That's a rather scary outlook. >_> It's not terribly kind to wish that kind of thing on your father. XD;
But why on earth do you want your last name to be carried on? D: That seems... scary... to go to that extent. XD
Also... what is a 'cyber artist" and where is "Omegle"?

The carrying on the last name is an old and out-dated tradition in just about the whole world. There's a reason why the Japanese go by their family name first and not by their given like we do.
Also the bit about having a son, an heir to the name to carry on the family. Like I said, old and outdated but somewhere has taken root in my mind. Probably when I was growing up and it seemed like everybody EXCEPT my mom, dad, grandparents on my mom's side of the family, and teachers of course seemed content of telling me that it was up to me to become a farmer since I was the only boy with the last name of Moody.
No I'm not going to become a farmer and I'm not going to force any of my children into a job they don't want to be in... except for maybe summer jobs, but still feel the need to carry on the last name. Maybe it's just a guy thing.
And Omegle is a site in which you can talk to strangers from all over the world using it. Think the conversations we have here, except with even more random people. Of course I think most of the people on there are perverts or are like my friends and mess with people.
As for "cyber artist"..... unless they mean they make works of art on the internet they're probably talking about how "good" they are at "cybering". And with the mention of Omegle that become more likely.

Yes, this I know... but a name is only a name. That's what genealogy is for. =o
Then again, my family basically consists of the people in one house, soooo yeah. I'd say my ideas of it is probably skewed.
It's cruel and unusual punishment to force a child into something. Especially one who looks to you for approval and doesn't get it unless they work at this or that. Oh well.
Haha... that's what I thought. XD;
How...curious. Is that something someone needs to be made official?

Never really looked up my genealogy, but if dad's to be believed, we've owned the farm since after WW2 when uncle Sam (yes that's all I know him as) bought it from our relitives who was letting it go to waste. Back up to the Civil War onto which the farm was still own by people we was related to, and to back up even more we came over to Georgia from England when it was a simi-penal colony for the families of guys stealing bread and other crimes.
Anyways, was the last part directed to me or Panda? If me, I guess that makes them feel better that they're better at it online then off.
