely. But you are all free to come by and see her, if you want." He added, at Femi's questions. Bakura looked down at his own daughter, feeling slightly repulsed by the pharaoh's words and attitude towards the new princess. "If you want to, I guess." He said, shrugging. He didn't want to go to the palace at all, but didn't want to upset Femi. He looked to the pharaoh. "How old is she?" Atem looked taken aback. He glanced towards Femi. "Her? I'd say maybe three years old. I'm not the one keeping track of them, Bakura, that's your--" "Not my daughter, idiot. Yours." Bakura snapped, wondering how the pharaoh could be so thickheaded at times. Atem was quiet, trying to remember. "Come on." "Well... I'm trying to remember. So many things have been going on, I can't keep track of the time. It was either yesterday or the day before that she was born." Atem said, then sighed. "I'm not a bad father, so don't look at me like that."

"You cant rember her name,you dont know how old she is,you admitted you dont really like her...Yea that sorta falls in the bad father range" Rei said. "Just try agian. Nanu is still young...." Rei blinked "Wow just saying that makes me feel old...." Kek looked up to rei "You old mommy!" Rei sighed running her fingers threw her hair "Oh thanks hun that makes mommy feel so much better."

"Oh, of course I'm going to try again. But I've got to, you know, wait a little while. I'm going to get married to someone else in the meantime, though." Atem had been thinking this over, and decided a month or two ago that if the child was a girl he would take a second wife. Now all he had to decide was who. His gaze fell on Femi. "Hey, she'll be thirteen in about ten years, right...?"

"Hey, hey, just kidding." Atem said hastily, throwing his hands up. He was backing towards the door. "But right now I should probably be leaving. Do you know where Mariku might stay?" Bakura had held himself back from getting angry at the pharaoh for his earlier comment, and relaxed just a little. "There was some underground place we stayed in. I can't remember where exactly it's located, but it's got his entire village there. Or clan, whatever he called it."

"I'll set some men to search the area. Bye." Atem said, feeling the hostile nature in Rei's glare. couldn't people take a joke? He turned and left quickly, though.

Bakura looked down and sighed a little, but bent over and scooped his daughter up anyway. "Well?" He asked Rei, glancing towards her. "Are you wanting to go there to visit?"

"Can I eat it?" Kai asked poking the snake. Rei sighed "no you may not eat the snake. I already fed you!" rei told him. Femi giggled and hugged her father.

Bakura went over to the door, opening it and peering out. The pharaoh must have taken off quickly, because him and both his men were already out of sight. "If they've already eaten we could leave now. You did mean today, right?"
