Aislin blinked at him, feeling stronger than she had. She was still scared, but she didn't fight to push Gab off her chest, "Who is he?"
"She thinks she's four thousand years younger... She thinks it's a few years after her father was killed." Gab supplied.

"Well she was given two drugs, if I'm not mistaken," Core said. He crossed his arms to think, "It's probably not the effect of the first one since she treated us as if killing us were her job when she was on it..." He went quiet to try and remember the effects of the second one.

"It's rare..." Core muttered, "The antidote she took has a rare side effect which is basically regression into her past. We shouldn't try giving her any other drug to cure it since the side effects progressively get worse. The drug does wear out eventually," He looked up at them, "The best thing I can say is, be understanding of her situation and let her take things slow for a while until the drug wears itself out."

Aislin looked up at them, "So... What are you going to do to me?" She gave Core a confused look, "And who are you?"
Gab shifted in place, "Core... This Lin isn't scary like the last one, but... Can't we do anything to get My Lin back?"

"Like I said, give her time," Core said to the dragon gently and knelt down next to Aislin, "I'm Core. We're not going to do anything to you. You're safe here," He smiled.

Gab whimpered and curled over her belly, like a lost child trying to find comfort in his parent who was able to comfort back.

Core petted Gab and nodded, "You have a bit of amnesia. You'll be alright," He said, his voice light and gentle, "This man is Barick, and this girl is Chiasa. We all know you."

"How?" Aislin asked, shifting so she could sit up, it didn't bother her that she was only wearing one of Barick's shirts, "How did I meet you all.
Gab climbed off her when she sat up, he went over to Core, and climbed onto his shoulders. and curled tightly around Core's neck, seeking his comfort instead.
